I went to the midnight premiere to see Toy Story 3 with a group of my friends. It was SO worth the 11 years of waiting. heart

Lady Pyre Kilana Lady Pyre Bah... quoting yourself doesn't work towards achievements. I wish they were retroactive - I'm not feeling very talkative, lately. I know the feeling. I had to haunt the chatterbox for a little while with a couple people to get the quote and 50 posts one. Now, I see there's one that is "have a thread you created reach 500 replies" and I'm just like feh, I'm not that dedicated, seriously. And nobody wants to chat with me that much, since I use IRC and stuff to talk to most people. You had to work for the 50 post one? I thought that it counted your previous post count for that, but you had to post once to "activate" it. Hmm... 500 replies. I wonder how my booty grab bump thread is doing. Of course, that achievement isn't even unlocked, yet. Why can't quoting in guilds work? gonk Ah, no, I meant 50 replies, not 50 posts in general. There's achievements for having a thread with 50 replies, then you can unlock one for 500 replies. gonk And I think there's one for getting quoted 100 times, too. It's obnoxious. I think I give up. Besides that, the "Cart Raider" one won't work for me, and I've checked every DC cart for three days now. It's supposed to work after two. Also, I've had my thread in CB with 0 replies for well over 24 hours, and it hasn't granted that achievement for me either. Someone else has received that achievement who created their thread at pretty much the exact same time. Meh. Just another half broken, pointless feature. I like the idea, but it just doesn't seem worth it if it barely works. Guilds should count.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything about the achievements until reading everyone's posts.
I want to see Toy Story 3! I love Toy Story. <3

To try out achievements, go to Gaia Labs - http://www.gaiaonline.com/labsIt's basically just like Xbox 360 achievements, no real purpose, do pointless things, get points. xD For example, there's basic ones new members could do, like dress up once, save four outfits, etc, and then there's some more advanced ones that are like "have a thread you started with 500 replies", "get quoted 100 times", etc. And it's still glitching on me, I'm so irritated. >_>; I know it's just a silly feature, but it still makes me mad that it hasn't worked for me but other people okay. Unrelated, I went and saw Toy Story 3 yesterday~ It was awesome. I'd probably see it again before it leaves the theaters. Not really worth 3D, to be honest though. At least in my opinion. The trailers always seem to have more 3D than the movie itself. That's how I've felt about most of the last 3D movies I've seen, so I don't know why I keep trying. rofl

I thought for sure there would be greifers combing every inch of chatterbox to make sure no thread went without replies. rofl And I made a new glow thread so those posts will count towards my popular thread achievement. I didn't check beforehand, but apparently I was glowing when I posted it. xd

XD I may have just been lucky, but what I did was wait until peak traffic times, then I made a topic with the title "Closed - Setting Up" and only typed the word "reserved" in my post. I probably just got lucky. There is always some asshat who will post for the sole reason you obviously don't want them to. xp
