lilchibiusa Admiral Skippy I'll probably just be better off playing every so often then. I don't really feel like getting extremely involved like that. I can go to the degree of making a thread for my tank and trying to get a pure thread. But I don't feel like monitoring my tank with a mule and everything else. I'll still make gold this way. Maybe not as much as fast, but I'll still make plenty. Not really. If you don't make sure your tank is out there, it won't be grabbed, so you won't make much. You need to plaster your tank all over the aquarium and other forums if possible. Trust me. I've spent enough time around people who use their tanks as their major source of income to know what I'm talking about. If you are always in extremely active thread with you know will bump your thread, monitoring your own becomes less important, otherwise you have to do it yourself. You might not even make enough to cover your investment. Kenny has an edge being a mod. People pay more attention to mods and their tanks because people usually thing that they are super cool/interesting/figure heads/royalty. For the rest of us with black usernames, it is harder to get people to care. I meant I'd still make gold just Booty Grabbing with no tank. You're right, it would take far too much maintenance to buy fish with gold, and to advertise my tank and do everything else I would have to. I'm better off not spending any gold, because even though it may take a bit longer, I'm still making nothing but profit with no risk. I mean it's taken me a year to go from 1.3mil to 1.4 mil, and then in a matter of two days I have 1.624mil.

THE kage And to think Brolly I sold my NM scarf at 4.8 mil when I bought it for 500k. ... I still miss it. ;-; That still hurts. gonk Actually what really hurts is how I sold my Ninja Band at 2mil (or 2.5, I don't remember) when I should've just held onto it. I realize now that unless you're right about to attain your goal, it's not worth it to sell anything like that. If I still had that Ninja Band, I could combine it, with the Kitsune Mask and the gold I have right now, and I'd probably be able to get a NM Scarf.

I guess we all have things that we regret selling. Fortunately, I haven't sold anything yet that costs more more than 100k to get back. I'm kind of a pack-rat. But still, I miss my Time Piece. I'm going to buy it back one of these days.

I hate trying to play the marketplace. I've always come out behind it seems. I bought the WTF Hat when it first came out for like 100k or something like that. Now it goes for 15k. And then I've bought a couple MC's because I figured they would rise quickly, and while some have, it's never been the 200k in two months rise that some items get. It's like the, 80k over a year. The only item I'm out ahead in selling, which really doesn't amount to beans, is Black Gloves. Even with the new marketplace people just don't get it. I bought them from the store for 220g, and I would sell them in the marketplace, even though it says "Buy from a shop for 220g", for 400-600g. But that became pretty tedious pretty fast, so I stopped.
The thing that's bothering me right now is that I've looked in my inventory and it seems that three items are missing that I have absolutely no recollection of selling. My Bone Helm, my Staff of the Angels, and my Demonic Pitchfork. There's not a whole lot I can do about it now, but I think once I finally get my NM Scarf I'm going after those again.

I'm rather surprised that the WTF hat dropped so much. I thought that it was going to be a popular one. confused I guess no one wants knock offs of the expensive items anymore because now they can booty grab their way to owning the real thing.

I'm turning 20 this year, and it's something that's making me think. Normally I don't care about my age. When I turned 18 I was like "Oh look, I'm 18, that's great. Whatever." But something about being in my twenties, living two decades, it's got me feeling...I dunno.

I can't get over just how broken this system is. Over the past weekend I've made roughly 300k (probably a bit over). It took me almost a year to make 100k through posting, and in a matter of days I've made triple that.

XD; @lil Thanks :3 Yah it's odd. Just... the thought of 20 makes me go OH GOD OLD. Edit: BTW any Starcraft knowledgables. UCI was in the line up of colleges joining the Collegiate Starleague 1up (CSL+). We made it to the playoffs with 2? 3? rounds of upsets. UCSD keeps going "Once we got 3-1ed in the regular season we left nothing to chance. They didn't meet our A-team." And then our last team (full of badmouthing but I have to say their rap was quite... interesting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_gzwnJAFSk ) University of Victoria was 3-2 with my hero team coordinator whooping their ace. That was awesome. razz So they're going "wahhh and UCI was just our practice up to the finals"

Yeah, Booty Grab definitely pumps a lot of gold into the economy which is why things are so crazy expensive, that and just user greed, but the excess gold is a contributing factor.
Things I've sold that I regret....the '03 Halloween set, still haven't gotten all of those back, and one of my September '03 letters. I don't know why I ever convinced myself to sell it. Even if I had two it still was a crazy thing to do.
HAPPY BDAY KAGE. What do you want as gift?
Also, I got my first cute arts from the Modmas thing: http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc179/Pocham25/scan0010-1.jpg

Happy Birthday Kage! biggrin
Being 20 isn't anything special. I'm 23 now, and I feel like I'm on my way to the nursing home. Maybe it's because I'm older than most of my classmates now. sweatdrop
@Kenny - Cute art! heart
