Kenny, that picture is absolutely amazing. I don't know why exactly, but it's one of my favorite drawings I've seen on Gaia.

lilchibiusa I absolutely HATE this paper for senior seminar. I haven't gotten any sleep because of it, and it still isn't finished yet! xp It counts 40% of my grade, and so far, my paper is crap. crying That's one thing I always hated about English. I never found the subject hard, but every so often I'd have a paper to write, where no matter what I did, I was never pleased with it. I'd try and try, but I just couldn't get the words out to where I was pleased with it. Generally these were on books I hated or didn't see meaning in (like Catcher in the Rye) or a subject I simply didn't have an opinion on (or at least not a strong one). If I don't have something to say on the matter, even if it's something minute, I just can't write a decent paper. I could probably bullshit my way through the whole thing, but I don't like doing that. I have no problem writing a paper that I have an opinion on and adding a bit of bullshit here and there, that's all part of English. But writing something that's bullshit from start to finish, it's just not right. Not that I have any moral dilemma against handing something in I don't believe in for a grade. My moral dilemma comes from not believing in the words I'd write. I know the power of words, and while I don't expect anything I write to change things or to really make people think, the power's still there. So, if you don't feel like reading the above I'll summarize: I know how you feel. xd

I read it. biggrin My problem isn't finding what I want to say. My problem is being able to devote enough time to my papers because I always have so many due at one time. @_@

I just never have the opinions or critical English thinking wanted in the English classes.
I liked the reading, but do i want to analyze it? No.
Thanks everyone for the happy wishes <3 My brother and his girlfriend aim'd/facebook wall posted 12 minutes after the day changed to wish me a happy late birthday lol

Okay, 12 page paper and uber studying for a final all for Friday. I got somebody to cover my shift at work tomorrow so that gives me more time. I can do this, once it's done all I'll have left are finals and then the semester is over. Sleep, I am going to forsake you for a bit.

I ended up weakening my immune system and getting sick because I haven't been getting enough sleep thanks to my papers. I don't recommend cutting down on your sleep too much, because you might end up having to do your papers and study for finals while being sick like I am.

I know the feeling! blaugh Good job finishing so early!
I just wrote a 7 page short story in the style of Evelyn Waugh as an extra credit assignment for my Senior Seminar class. I'm presenting my seminar paper tomorrow. I'm kind of nervous about that. My finals start next week, so I'll have the weekend to study. 3nodding

My finals week isn't until next week either but one of my classes is having two finals so we're taking one of them this week and one next. Also, IT'S FRICKING COLD OUTSIDE.

How many more years are you guys going to be in school for before it all pays off?
And is it -30 cold? xD (whatever that would be in Fahrenheit)

Admiral Skippy How many more years are you guys going to be in school for before it all pays off? And is it -30 cold? xD (whatever that would be in Fahrenheit) Next year is hopefully my last. It's 14F but feels like -5F so I think that makes it -10C and -20C. Something like that. So not as cold, but still cold.
