I live in BC, Canada (southern part, right near the BC-Washington border), and we're still getting sun. No snow yet, but it's getting pretty cold in the evenings. In my boyfriend's hometown, about an 8 hour drive away, the ground is frozen there and they're expecting snow any day now.
I -hate- winter and so the less snow the better for us. It looks like we're not going to have much of a fall though, seeing as how the leaves have barely started changing colour but yet it's started getting cold and we might have snow soon.
Summer, come baaaaack! gonk

Uncle Kenny Is it Thursday night yet? gonk Why? Are you looking forward to something on Thursday? @Skippy, it might be crazy, but it's absolutely true. @Nickolita, our leaves haven't changed colors yet either. They usually turn sometime in November, but when they do turn, it's absolutely beautiful! heart

To what I know, there's no animu club at my school.
Though I probably wouldn't go to it even if there were. xD;
@Skippy: Archery is awesome. I have a longbow in my basement that I never really use anymore.

Have fun on your break Kenny! biggrin
@Sarcastic - Why wouldn't you go to it? It's always nice to know anime fans irl. heart
@Skippy - More power to you if you can do it. We did archery in PE, and I was awful at it. sweatdrop I didn't even have enough force on it to make it stick in the target. xp

I had a pretty bad experience with the last anime club I went to during highschool. They were a pretty obnoxious bunch that thought that everyone liked "Love High-na" and stuff like that.
Plus their blatant misuse and mispronounciation of Japanese terms made me just walk up and out of there for good.
I do know a lot of anime fans IRL, but I meet them all during photoshoots at cons.

I've been nonstop busy for the last 5 days or so and I'm running off to work now as I type this so it's like burning_eyes I swear I didn't set him on fire this time! @Sarcastic: Yeah that's one reason I wouldn't have gone to an anime club even if there was one when I went to school. Too many of the anime fans I knew were morons. Which isn't to say they were bad people, because I was friends with them, and I would talk about anime with them, but I just as I hate it when people butcher the English language, I hate it when they butcher any other language. And they could get rabid over certain shows. @Lil: Oh I can do it. xd When I went to go test bows the other day I always had a pretty nice grouping. The bows weren't sighted in, so if I aimed at the bullseye I might hit three inches lower, but what's really important is where the shots land, and I generally had a pretty tight grouping. Hell, I haven't shot for about a year and I ended up splitting the knock on one of the arrows. It's so much fun! Except for the next day when your shoulder hurts because you're not used to pulling back 60 pounds with pretty much just your shoulder for two hours, BUT HEY!

You are not allowed to be old while I'm still older than you are! blaugh And why are you setting Kenny on fire? sweatdrop @Sarcastic - I know some people like that. It drives me absolutely insane. I mean, it's not that difficult to look up the proper pronunciations of words. I also know some rabid Inuyasha fangirls. @_@ @Skippy - I'm glad that you're so go at it! Maybe some of your skill will rub off on me just by chatting with me. lol

Why wouldn't we set Kenny on fire? =/
@Lil: Just need a steady hand is all. Actually it was kind of funny, I went to EB Games yesterday and one of the employees (off duty) was playing the archery game. He got 110 the first game and the second 107 and was super happy since I guess that's pretty hard to get. I've never played the game and I haven't touched a Wii in several months, and after two games I got 88 the first and 99 the second. I know I didn't beat them, but they were still impressed. xD
