Thistle7 I hear you. I have two similar alarm clocks, lol. One is seven and the other is one. ^_^ I'm lucky though. They tend to let me sleep till at least 7 am. If I post before that in the morning it is generally because I have been up all night/morning and then some pulling one of my infamous 48+ hour no sleeps.

And you managed to keep the same alarm clock for 6 years!? I tend to smash mine to bits by then! blaugh

@Raj: Thanks! whee

Okies, I think I'll go now. Hope everything goes well tonight. I'm one of those persons who have arranged that party. That's the reason why I have to go. I just hope I won't freeze my self in there. It's finally starting to get wintery in here. whee

wintery... I was just this morning marvelling at how it is November and the weather here is sunny and mid 70's. Oh the suffering....

Thistle, consider yourself lucky! We're still pushing 90 down here! eek Speaking of, I should nap soon, before the weather gets warm…

Ick, 90!? That sucks, it was raining here yesterday and today it's like 75. So when is like the politically correct time to put up your Christmas tree? I know Christmas officially begins on the first week of November (at least the stores think so), but I was thinking of putting it up at the end of this month. What are you guys doing?

It was 85 and raining on Sunday… crying

And I tend to put up my tree sometime after Thanksgiving weekend. Definitely not before the 1st if it's live! eek Nothing like a dried up tree to catch fire!

Ick, 85 and raining? I couldn't handle it. The only thing I like about summer is the hot nights, you can moon bathe. During winter it's too cold to strip down, but in summer it's perfect. And as for winter, well it's non existant. You know I've never seen real snow? Only on TV and in pictures, funny huh?

redface Um....I have a fake tree so it won't dry up. YES! I know it's blasphemy, like having boxed mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving instead of real ones. But it's so much easier just to put back in the box in the shed for next year. And even though the 6 ft fake ones are like $120 it's a one time fee while your buying a new tree every year. I have kitties that like to chew on trees too, but they won't chew on the fake one, less mess. Okay it's settled, I'll put it up after Thanksgiving. People in my neighborhood already had theirs up the day after Halloween and their Mexicans. Does Mexico even have Christmas, lol? rofl

wow blaugh blaugh yes we do, and well if I remember correctly there are like a bunch little catholic holidays having to do with christ's birth all throughout november and december I think they are called posadas...hmm but those don't start until december, but theres others too so thats probably why they have their trees up already. And thats all for mexican culture 101 today, join me next time when i discuss the differences between a taco, tostada, burrito and chimichanga blaugh blaugh rofl *cough cough ahem* omg I know theres a reason I only lurk and not post redface
