"Do you think I am weird?" Muka tilted his head, finding that this human body wasn't quite as flexible as his own. Hrmm. Thankfully though, the larger adult humans hadn't noticed him hugging the child. It went very well of course so he tried again. This time it was a little boy that Muka approached. "Let's hug!" He grabbed the child into a squeeze but the boy began to squirm and scream. "AHHH LEMME GO STRANGER DANGER!" The strix, in a panic, fled back to Needle. "Their children are just as loud as our own scarelings!" :O

Maybe she'd be best off if she chose her humans with a little more care. The Chatty Human had been a bit of a let-down, what with the slapping tendency and all, so it was probably better to observe the human a little bit beforehand to make sure it wasn't feeling violent.
With that in mind, Leo scanned the surroundings. Everyone seemed to be going to or from somewhere, and it probably wasn't the brightest idea to interrupt a human that was busy - you never knew what it'd do.
But there, on a stone bench near some plants, were a human male who didn't seem to be going anywhere. Its clothes were just as dark as the clothes of Mei's disguise, only it was lacking the colourful hair that the other ghoul's disguise had sported. It seemed to be people watching - or maybe waiting for someone? Who knew -, but didn't seem too terribly busy or preoccupied.
Right, so she had her next target. Leo marched over there with determined steps, plopping down next to the human on the bench with her best serious face.
"Hi." Maybe a too serious face. The human was looking at her chin with what looked like disgust, but whether it was her serious mien or the pimple she'd noticed when passing by a window, she wasn't sure. "Er..." The first hug had been a surprise attack; there'd been no need for talking, but as she'd learned, that approach wasn't exactly the best. But how exactly did you go about something like this?
"Piss off, babyface." Now the human was definitely regarding her with disgust. Great, just great.
"I'm just, well, that is--" Oh nevermind - Leo surged forward yet again, awkwardly enfolding the human in a sitting hug. Why had no-one ever told her that hugging when sitting down was this complicated? She grappled for a good hold on the human male but eventually just gave up.
Come to think of it... this human was taking the hug rather nicely. She looked up at it, beaming happily before noticing the enraged glower on its face. Right. She scrambled away from it, warily regarding it from the end of the bench. It looked furious. Too furious for words, even.
The human made what even she could discern was a very rude gesture before leaping up from the bench and stalking out of there, turning every so often to look at her with great hatred and another rude gesture.
Well, this was good! The guide had said not to look the other way, and frankly, that'd have made walking away a bit of an issue if it wasn't for the human leaving first.
Grinning happily, Leo celebrated her first truly successful human hug.

Needle turned her biggest smile to Muka. "Yes, but the charming sort. These are...the strange kind." There was a difference, clearly. Her head tilted, looking at her book and then at the others around them, spotting something that was somewhat part of the wall and yet not quite. Ah yes, the Scardy-Human. Talk to them first? Okay.
"Excuse me?" She tilted her head up at the one against the wall, eyeing the device in it's hand that connected to it's ears. "EXCUSE ME?" She tried again, waving her arms above her head to try and get it's attention. When nothing happened she shrugged and just hugged it; it gave a startled cry and started mouthing off using words she didn't understand. What the Jack was a ********, anyway? Either way she went scrambling back to Muka too, clutching the boil's arm.
"Very...and their language is very different! I am not sure I like them." But the first one was nice, she liked the large one with the Tiger Cat on his shirt.( Needle - F/12/ like dis )

She'd spent a little while scoping for her next victim human, but her attention kept getting snagged by the little rooms filled with stuff. All sorts of stuff. Some seemed to be toys, others clothes, others yet what seemed to be sports paraphernalia - and humans seemed to just walk in, pick something, talk to another human behind a table and leave with what they'd taken. How curious! Could it be a store? It was quite possible, Leo acknowledged, and yet, so weird! A human store!
Well, wasn't that just begging to be explored? With a silly little smile and a bounce to her step, Leo made her way towards the closest store - it looked to be a store of female underwear. Impractical female underwear. She goggled at all the lacy contraptions, impressed by the amount of work that had to have went into making some of these things. And wearing them, not least! She was looking at a particularly nice red-and-black lace set that seemed to be in her size when a Happy Human just seemingly appeared at her side. With a great big smile on its face. Okay, that was just kind of weird - were humans even capable of that kind of stealth?
"Hello sir!" The human even managed to keep any trace of sarcasm out of its 'sir'. "Can I help you?" It eyed the bra she was holding. "Looking for a gift, perhaps? All our staff can offer excellent advice on the latest fashions."
She blinked, disorientated for a few seconds. "No... no, I'm not looking for a gift." Were there even fashions in underwear? Apparently so.
"Is that so?" The human, if possible, managed to look slightly disapproving while still retaining its blinding smile. "Is there anything else I can help you with then, sir?"
Leo was pretty sure it was doing that 'sir'-thing to mock her. Undaunted, she continued onwards, "Is there a human here who needs a hug?"
The Happy Human stared at her for a few seconds, never losing its smile (this was starting to become creepy, OK). "I believe not, sir."
Okay, this time it was definitely mocking her. "Are you sure? No-one?"
"I'm quite sure. Was there anything else you required?" Its eyes were starting to look quite forbidding and from the quick glance the human shot the door, Leo figured it was about to throw her out. Humans. There wasn't any time left for dillydallying, then - dropping the bra, Leo clasped her arms around the Happy Human, closed her eyes and gave it a squeeze. There, that definitely counted as a hug. She chanced a glance at the human, noticing that it was finally losing its smile and looked like it was working itself up to a rather large bellow.
Quickly, before the human could start shouting, she unclasped her arms and zipped out of the store as fast as she could. The human didn't seem to be following her, but just in case she spent a few minutes hiding behind one of the larger plants in a display window.

It didn't take long to select her next human; a human that her handbook quickly identified as an Elder Human. Who were apparently very well-seen in human society, sharing their wisdom with the younger humans. How neat! Leo quite wanted to hear what it had to say, but it seemed to already be talking to a human scareling sat next to it. The scareling didn't seem very impressed with its elder, picking its nose and looking around with a bored face. Oh well, maybe there'd be a next time, and with that Leo just went in and hugged the human. Easy as spookies. The Elder Human didn't even pause in its sentence, just patted her on the back absentmindedly, although the scareling did stop to gawk at her. She gave it a wave before she went off to find her last human to hug.

The next human she spotted happened to be another Elder Human and, well, it'd gone so nicely with the first one, why not try for another? That in mind Leo put a smile on her face and bounced up to the human to give it a hug. Truthfully she wasn't sure this one even noticed she was there, because it didn't react in any way. A younger human some ways off did start shouting at her about pickpockets but, well, what could you do? Leo shrugged it off and got out of there before the younger human could reach her. Job well done!

Her mind instantly went to the red and black lace underwear set she'd found in the underwear store. And then she remembered that she wasn't exactly in favour with the Happy Human at the store, so maybe it was best just to pass. Even if it was really gorgeous lacework and she'd kinda, secretly, wanted something as feminine and dainty as the set had been.
But there was no crying over spilt milk. Going back there meant facing the Happy Human and frankly she wasn't sure she'd manage to escape unscathed if she did that.
So she needed another store. She scanned the ones in the vicinity, eye landing on the one that seemed to be a toy store. Hm. She didn't really want a toy, but it was as good as anything, she supposed. Alright, the toystore it was! Marching over with determined steps, Leo went right to work browsing the shelves. Everything was so colourful - the dolls, the action figures, the games.
Well, there wasn't really anything that grabbed her eye. The dolls were all nauseatingly pink which was, she guessed, kind of funny in an awful way. A doll it was, then; she grabbed the pinkest one she could find and made her way to the counter.
And promptly got told that what she had was not enough money for what she wanted to purchase. Great, fantastic. She glared at the doll and went to put it back on the shelf before picking an action figure from a different shelf. This one, surely.
Only not. Again she was told that what she had was way too little for the figure. Urgh.
Five similar experiences later she just gave up and asked the clerk to find something within her budget. The human came back with a teddybear, disgustingly pink and carrying a stylized heart bearing the words 'I Wuv U'. Okay fine, she'd take whatever at this point. Paying and getting out of there couldn't go fast enough, and pretty soon she was back at the fountain, just watching the crowds and trying to hide the teddybear that she'd unfortunately forgotten to ask for a bag for.

Heading back in the direction she'd come from, Levi began to get a whiff of someone familiar as a group of humans massed in one area. Appearance-wise, the small girl looked like something might be amiss about her given she was a human girl in the mall following her nose. Smells like rusty copper. It was what Levi would consider a rather pleasant smell. West? When she homed in on where the scent came from, Levi's nose wrinkled with a scowl. Yew! Who'd'ya think'ya'are? Where's- She paused, realizing what just happened here. It was West. If her human eyes got any wider, they'd match the rims of her giant glasses. Before she could comment any further, Professor QB began instructing them on their next task. With a small hand, Levi's human body jabbed West's in the side just to make sure it was him while she listened. Knew'I recognized that thar face a yers. It was different, but West's >[ face was pretty unmistakeable regardless of physical appearances.

This next part of the trip was as equally as strange as the first. Paper money. What in the even? It was so easy to rip but they weren't suppose to rip it. So Mei shoved the money into a pant's pocket before she began to wander past all the stores. Noting a particular costumed ghoul who seemed to be having a hard time in a store that sold what seemed to be strange toys? At a glance she wasn't too sure those horribly colored and loud things were no more than torture devices honestly. Some were cute looking but nothing really peeked her interest. So she moved on. Stopping as she came to a store that was certainly out of the ordinary. Upon closer inspection it seemed like a gag gift store or something. Huh well then. Wandering in farther she browed the aisles. Face turning a bajillion shades of red as she came upon certain shelves that need not mentioning. Suddenly she came upon a stand that was covered in lights and flashy things. For some odd reason she felt incredibly drawn to just stand and stare at all the flickering colors and strobeing lights. "Woooooooooowwwww...." Was all she could manage. She had to have one of these contraptions. Pulling the paper money out of her pocket she raised it above her head. "PARDON ME SHOP KEEP BUT I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ONE OF YOUR FLASHY THINGIES!!" The loud and odd way she addressed the young man with the spiked hair behind the counter turned a lot of heads. With a sigh her came over to her, looking at the twenty dollars in her hand. "The only one of these you can buy with twenty bucks is this..." Reaching out he plucked a small one off and held it out for her to inspect. "Its got a clip on the back so you can pin it to your shirt or whatever." Again she was mesmerized by the flashing colors and lights. "Great I shall take it!" Shoving the money at him she snatched the round little flashy clip on and pinned it to her shirt. Giving a frown as it stopped flashing then flicking it a few times with her finger, which started it up again. She turned on her heels and skipped out the door...which must have looked odd to anyone watching as an emo teenager was skipping. With a grin on her face she found her way to the fountain where Leo was standing by with a rather bright looking teddy bear. "What cha got there Leo? See what I got?" She flicked the little clip on again and it begun to flash again, a proud and accomplished expression appeared on Mei's face. Of course! Scary and cuddle! Byron situated himself in the booth, unsure of what to do with his legs as Belladonna was short, she fit everywhere! But this booth was apparently unaware of that and instead she ended up slightly cramped, but still somehow managed to look well enough for the pictures. Not that she couldn't handle it, but Belladonna let Mort handle the money and instead concentrated on the photos. They had to be perfect! What if they ended up as Mort and Belladonna? In any event, the witch had to look her best, just in case. Thankfully, they ended up as their disguises, which brought a wide smile to Belladonna's face. Err, Byron's face. Sure their "scary" faces were... More silly than scary, but that's ok! Totally oblivious to everything else, the witch only held the little strip of photo in her hand and stared at in awe. This was their first real trip together, their first real photo together and Belladonna's first trip into the Human World. This was her memento. To say she was satisfied would be an understatement, so she instead pocketed it safely and tried very hard not to skip to the bookstore. Though she wasn't sure exactly what he was looking for, Belladonna could at least help! Now that she was tall, Byron was able to reach the top shelf and pull out numerous books for Mort. It was all quite a lot of fun, but once Mort got really into looking, it gave Belladonna a moment to wander. The books in the psychology section looked pretty boring, so she took a few steps over to a nearby shelf covered with red and pink and black books. "Ooooohhhh~" She cooed as she pulled a few out and opened them to random pages. The first few pages caused her curious smile to fade, but she thought it was a fluke so Byron quickly shut the book and stuffed it back onto the shelf. Maybe the next one would be better? It wasn't. And for whatever reason, Belladonna couldn't figure out exactly what section she had gotten herself into, but with each new page her face grew redder and redder until she threw all the books back and dashed over to Mort. She didn't say anything, just stood there and stared at the ground, willing her face to turn back to normal and stop this silly blush. After a long moment she finally mumbled a small, "Humans sure are weird..."Yet standing there got boring, and while Belladonna was loathe to return to searching (what if she found other weird human things?), she at least wanted to look at something until Mort was ready. Thankfully for her, a nearby section held some colorful books and one caught the witch's eye in particular. "Mort! Errr, Mary! There are books on witchcraft here!" Byron made a quick beeline back to Mary and did a small jig and pointed back in the direction of the books.

Muka nodded with concern to Needle. This human face seemed much more pliable and his expressions felt strange. In curiousity he experimented a moment, making a series of goofy faces and poking his cheek with his free hand. "Strange beings. I will try an adult one now." He reached for his chin, to fluff his beard, but found only a soft round chin. "Hrmm.." The strix approached a woman who had just hung up from talking on what looked like a phone. She was very chatty on it but thought perhaps the chattier ones may be more personable! "Hello madam.. I.." "Oh well look at you! You look just like my nephew.. but he's a little taller and blonder. Do you know Academy Charter school? That's where he's going now. Just left 8th grade. Lookit your little suit it's so adorable!" "Ah.." Muka had barely a second to say anything or ask for a hug. "Do you get them tailored that way or did you get it in a store? Maybe in the mall? My little nephew would look sooooo great in a suit like that. Obviously not in the same size. Maybe a little bigger? He is growing so I wouldn't want him to grow out of it so fast. Don't you all just shoot up when you get that age..." Muka was staring. Possibly gaping. He lunged at her, squeezing, and her talking ceased. She let out an, "AWWWWwWwww you.." After the hug he fled again. "That was awful."

"It's me, Frost. Uller?" He sighed a little more and rubbed his face as he finally found the wolfos in disguise. "Do you know what this money is? What can I get with this?" He asked, blinking. "I think so, I saw a pair of shoes that looked rather neat at the store we just left." Mitsu seemed thoughtful, leaning into Shun as they walked. They got a few odd looks as they passed by a group of humans. Though they probably looked like an interesting match up.
"So how often have we come to the human world?" Mitsu asked, looking back at the group of human adults.

"I see," Shun nodded. He was never too interested in getting clothes or shoes in general, but he wasn't going to say anything on that. The Reaper also took note that they were receiving a few odd glances, but he paid them no heed.
"Not often. This is maybe our fourth time... but this is certainly the first for being in a crowded area like this and... being able to interact with real ones that aren't hunters," he murmured. He didn't consider hunters to be real humans, no.
Looking over the money some more, he contemplated what he might be able to get while looking around at a few various stores that were nearby.
"Hmm... Wait here for a moment," he requested before wandering off to one particularly colorful store. He lingered in there for a short while, asking a few questions, then managing to make a purchase. The currency was definitely strange an foreign, but it wasn't difficult to understand. He returned from the store, offering the bag he now held out to the lycan.
"This is for you. I apparently have 8-34 left..." he murmured while looking at the various coins he received aside from the new bills he had in turn. Why so many different things?
Inside the bag was a panda plush toy.

"Mrr." He was so engrossed in his book on human physiology that he didn't really pay attentional first. It was only after he flipped over the book and saw the price, which was faaar beyond the number 20, that Mort looked up. "Witchcraft? Huh. Any've it accurate?" he asked as he put the book away. "Or is it all rhyme lines for spells n' stuff?" Under his arm were two books, one about how humans overcame their fears, the other a secondhand coloring book of human anatomy; put together, Mort had calculated they would add up to just under $16. Though he didn't understand why all of the prices had .99 on them . . .
"Think saw some chocolates by counter, but don't have enough for 'em. Lots of funny things around for books store."
