Blinking, Kakashi shook his head. "I'm still not sure I'm used to that idea. My eyes changing color and all. I guess it wouldnt be all that bad, though. Golden-yellow eyes." Grinning he tilted his head. His nose still wasnt picking up quite as much as other wolfkin, but once in a while he got a breif noseful of what others were feeling. The scent he got from Alina was a pleasant one and made his grin spread further.

"Good." Mercury replied unusually firmly. "Hopefully things will stay that way." She mumbled under her breath. She laughed at Clarissa's groan. "Like I've said before, I think paperwork gets created faster than Novices drench themselves in classes....and you know that we only get paperwork so that we can't roam about the land and use our positions' power to the fullest extent....

Instead we get to sit here and read about food shipments, how many attempts they think will be made on our lives within the next week, and...how to better protect our messenger pigeons from wild cats without ruining their sense of homing." Mercury said, picking up three random pieces of work from Clarissa's desk and stating their topics. She put them back on the desk, giving that last one a rather odd look.

((Mini, you're totally in the funnies again...I almost fell out of my chair..))

((Oh boy....there should be some snide remarks from the twins over this... twisted ))

Being dashed past, the two sisters blinked and looked at each other. "Did that sister have yellow eyes?" "Yes; she did; she's a Wolfkin." "And yet we don't know her...perhaps we should introduce and inquire." "Well at that rush, and this high up, she's certainly not going to the Library. She's likely headed to the Amyrlin."

"So we get to go visit Mercury again, sooner than expected. How lovely." The two turned and began walking the way they'd just come from, and blinked with well hid amusement as they saw the strange man from earlier hoist the yellow eyed woman onto his back and take off...just like a mule. How odd. They decided to avoid the two, and take a different route. They took a hallway to the right, climbed three flights, turned two lefts along another corridor, and then were just six stair flights from the Amyrlin's hallway.

((Oh God! Running up stair with a person on your back can't be healthy!...>.>....<.<.... *whee!*))

Mairyela had expected Skiiy to walk with her the rest of the way to the Amyrlin's study. She certainly wasn't expecting him to pick her up, put her on his back and take off.

"AH! Skiiy Mikaido, put me down immediatly!" Of course, going as fast as he could, she was forced to contradict her words by holding on tightly. Giving a small gasp as he took a sharp turn up the next flight, she found herself having...fun. She gave a heartfelt laugh, something she hadn't done in a while. It seemed to ease her nerves; there had been enough issues going on that she had a right to be tense. Well, just think. Skiiy's able to get some...training?...done, and you get a free ride. Win-win. Oh, Light, don't let anyone see this. We'd either be laughed at or scolded like novices!

She was still laughing by the time they reached the top of the Tower. It had felt like only moments, but they had to have gone at least two dozen flights. Hoping off with hopefully a bit of dignity still in her features, she began fussing over her hair and skirts, but she still couldn't manage a straight face. After everything was back in place to her liking, she looked over at him. The man wasn't even panting, which irritated her slightly. "Now, it's being carried about everywhere, either by horse, or yourself now it seems, that has me so out of shape in the first place." She snickered. Acting collected was harder than she remembered. "A bit of a warning would be nice next time, not just an 'Allow me'. But thank you. It was a lovely ride." Gesturing towards the Amyrlins Study at the end of the hall, she was quite aware of the burning on her cheeks. At this rate, she'd have to invert a weave just to be rid of it.
