You need to be 18 to win a Wii? That's crap.
Also, I think all items you win from the Daily Chance you should be able to sell to the stores. I've got flowers and newspapers and I can't do anything with them.

It's considered a lotto game for legal purposes so like any lotto, you have to be the age of majority wherever you live in order to claim the prize.

Apparently Gaia's had to cover their a** several times lately due to legal stuff. But it's still crap.

Well it's not really covering their asses, more as it's doing what they have to just to do the promotion in the first place. Such as why Canadians have to take a test if they win because Canadian lotto laws state it has to be educational in some way, and why Quebec is excluded because lotto laws there require a $10,000 fee to hold a contest xp I mean, do away with laws and there'd be nobody complaining but unfortunately that's not really a possibility.

>_< I get to go test drive the car I want today.
@ Kenny/Brolly : It sucks, but I'd rather have the contest with restrictions than no contest at all. :3 There's a nightly radio contest on the local rock/alt station that's got to turn down winners all the time because they're underaged.

o_o Interesting conversation I had with my mother this afternoon. Quote: Mom: Ooh, I might take your sister to that store sometime. I hear they have all kinds of cute stuff she'd like. Ichigo: .... Mom.... do you know what they sell at that store? Mom: Oh yeah, all kinds of neat little novelty stuff. Ichigo: ... Yeah. Novelties. Novelties a thirteen year old doesn't need to see. Mom: ??? Ichigo: Most of the stuff they sell there is... isn't for children Mom: Oh, I know they've got all kinds of candles and decorative stuff, but... Ichigo: They sell dildos and bongs, mom. Mom: Where did you learn those words? Ichigo: Don't change the subject.

x_x So I just finished the first quarter of the body my Marxist literary criticism of Babbitt, and it's already 10 pages long without the cover, illustration, or introduction paragraphs.
Someone remind me why I took AP Lit. Really. I have no idea.

o_o My sister's retarded.
I was in bed resting because I'm home sick today, and when she got home she saw my car in the driveway and assumed I'd open the door for her. So she stood on the porch for almost 20 minutes ringing the doorbell before she decided to reach in her back for her key and unlock it herself. Then she came in and bitched at me about what a horrible person I am for not looking at the clock and making sure I had the door unlocked for her (because I'm totally her mommy. i don't even know what time she actually gets home because i normally stay after school for an hour or so every day). So even though I'm sick I should have to get up and open the door for her because she's too helpless to open it herself like she does every day.
I love how she bitches at me all the time for being so lazy and then pulls s**t like this.
On a related note (in that it further exemplifies this child's sheer stupidity), here's her 2007 Christmas list:
-Cell Phone (she talks on the phone for like six hours every day rolleyes i'm not even exaggerating) -iPod (careless with electronic devices) -Chi Straightener (costs like $100; she goes through a new straightener approximately once every six weeks) -A bunch of stupid overpriced clothing -Laptop (so our parents can't see her posting slutty pictures of herself on Myspace; I don't even have a laptop, and I'm a college-bound student x_x)
In other news, I officially qualify for approximately $55,000 a year in student aid because of my ACT score. @_@ Hello, new car.
EDIT - "War on Drugs" by Barenaked Ladies sounds way better at 2x normal speed. o_o

It makes me glad I don't need a straightener.
Why exactly does she go through one every like month? >_>
Huzzah.
