without waiting for a real reply i raced out of camp and up the ravine until i scented dawnfrost and nightkit
i pushed my way through some bushes and saw nightkit with a proud look on her face in front of a mouse
nice catch nightkit! i mewed approvingly
i ignored the fact that she was out of camp
oh well i thought its not like anyone can stop her
maybe your ceremony will be sooner than expected i mewed
but then again following the code is important and i think theres something about kits being out of camp.hmm?
well its too late now do you mind if i hunt with you two? i mewed not really caring what the answer was

Crescent got up and then padded outside of cap. I'll hunt he decided as he walked. He heard the sound of some cats talking and went off in the opposite direction.

Thanks Nightkit mewed as she looked proudly at her catch. She looked at Dawnfrost waiting for her answer to Rainpaw's question.

Rainpaw im sure you remember being a kit and yearning to catch fresh kill. But we would be happy to have your company. now if youll excuse me i think i smell a mouse ready to be thunderclan prey... the she cat silently stlked behind some bushes. her whiskers twiching from the warm heartbeat comming from the mouse hiding under the holly bush. This kill will be quick and easy. she she cat rounded the mouse making sure she was down wind and she snaked her white paw out catching the mouse at the end on her claw, quickly delivering the death bite

i waited for dawnfrost to finish her kill
well dont we all? but i never had an exception though i mewed lucky nightkit
even though i tried alot i added quietly
wait i whispered
i smell squirrel
im gonna go after it
with that i stalked to the roots of a tree to a squirrel knawing on a nut and at the very right moment i pounced finishing it off with a quick bite to the neck
thanks starclan...and greythroat i though
with a purr of satisfaction i carried my prey back to our hunting party and waited for dawnfrosts reply

Yeah kithood is one of the best times of a warrior's life but i cant say i enjoyed waiting to be an apprentice. are we finnished so we can bring our fresh kill to camp? Dawnfrost stared at Rainpaw and Nightkit sitting next to eachother, I sure hope Rainpaw is Nightkit's mentor, i wonder when Willowstar will make her a warrior since she did such a good job fighting off that badger?

The cat follwed suit back to camp with her clanmates leading. the Forest was alive with the chittering of the animals on the forest floor, but leafbare was comming soon so they needed to hunt as much as they could and get Rainpaw moved into the warriors den and Nightkit in the apprentices den and crescent trained, i wonder who will Crescent's mentor?
((what time of year is it? because if its not comming soon to leafbare i can change my post))

as we entered the ravine i made my way to the fresh kill pile and dropped my prey.
i think dawns coming i said pointing my tail at the milky light on the edge of the horizon
i then padded over to greythroat and bent my head down to his ear
good bye i murmured
ill see you in starclan
i padded back over to dawnfrost and nightkit
should we give some of this to the queens and kits? i meowed
((do we have elders? cuz if we dont i could just bring it to the nursery))

Nightkit dropped her mouse into the fresh-kill pile. She looked over to Greythroat and then padded over to his body. May you have peace in Starclan. she mewed softly before turning back to Dawnfrost and Rainpaw.
Crescent
Crescent looked around the forest his eyes fell on a bird pecking at the ground. He quickly and quietly stalked it. He managed to get a foxlength away and then he leaped. He caught the bird and ended its life with a swift n** to its neck. He turned around and carried his catch back to the camp.
(No elders as far as I know.)

The thunderclan warrior watched as her two companions tailed over to the fresh kill pile and murmur the last words to Greythroat. And Crescent entered the camp, When will Willowstar make her decision? she thought a little impatient. As Nightkit and Rainpaw gathered around she mewed Yes why don't we take some fresh kill to the Queens and kits
