"Augh!" I exclaimed as a stabbing pain in my head made me kneel over. I grasped my head and my eyes went wide. Suddenly a stabbing pain in my stomach came, too, and I tried to look up a my friends to see Mira holding a picture of a doll that looked like me.
"It was in the files I found. Turns out they didn't want to make a remote control for you, but they did want you to do as they said." Mira explained.
"Augh!" Another stab. "So they made a voodoo doll?" I winced as another stab happened. "The laptop, hand me the laptop! I said, seeing the screen go all white with black font.
It read:
"We found you, and I am not letting you or my other children go again. I want you home, safe with me. I'll tell you your little information if you come, but if not.... Lets just say your 'doll' isn't the only one I have, Darktres Elizabeth Robotnik.

he grabbed her arm and put his hand on her shoulder "hey are you ok?" he said read the labtop "whats he mean by more?"

Shadow and Mira started reading simultaneously, hitting their heads.

"alright calm down we can handle it" goren said looking to shadow "its gonna take alot more then some parlor trick to bring us down!"

I smiled, "You're right!" I said with new confidence. Then a sickening crack and sharp stabbing pain along with tearing and the unwanted sound of my own scream overwhelmed me.
"Mommy?" Mira was horrified.
"Darktres! Your leg!" Shadow looked like he'd just been stabbed by a ghost. I was suddenly very glad Goren was holding me. "I think we may be a bit delayed..."
My leg was broken, and the pieces torn so two thirds of it were dangling off what was left.
The screen now read:
"Parlor trick? That must be one sick parlor."

goren looked at the screen and reached with one hand and disarmed the cameras so that he couldnt spy on us "darjtress hang on" he said he tore off a sleeve of his shirt and teid it around her wound "that sould keep the bone toghter and keep it from bleeding out"

I couldn't believe I hadn't fainted yet; I was naturally a fainter, I usually fainted at the drop of a hat!
"Can you make the pain stop?" I asked. My eyes wide with panic and pain, I wished I could at least feel the firm wrapping around my leg so it wouldn't feel as if it were still falling off.
"I can put you in Chaos Control until we can fix the situation." Shadow said. "But you may not be able to come back for a long time, or the warp may not last long enough."
"Even a moment of relief...." I fainted.

"welll the best thing for us to do right now is retreat but something tells me sicko over here isnt about to let that happen" goren sid pulling his blade "shadow if we hurry we might be able to get the dolls and reverse this"

Shadow nodded.
"Alright. I carry Darktres, you carry the laptop." Shadow said. "Mira get in the ship."
Mira went in the ship.
The screen now read:
"Yes, come. Please. A minion got hold of the controller, and Darktres may not last long. Hurry."

The screen replied:

goren typed back "No you were to stubborn to admit your mistake and it has come to haunt you" goren turned to the path and grabbed his swords handle "are you ready?" he said looking at shadow while he had pure hate in his eyes causeing them to turn his eyes red

"Lets go." Shadow agreed, carrying an unconsious me over his shoulder like a potato sack.
The laptop made a sighing sound and said:
"The mistake was the government saying you were misakes. When was the last time you failed at something? When did you last find someone who was as smart as you? As powerful? You and your siblings are the closest to perfect that anything gets, you just weren't naive enough for the government to use."
