Gannon…
Gannon sighed a bit, and nodded. "Thanks. The both of you. I'm not the best at saying it, but, really. Thanks. It means a lot to me. His voice had taken on a more somber tone as he spoke to the girls. "Guess we've all been through hell, lately, and who knows when we're gonna catch a break. Now with this... Ugh..." He shook his head. "Look, I appreciate the support. I really do. Just not used to being on the receiving end." He gave the Reyvateil a smile. "I guess until I get passed this, I'll have ta rely on you. Deal?"
He really didn't know what else to say. Before walking into that pub and stumbling across Mana and Hikari, he'd been along for quite a while, and then it seemed like he was tossed into a much larger group, quickly growing close to people again. Falling into his old habit of playing the protector, even becoming a Vanguard, something he never thought he would do again.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "As long as you feel you need to," Hikari agreed, then shook her head. "No, even longer. As long as we're traveling together. And if we're not and you still need to, then just come find me." She nodded, satisfied with her answer. She glanced back to Mana. "Should we head to the Inn to get ready? I... um... would kinda prefer a bath sooner than later." She bit her lip.My Song is a Shining Light

"Yeah, yeah, Kari, I hear ya. But we should stop by that shop and grab you some new clothes, probably first. So Gannon, what're you gonna be up to? You wanna escort us lovely helpless ladies around or do ya got plans of yer own?" She asked him with a smirk.

Gannon…
"Not that I can think of. Looks like you two have your escort. Lead the way" The Teru gestured toward the clothing shop and waited for the two ladies to take the lead.

As Ishira stepped inside, he stole a glance over his shoulder to see if Gannon had left. A sigh of relief sailed past his lips, I hope he rests, he shook his head with a weary smile. Knowing Gannon, he'd most likely punch straight through til the end. Ishira slowly, as fatigue was not lost on him, took in the ceremony room going through processes in his head as his fingers worked to unbutton his shirts exposing the lengthy tattoo on his back composed of the ancient Teru letters. He let his shirt, that was still tucked in at the waist, hang loosely off of his hips.
Walking silently over to a wooden basin filled with water and an ornate handle, he scooped a ladle full of the holy water and lifted it over his head then turned it over, dousing his head and bare top. After he gently shook of the excess, soaking in the crisp cleansing feeling, he scooped a less hefty amount and walked carefully over to Zek's prepared body. This time he used gentle, quick flicks of his wrist to mist the water over his fallen friend. He then, without a sound placed the wooden ladle on the stone floor then stood and clapped his hands together twice, his hands staying connected the second time. He took in a refreshingly deep and silent inhale before breaking the silence, something as a priest should only do with the voice of prayer in this room. Outside noises only serve to distract a spirit once the ceremony begins.
At some point Yue had followed Ishira into the cloister, but Ishira paid him no mind, the little familiar was wise beyond Ishira's years, and had the knowledge not to disturb the ritual. In fact, Ishira was sure Yue felt the need to be here to see Zek off as well. Ishira's prayer broke into the air and Yue settled on the ground beside Ishira, straightening himself to pay respect. This prayer in itself would take a little over an hour, so Ishira let himself become entranced, mechanical but not- there was more respect and there was no way he would falter this prayer. Yue's ears were hung in mourning, which would twitch every now and then as he felt responses from the spirit.

Mana~

"Well, then, I know just the place." Mana led the small group down the street a ways until they reached a small clothing store. She opened the door and held it for Hikari and Gannon to follow through. "After you," she said.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ She entered into the tiny shop, moving past the half-Teru that was holding the door and gazed around as she waited for the other two.
Moving around the store, she took notice of a few accessories on the wall. Gloves... Gannon had suggested them after all. Maybe they will help, especially if I'm going to be training with a staff... She looked through the different ones until she came across a pair of white and blue gloves. She wordlessly picked them up and decided to try one on."Ah, young missie. See somethin' ya like?" The shopkeep came over to her. "W-well... I was looking for a little change... I guess...""Well, if you're doing a lot of traveling, those gloves will come in handy for certain. They're blessed with Teru magic and will protect your hands from the harsh elements and whatever else your travels may throw at you. Nicely insulated too. 80 leaf." She nearly coughed at the price. "U-uh..." She wondered if buying those gloves, or anything else would really be a good idea. Honestly, she felt like it would be a waste of money if Mana and Gannon blew that kind of money on something for her... "I-I don't know..." She whispered hesitantly, glancing at the other two helplessly. My Song is a Shining Light

Rhaplanca Rhaplanca tossed and turned, awoken countless times by falling land with a start.
"Ah-" she squeaked out and then gasped for air, her chest rising and falling quickly as she steadied herself. Her hands reached to her face as she rubbed her eyes and accepted that she was getting no more rest. She sighed and pushed herself out of the bed shakily, she still felt like she was next to a furnace. I am starting to worry this won't let up, she frowned to herself as the idea of a cool bath almost made her eyes light up. She held herself upright on pieces of furniture as she slowly made her way into the bathroom. Peeling off her dirty clothes, she felt a pang of guilt as to what the bed must look like. She drew a cooling bath and wasted no time waiting for it to fill and climbed in. The rising cold water was a temporary blessing as she tried to think of a long term consolation. I really should dive.. a resenting feeling prickled in the back of her mind again, like a coil of thorns slithering painful throughout. The sensation make her eyes screw shut and she massaged her temples as she took deep, slow breaths again, plan B would be to install... maybe I could do that alone? Who could I ask anyway? Hikari would feel responsible, and Ishira... I shouldn't.. I made a promise and I broke it.. Feelings of loneliness resurfaced, mirroring her childhood and her need to be self-reliant, If only I could see Rhemi again... if only Maoh were here... a seething feeling of guilt for even letting Ishira in hit Rhaplanca and suddenly tears were falling into a nearly overflowing bath. A brief thought of drowning crossed her mind as water reached her mouth and she shut her eyes again and silenced her self.
One heartbeat. Water was over her nose. Second heartbeat. Water was over her head and rising onto the floor. Third heartbeat, a flash of red in her mind and Rhemi's face, with her trademark smirk and a familiar phrase, "C'mon little one, no easy way out. Once more like I showed you-" Rhaplanca shot up out of the water with a gasp and quickly turned off the water and opened the drain. Stupid me... I'm not the only one alone.. she stared blankly at the swirling drain then closed her eyes. Once more like I showed you... sing when you feel alone and I'm not here to keep you company. The memory of when Rhemi was selected to leave and she and Rhaplanca spent their last days together. Rhaplanca stopped the drain, leaned back again and took in a steadying breath and wiped the tears back. Eyes, closed she centered herself and began to sing. A sad song at first that grew into a warm, guiding brave song.~Beneath the Starry Sky~

Ishira continued on with a prayer but felt a strong shift in positive direction, Zek was finding peace quicker from an unexpected source. The spirit was reacting to warmth and kindness- guidance from Ishira's prayer and solace from the feeling of Rhaplanca's nearby song. It was a quiet energy that a Teru's ears could receive. Ishira took note of the beautiful voice and although silence, other than prayer, was the protocol he appreciated a new approach as a witness to it's effect. Yue seemed to twitch his ears in acknowledgement as well. Zek's spirit had become a warm, unseen light radiating outward, into the land and sky. A graceful, vibrant blessing to become one with the life of the world around him. With Ishira's last words of prayer he clapped once more, clothed and started off toward the garden to adorn the body with flora which color had shown vivid color from the holy blessing of the spirit. Purples, teals and whites were selected as tradition of gratitude and celebration of a spirit returning to the life after. Once enough were selected he began to cover Zek completely in flowers as well as adorn the room around. The yellow light of twilight would be offset by the glow of the floral colors by the time he would finish.

Rhaplanca Admittedly Rhaplanca felt better after her song, both emotionally and physically. She finished cleaning herself up and her watery mess feeling rather foolish at her prior display. She would never speak of her weaknesses. Out in the room she changed into her only clean clothes at the moment, her nightgown. She would either have to wash her standard clothes or buy new, and thinking of her funds it would most likely be the former. She sighed as she slipped on the nightgown.
Gathering up her clothes she glanced at the bedspread and removed the less than clean sheets and bundled everything up into her arms and stepped out into the hallway hit by the sudden recollection she knew nothing of this temple but her resolve set her feet to pad lightly down the hallway. Ishira and Yue had emerged from the chamber and as Ishira finished the final adornment, an intricate wreath on the closed double wooden doors, he turned and noticed a calmer Rhaplanca. He too felt an air of calm as he closed the space between them and when her eyes look up to meet his he spoke, "Have you rested enough? We still have sometime before-" he then noticed the bundle of cloth in her arms and the out of place garment, "Ah- I suppose you could use a new outfit?" he realized, feeling foolish for not thinking of sending for one earlier. Then another realization, "You sang earlier?" it wasn't really a question, "I should thank you, I think it was just the thing he needed, thank you," he smiled softly as an accomplished, small sigh escaped him. A flush of embarrassment rushed over Rhaplanca- for her attire and her private song, "S-sorry I just.. I sing when I-" she cut herself off, "It's something to calm me down," she finally admitted looking down, "but I won't apologize for it if it really did help," she acquiesced, "And I am fine with these if they can be washed, I just... don't know where to wash them," she confessed, trying not to spend leaf flippantly. "I am afraid there may not be enough time to let them air dry," he pointed out as he scratched the back of his head, "but don't worry I can send someone out to get something new before washing these. Or I could?" he offered" "Oh," she quietly remarked as she looked at the ground, "I feel bad asking it of you, but you would know best what would be appropriate, and I can't go out like this," she glanced over the bottom of her gown, "Would you be able to?" she looked up to gauge his reaction."I don't mind," he consoled her, "This wouldn't be the first time I shopped for girl's clothes," he laughed to himself, "She was so dedicated to her training I'd have to take the time to buy her clothes she would outgrow and wear through so quickly," he seemed to be lost in a memory for a short time, "She was actually- nah, let's save that story for another time," he smiled big and rested his hand on top of Rhaplanca's head leaving her with that cliffhanger, "For now," he outstretched his arms for the laundry, "I'll handle that and leave Yue with you to keep you company." "I want to hear the story," she pouted, a side she never showed before. She handed over the bundle only to have her hands cradling a mewling Yue, happy to be back with her. She gave him a little chin scratch that resulted in a louder mewl. A smile graced Rhaplanca's lips and she forgot about the untold tale.
"Aw, I missed my cuddle buddy too," she doted.Ishira's eyebrow raised, "I am started to think I am chopped liver next to you with him," he pondered, "Nah, if was chopped liver he'd prefer me solely as a food to eat," he noted, "I'll be off now, you look a little better by the way, but there is no shame in over resting while you can," and with than he started off toward the town, stopping at a room to beckon a Teru temple maid to wash and hang the soiled clothes and linens. Afterwards he took notice to his on apparel's plight, "I guess I should buy some too." Rhaplanca watched on until Ishira was out of sight then retreated to their room. Yue flew over to the bed excitedly but was let down by the lack of comfy blankets. He let out a brisk weep but decided to be undeterred and curled up at the edge gazing at Rhaplanca. "Sorry little guy, I couldn't sleep if I tried but you go ahead," she talked as if he could understand, which he may well have because he laid his head down and rested his eyes. She gazed around the room, it looked as though an explosion hit it. She sighed and set to cleaning it up.

Ishira meandered down the streets to a shop he frequented as a young teru. Memories of selecting beautiful but conservative garments for his older sister caused a bittersweet taste to surface. She was the teru guardian for the previous life giver, which would be Rhemi. She had never returned, and Ishira didn't want to ask any questions of Rhaplanca. One because she likely would not know, and two because Ishira didn't want to know a horrible truth. He wished the thought had never bubbled up and wondered what he would do if Rhaplanca asked about it again. Maybe it's because I am home, or that I brought closure to someone else but I don't want to think about you right now Shiori..." During his reverie he had already found himself inside the shop and before he could pick something out, he noticed Mana, Hikari and Gannon. He held up a hand to acknowledge them before sorting through a sea of colors trying to find ones that would compliment Rhaplanca, the ceremony and everyday wear should she need it again. With his experience it didn't take him long to have an armful and he was off to different section to pick something for himself. Here he was having more difficulty, everything was so traditional for teru men. He couldn't help but to dwell on the high expectations of a teru priest, and a teru priestess... Sad memories of youth threatened to disturb his newly found peace but a smiling girl with long white hair holding her hand out to him snapped him out of it, "Right, enough of that," he said tersely and returned to looking at his possibilities of garments.

Gannon…
Gannon fallowed the ladies into the shop and quickly picked out a plain black shirt and a new pair of boots. He paused when he saw the shop keeper helping Hikari with a pair of gloves. From the look of them, they were pretty decent and the price wasn't too high, either. He could see Hikari was a little worried about the price, but they could afford it for now. He gave Hikari a nod and then went back to gathering what he would need.
As he was finishing up his shopping, he heard the door open and glanced over to see Ishira entering. He nodded at the other Teru and headed up to the counter to set his items down. He looked around to see how the others were doing.

~*Rinna*~ She awoke to the sound of the door closing in the room. Pangs of hunger caused her to groan. "Hmm... want food..." She dragged herself out of bed. "Sooo hungry... but... mmm... gotta get dressed first..." She then noticed her clothes were gone along with Nel's clothing, only to be replaced with a change of clothes for each. "Maybe one of the keepers of the temple... oh, I see..." She said with a resigned sigh. "I guess it was about the time for a change anyway..." Quickly she got dressed and then turned to Nelia, who had been seated on the bed in silence. "Uhh... I'm gonna go look for some food. Bring some back. 'Kay?" Without waiting for a response (though she was pretty certain she wasn't going to get any). The Goddess was standing there, staring off in a pensive manner. And when she left the room, the somber mood followed her. The hallways were quiet, and she happened to peek into a room, seeing Ishira blessing the other Teru's body. Her elder sister's beautiful voice began echoing through the silent halls, the tone sounding comforting but at the same time sad. "All of this... gloom..." She sighed. "What can I do...? Is everyone like this?" She stepped outside the temple, hunger forgotten, kicking her new shoes against a pebble and causing it to skid a few feet away from her. She sat down, feeling hopeless on a bench in the middle of town, next to the dive shop. Suddenly, a couple of people came through the doors of the store."Thanks for that, Yukiko. I was feeling really stressed out after what happened at work. I know it was hard on you but it means a lot to me." "Oh, stop it, Jin. I'm a dive therapist, yes, but you're my husband. Of course if I can do something to make you feel better, I'm going to do it!" After the couple had walked away, Rinna's eyes shot open. "Dive Therapy! Of course! Why didn't I think of that?! It'd be a nice diversion from this!" She'd never tried doing Dive Therapy before, but she also knew it would be relatively easy for her as a Ăź-type compared to a Third-Generation Reyvateil. As a Ăź-Pureblood, she had free reign over the first few levels of her own Cosmosphere easily, unlike the Third-Generations who had to go through grueling training exercises just to control the first levels of their Cosmospheres. "I'll ask the others what they think once I find them. It's not like I don't feel bad for that Teru, but... well if they keep on being depressed like this, nothing is going to change after all." She frowned. "All right." With a game plan in mind, she set forth to going about her business. Her stomach growled. Yes... business... after she grabbed a quick breakfast roll from the nearby bakery for breakfast. She walked in, ordered a few pastries, and took her purchase, heading back on her way to the temple. I just want to help them. And make it easier on everyone... I wonder if it'll be okay.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "O-oh... I... I guess, then, yes I would like to buy this." She moved over, inspecting the clothing some more. Hikari glanced down at her own clothing, inspecting what she needed. Her top had become ratted and torn, but her boots were comfortable and didn't look too bad for the wear. She didn't want to spend too much money on herself, as she hadn't really earned any of it herself. So she just contented herself to buy the gloves and a new shirt. She could go back to the Inn and wash the boots and skirt up that she owned. Not to mention, she rather preferred the color blue, anyway.
She picked through the shirts, and one caught her eye. It was a ruffled blue and white blouse, and from the looks of it would match the rest of her clothing perfectly. Deciding on her choices, she brought up her purchases to the front counter, only then noticing Mana. "You aren't going to buy anything?" She asked in puzzlement, suddenly feeling ashamed for wasting the money again. After all, Mana hadn't bought anything... Why was Hikari allowing herself to get special treatment that she felt she didn't deserve. My Song is a Shining Light

Mana~

Noticing the look on Hikari's face, Mana brought her arms up and waved them frantically. "Ah, no, no, Kari it's not like that! I just hate this crap and to be honest, my clothes are fine for me. I don't want more useless junk to carry. That's the only reason, honest." She put a reassuring hand on Hikari's shoulder. "My clothes are made from tougher material and enchanted, so they act like armor. You need these things, and that's okay. You could buy more too, ya know..." She said upon glancing at the gloves and shirt in the Reyvateil's arms. As Hikari paid her fee, she saw Ishira come into the store. "Ishira, hey," she greeted.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "No, this is fine for me. I kind of like the boots I have. They're comfy. This is all I really need," she said, gesturing to the items in her arms. She set them on the counter and handed the store keeper the money, receiving the change in return."Thank ya kindly, Miss!" She smiled in return. "Thank you for your assistance." She turned to Gannon, holding her hand out with the change in hand to the Teru. The purchase hadn't been much all in all, and they still had most of the money left, but still, Hikari knew that it didn't belong to her. "Thank you for buying this, Res... I mean, Gannon..." Despite wanting to call him by his real name, she faltered. After all, it wasn't like she'd had permission to call him Resonance.
Suddenly, Mana spoke out to Ishira and Hikari whirled around to greet him, the purchased items in tow. "Ishira!" She glanced around, looking for Rhaplanca. "Rhaplanca isn't with you?" She asked, disappointment evident in her voice and expression, though it wasn't intended as an insult toward the Teru. Hikari had just been hoping to see her friend. The first Reyvateil to befriend her. She worried for Rhaplanca, and how the battle had affected her as well.My Song is a Shining Light

His name caught his ears and he looked up to nod at Mana, then his name was called again by a new source and he broke his focus on the clothes before him as Hikari came bounding over, "Rhaplanca? No, she's resting until the ceremony. I just came out to get us both a change of clothes," he said as he lifted the bundle of clothes for Rhaplanca. They were composed of gold, ivory and black, "So far, I've only had luck in finding hers," he gazed back down at the gentlemen's clothes, "I don't like any of these..." he said more so to himself, "It can't be helped," he sighed and picked up a blue and white outfit to get a better look.
