"For all I know it doesn't exist anymore..." she thought as she refered to her home. "I do not wish to stop but we can if you please. I am not yet tired." The thought of the orcs was what really told her to keep going. If one troop had come through, there was sure to be another. Isil would rather fight in the sunlight especcially in the woods.

"If you whish to continue on then I don't mind. I can deal with what I've been tould. After all you haven't change, just what I know about you has, and it hasn't change who you are." Sila realyl didn't have a preferance eaither way. She wasn't tierd, no. She had to have a lot of endurance to be a guard in Mirkwood, as the Elven patrols that she was on always roamed for miles around the halls. And when she had been promoted she had not allowed her skills to fail her eaither. She could continue on without problem. "If it pleases you then we can go on for much longer."

One of the orcs approached Elrothiel, leering at her, carrying a large flask of the same substance as before. Realising it would knock her unconscious she struggled, writhing and twisting desperately to evade him. It was a futile attempt and she knew it. With her hands tied behind her she didn't stand a chance. He seized her chin in a vice-like grip and yanked her head upwards. He tried to force her mouth open and she spat in his face. Several of the orcs behind him jeered at him instead, and furious, he struck her. Her head snapped backwards and she could already feel the skin bruising, the blow also made her slightly dizzy. Taking advantage of the few seconds when she was no longer struggling, he forced the bottle between her lips and the liquid went down her throat. It burned and once again she began to splutter. Satisfied, the orc retreated, and everything went blurry. Struggling to hold on to the world in front of her, she gulped down air. For a moment her vision cleared... and then the world went black again.

Isil looked down at the path again seeing that the orc tracks looked more recent- but a couple hours distant. "You may continue walking with me," she said as she knelt by a bush seeing some twigs were snapped but what was this? She also noticed smaller diffrerent shapped tracks thin like a womans. "Well well... If I can tell by these... the orc troop has a prisioner. Might we check it out being they are in our direction anyway?" she asked as she stood back up and continued on.

Van ran up the path the orcs had made thru the mountainside, following their fait tracks. Sometimes he would almost lose the tracks but he soon found them again. His black robes trailed behind him as ran, trying to make up lost time. He stoped after a half hour. He needed to walk some more. As he did, he noticed faint sounds in the distance, 'The orcs.' he thought to himself and went and climbed atop a large boulder to see if he could make out if it were really the party he was follwing.

After another few hours Elrothiel came round again. They had moved but were still close to the borders of Fangorn. She was tied to another tree but her head din't throb as much this time. She turned her head as much as she could. It was dusk and the orcs had started to make fires. They're stopping? She had always been told that they travelled at night and hid in the day but they appeared to be stopping for a while. She couldn't help being relieved. However they dragged or carried her during the day was leaving its mark - she was cut and bruised all over.

Sila nelt down to look at the tracks as well. They were definatly a womans. Probably a human woman, or a very injured Elven woman, but they were indeed female.
"We should go and see if we can help with all due hast. Even if it is not in the same direction as we are going." Sila was freinds with Elladan and Elrohir, the twins of Imladris, and she knew what had happened to their mother. She had seen what it had done to the family, she had seen how much pain it caused. Even if it was a human woman, she was a human and she was better than any orc.
"Let us go." She said, hastening off in the direction the tracks were going in.

For the next couple of hours Elrothiel tried to rest, taking advantage that they were staying in one place and that she wasn't unconscious. Like all elves she could rest her mind while travelling during the day, the elvish equivalent of sleep, but forced unconsciousness did not work the same way and she needed to keep up her strength if she was ever going to escape.
At the moment she couldn't really see how she would but she wasn't yet ready to resign herself to her fate, whatever that was going to be. Although the orcs had not touched her sword (as Naraithas was elvish), they had rummaged through her pack and taken the water skins and food from it and, she reflected bitterly, without those she wouldn't get very far. They had left most of her personal belongings alone - they didn't know what they were but knew they were probably elvish, so she still had everything that was important to her, but could think of no way to use it to help herself. She gave it up. There was no point worrying about how she would escape until she had a chance to.

I thought there was no direction preferance she thought to herself. If there was it must be that her mind was begining to sleep. Her eyes did not grow the least bit heavy and she was certain that her legs could hold up till morning at least but at times, usually in weird places or in the presence of strange things her mind would crash. "In these areas the group will probably go slower. It shouldn't take to long to catch up."

Van stood up ontop of the rocks to see better. It looked like it was the small party he was following, but they had joined up with a some what larger group. They were camped rather close to the edge of Mirkwood. They would have to be absolute fools if they beleived they could go all the way thru it. Van straped his spear to his side and held his left hand up and his right hand next to his heart, the orcish symble for neutrality. 'A few minuits of your time,' he called down to them in orcish. His orcish was getting rather well, as he had lived with orcs for several years and then bartered with them for another ten.

At the sound of the voice Elrothiel looked up. The language was definitely orcish even though she couldn't understand it but the voice was unfamiliar, contrasting with the harsh voices of the orcs. She looked up. Whoever it was stood on a large outcrop of rock and had their back to the sun. With no hands free to shade her eyes she had no idea what they were like at all but she suspected they were the enemy. The orcs were obviously wary, but they were not hostile. With a small sound of disgust, Elrothiel decided to ignore the figure as she couldn't understand them anyway.

The orcs were east enough to talk with. Van had lived several years with the orcs so he knew their customs. Van pointed at the elf that was bound in their custody. 'May I talk with her?' he asked the party leader. The orc just grunted. 'A little far out for an elf isnt it?' he asked her in common toungue.

"You could say that." she answered, also in the common tongue. She could see him more clearly now, he had dark skin, betraying that he came from the southern lands - most were allied with Mordor. "I'm a prisoner here; I don't get to choose where I go." She smiled humorlessly and continued to watch him. She was slightly annoyed that she had to look up at him, she felt as if she were at a disadvantage and didn't like it much.
"Who are you?" she asked suddenly, "I'd have thought you are even more far out. Your homeland must be hundreds of miles south of here."

Van laughed. 'If you tell me why they captured you, other than being an elf, I can gget you out of here.' he said to her in an under tone, so the orcs wouldnt hear. Although he was neutral he didnt like seeing catpives, especially for orcs, they tend to get hungry.

She shrugged. "Usual story I suppose. I was on top of the hill and they were coming up. I'm an elf. There was a fight though none of them actually tried to kill me. They seemed to want me alive for some reason. I was outnumbered by about 200 to 1 though so they just waited for me to run out of strength." She shrugged again. "I blacked out and woke up in one of their makeshift camps. Now every time they move they drug me so I can't make a fuss. That's it really." She watched his face thoughtfully but couldn't read his expression. He confused her slightly. He was obviously able to talk to the orcs but then he said he wanted to help her. Orcs and Elves had been deadly enemies for years - how could he be on both sides? Or even impartial for that matter. He was certainly unorthodox. She gave a wry smile - was she orthodox? If she had been she wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
