Victor's all TFO-ed... which is good so he can stand up to all the other crazies...'cause prior to JB pokin' interest, Victor didn't really... have any powers at all.
Which is funny, cause I don't know how he was supposed to stand up to SSJ Vahn in the first place.

I've made a career out of not needing crazy powers to stand up to people. Victor has minions and a floating island full of chaos and doom. Did King Bradley need powers to stand up to Mustang? No, he just whupped severe a** with his sword.

themightyjello Did King Bradley need powers to stand up to Mustang? Does the name Ultimate Eye ring a bell? :fwaps with newspaper: I'm sure being able to see moves from a mile away helped. So did being able to regenerate from scratch...and being a generally immortal hummunculus.

Maximos So did being able to regenerate from scratch... He never took a hit until Roy resorted to AoE. Interrupt-combat for the win. Don't give them time to attack, just commence raping. Maximos and being a generally immortal hummunculus. 1. He wasn't immortal, since he aged. The other hommunculi didn't, so he was NOT immortal. 2. If you speak of the damage immunity, then you're just stating a redundant point since this is the regeneration. See above. Moral of the story: There is no substitute for BADASS.

themightyjello Never mentioned in the anime. But it was used in the anime. Its how he saw the chimera hiding IN Al. He used it ALOT in the anime. He just never named it. Of course. See above. He didnt take a hit, like Itachi, because he reads it coming before its ever reached him. Read: Magic Eye. And even if he DID take a hit, he would just regenerate it away, if he could regen himself back together, he could regen a sword strike. Roy was fleebed. I give him badass points on the fact that he ruled the State Alchemists while tearing them apart, and no one knew until it was too late. Despite that every homunculus in the show had like super-reflexes, super-strength, and super-perception worthy of anyone who really wants to be an anime badass. He used his magic eye, but he never named it, nor did the show let you know that it possessed any real powers other than just the innate badass that he is. Clearly anyone with good senses and suspicion could have heard Al always talking to the girl, or heard her clamoring around in that big hollow pot. A villain/badass moreso than the rest. They do NEED reasons for why they do things. They're TOO COOL for that. Though yes. He would have won if not for fiction and the fact that his son was stupid enough to run INTO a burning building, TOWARDS a battle, and then LEAVE a scull on the floor after it had been made so very clear how important it was for it to NOT be in a burning building.
