Arell growled, kicking himself for quitting smoking. "An' if it weren't for dat Red bird dat keeps showin' up every time I gotta work, yo' a** woulda been good as mounted on my wall." he said, his low, raspy Cajun voice semed ominous and threatening. "Howevah, you hate mobsters, an' I ain't a fan of 'em either, we may as well make a truce of it." he said. C.J. drawing an easy breath of relief.

"That was slightly unexpected." the young Marylander said. Dundee tried to say anything but Antigua nudged him. It still felt a bit tense between Big Daddy and Arell. It wasn't that Arell didn't LIKE the guy, unlike his rocky acquaintanceship with the "Red Bird" he mentioned, he just didn't trust him. At ALL.

Hex on the other hand, remained calm as ever, surprising for a bounty hunter who trained the boys. He shook his head, mentally comparing his apprentices to Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. They even LOOKED the part a little bit.

((enter Smitty from Home Sweet Home))

However, just outside the graveyard, a lanky mafioso with a weasel-esque face was slinking around the graveyard. He heard some voices in the graveyard, a low, raspy Cajun growl. It almost sounded like Arell. Smitty dove behind one of the tombstones, hiding just out of sight from the camera and waited. I'm not about to let some kid from the Valentine Family get my quarry! he thought. The moment Crystal and Arell would leave the base, he planned to distract the big Cajun in a gunfight and kidnap Catgirl in the confusion, but for now, he had to play the waiting game.

Big Daddy simply nodded, "Obviously, we got off on the wrong foot earlier. How about we call it even, and get down to business. From what I'm been finding out, D'Amico and Falcone are pulling their resources to strike at their respective enemies in both Gotham and New York. We'll need to strike again, but we'll have to pick their organizations apart. And since they'll be looking for us.... What if... We casually let their enemies know what's going on? We can pick them apart in the confusion."

"Wait, so get 'em like Hatfield and McCoy and then go in and take 'em out in the mess?" C.J. asked.

"It seems rather comprehensible, almost Shakespearean in how it would be handled, but are we sure that it would work?" Dundee, of all people asked. Arell and C.J. both looked at him, rather impressed with it. He sounded a little intelligent.

"I think there's somethin' wrong with his throat." Hex said.

Big Daddy chuckled and smiled, "That does sound like something out of Shakespeare, doesn't it? Now the main boss that Falcone's wanting to remove is Rupert Thorne. He's gotten too powerful for Carmine's tastes. Also, I believe he's carefully looking at Ozwald Cobblepot, aka the Penguin -- either to remove him or take control of his business making him a puppet. D'Amico is planning to remove the Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin in New York. This way, both Falcone and D'Amico have sole control of their respective cities."

"Huh, sounds like something Razolli would do." Arell said, shaking his head. C.J. smirked and was just about to say something when . . .

"Well, if we can ju-u-u-ust get a way to get the villains in each city to turn on each other, then we can handle the mafiosos. Mostly we can use trickery to get the main villains to believe that the other mafia man is planning to take their power, then get the main two mobsters to get the other to think that the other wants all the marbles." Dundee explained, logistically making sense! Arell, Hex and C.J. were all slack-jawed.

"Did that just come outta . . . ?!" C.J. asked.

"Yep." Hex replied. Arell was inspecting the pipe Dundee hit his head on earlier. He heard of losing brain cells when being hit on the head, but GAINING?!

[Enter ABIGAIL O'CONNOR from UNKNOWN]

In another part of Gotham, one well away from the other metahumans present in the city, a bright flash of light appeared in a warehouse, and when it faded, a small girl in her early teens was standing in its place.

Abby O'Connor dusted off the dress she was wearing. So Danu had seen fit to teleport her randomly somewhere, did she? Oh, well... Abby tossed her long red hair back and blinked, trying to adjust to the dim light of the warehouse.

"Hello?" she asked. "Anybody hoooooome? Aiden? Ya here, bro?"

[Enter TWO-FACE]

Suddenly, the warehouse seemed to awaken with activity in response to the sudden beam of light. In a matter of seconds, a group of thugs busted out of the front doors and immediately circled the little girl.

"You lost, gal?" one spoke, "You picked the wrong place to get lost, you did."

The thugs then made an opening, an entrance for someone to enter. It was then the sound of a coin flipping in the air was heard. The footsteps became louder and louder as the figure made his way in to confront the girl. The entire left side of his face and body was shrouded by the shadows, though he seemed to look like a ordinary man.

"Who are you, little girl?" the man asked, still flipping his coin.

Abby cringed a little bit as the thugs surrounded her; she didn't like this situation, at all. She looked to the man who was half-enshrouded in shadow, and said timidly: "Abigail O'Connor, sir... I'm not from around here," she said, her Connacht brogue quite evident. However, "not from around here" didn't even come close to describing the whole truth.

"Abigail, huh? You really shouldn't be here of all places. Lots of bad guys live here, y'know. Only scum, low-lives, and criminals make their homes here," the man said, keeping a somewhat calm tone.

He stopped flipping his coin, turning over to thugs around her to disperse. They did as told, without hesitation.

"Perhaps I should introduce myself. The name's Dent," the man paused for a moment, stepping forward, revealing the other side of his body. The left side was horribly scarred, a mixture of 2nd and 3rd degree burning. The left side of his suit was black, opposite to the white on his right side."Harvey Dent."

Abigail seemed to shrink back a little as Two-Face neared. "I-it wasn't my choice..." she said softly. "I-I was sent here by... by Danu, the Celtic mother-goddess. She said I had to find my brother. I still don't quite believe it, myself... but i-it happened."
PostPosted: Wed Dec 14, 2011 7:43 pm

Two-Face gave a stern gaze to Abigail, after hearing her absurd story. Two-Face's thugs, upon hearing her story, couldn't help but let out shouts of laughter.

"Celtic mother-goddess? Kids these days and their story telling..."

Harvey took a glance over to his coin, the burnt side. He gave a small chuckle before flipping it, landing on its clean side.

"Sorry, kid, but your brother has a better chance being dead than being here alive," he remarked.

Oddly, this seemed to embolden Abby. She stood up straight, and said: "Well, I guess you don't know my brother. A-and-- and if Danu didn't send me here, then how d'you guys explain me appearin' here in a flash o' bright light, huh? I wasn't here 30 seconds ago!"

Two-Face let out a sinister laugh at the young girl. After all, this wasn't the first time someone ever stood up to him, it always ended with it being their last mistake.

"You got a lot of nerves, kid. Its kids like you that make me sick!" he said.

He glared at the young girl for several more seconds, before giving off a small chuckle.

"How about this... lets flip for it..." he said as showed her the clean side of his, "heads", "Heads, you're free to go and can try to find that brother of yours. If he is alive that is," he then turned it over to the burnt side, "tails", "Tails... you'd wished you never came here..."

Abby hesitated a moment. Danu had said that she was blessed by the Dagda to always have good luck... but she honestly was not sure if she'd be lucky; in fact, this would be how she would feel no matter how many times her "good luck powers" protected her, because she didn't know they were constant for her as well as others.

"F-fine. Heads, then... That is, if you decide you'll feel like a man if ya get tails. Killin' a young girl, aye? I bet ya sleep real well at night, ya sick b*****d."
