I wanted to see the Netherlands game! crying
I did see Paraguay and Italy. Kinda ehhhh. 1-1. I wanted Paraguay to win. They had more possession of the ball for the first half and Italy in the last.
That's a great cover on the Post, too. XDD

In a four hour shift I answered the phone more times than I think I probably ever have...and nearly all of the calls were "do you have the iPhone 4G in-stock? When can I preorder it?" x.x
edit: I am ridiculously behind on this but omg Hetalia is adorable. <3
edit2: *spaz spaz spaz spaz* His parents bought a house and he's hinting that they could rent it out "or, you know, have people they LIKE live there..." and he wants me to come over and look at it. Oh geeze oh geeze, will not get excited or get my hopes up that they want us to live there. Will not will not too late. x.x

So...yeah...I finally got my hacked account back.
See if I ever offer any of those ******** a free Fremere again. I spent my 6th Gaiaversary locked out of my profile.
AND they got my mule too.
AND they tried to make my main account some sort of RIG item hideaway.

Hey, on the plus side, France managed not to defeat themselves.
And yes, the Swiss: that was one ******** up goal. I kind of felt sorry for the Spanish dude who got his face stomped on.
And I've never seen a goalie get red carded before. So that was neat. I kind of wanted to see them not be able to replace him just to see what kind of crazy s**t they'd try to score on and what crazed ideas they'd do to try and defend the goal.

Dx And I just read your journal, I had no idea it happened after you posted in SCAS about your giveaway. There have been a ton of hackings in there. Makes me nervous, too. -o-; Oh well. I have complex passwords on both my email and my Gaia account. And I don't think anyone knows me well enough to answer my security questions. I guess that doesn't make me impervious, especially since I'm sure you didn't have simple passwords either, but nothing's happened to me yet. *knocks on wood*

I completely forgot about my Gaiaversary until I read this post. Too late, now. I guess it's not that exciting to me, ********. Why is my internet being so slow? It's running worse than a 56k.

I had to haunt the chatterbox for a little while with a couple people to get the quote and 50 posts one. Now, I see there's one that is "have a thread you created reach 500 replies" and I'm just like feh, I'm not that dedicated, seriously. And nobody wants to chat with me that much, since I use IRC and stuff to talk to most people.

If achievements are here to convince people to participate fully in the community, well, guilds are part of that. They're a way for people to make the overwhelming size of Gaia manageable. As such, they're no less "community," no less participatory, than posting in a regular part of the forums is.

All good points, kermi. I think they just can't be bothered to update guild coding so it can function with the rest of the site. I mean... it's pretty much stayed the same since guilds came out ('04?). Still, you'd think there would have at least been an achievement for joining a guild. Although I'm kinda glad there isn't, so I don't have to look for one to join only to quit it a few days later.
I want to do something with the alchemy hat. *fiddles with inventory*
