"Clan? I watched as it got destroyed..... I am the last."
Focht was learning something from Renku, the use of the word clan most likely meant he was a demon. He didn't feel he had much to fear from anyone in the area except one person, only because he couldn't bring himself to harm that person.
"I am going to hazard a guess; that wolf found what you were looking for."

"Looking for? No, I am quite aware of where it is." He found no reason to not indulge himself a little allowing himself to gloat. "I am just. . . trying to break it's spirit a little." He turned away again, seemingly staring into nothingness.
By now Kuro would be back in her den, protected by her barriar, she had little time left though and her injuries would most likely take a couple of days to heal. By then, the moon would be full and she would be completely helpless.

"Oh goodie...... hunting someone I see...."
He was not amused but wasn't going to get involved unless things came to him and made him involved. Focht rolled his eye to go along with the sarcasm in his voice.
"Just a warning for you stranger, if I get involved things will not go as you plan."
With that he turned and started to walk back to the building, he was expecting there to be some kind of response to that comment. What that response would be was unknown, but as far as he was concerned, it wouldn't matter. Things had changed, and so had he.
"I guess not much has changed around here after I left....."

Renku had chosen not to respond to Focht's comment, getting into needless battles did not entice him in the least. He had come for one thing and he wanted her as spiritless as possible.
He now knew that Kuro did not socialize with many people in the surrounding area, Focht had said that he didn't meet many who spoke wolf and Kuro was half-wolfdemon. How foolish of her, there was no one to protect her, and with her elven night approaching she would be rendered defenseless. Due his very recent attack, she would not be in any physical condition to strengthen her barriar. That would mean that she would start to run as soon as physically possible.
He smirked, he had always liked the chase, the way the prey's eyes seemed to dim as they were taken down. He would take the light from Kuro's eyes and smash it into a million peices.

Cole Eastcott "Only how he tastes, tis my only guide. Though I know you are not he, do you mind if I take a nibble? To nibble is a fine connoisseur's greatest pleasure. A taste here, and tidbit there, why I may one day know them all and cherish each's memory." He looks eager, and continues to speak as Sai enters, his head turning to eye the newcomer with the same stare as earlier. Focht didn't like Renku, mostly for what he seemed to be doing. It was hard sticking to his new way of thinking, not getting involved unless directly asked or it fell into his lap. One thing he did like was the fact that Sai seemed to be moving in his general direction. Maybe it wasn't as bad as it seemed for him, not getting involved meant he could talk and not always be running off to fight. In the end, only time would tell if this was better for the BC as a whole or not. Focht stopped by where his shirt hung, using a corner of the sleeve to wipe the little bit of blood off his cheek from earlier when his sword broke. Looking at the work he had done and then over to Arrogance who seemed to have begun rambling. "A nibble of what? I am pretty sure that if you mean me, you will not like the taste one bit."

Sai heard voices and turned her head in that direction, the breeze moving the petals within, shifted and swepted through the ashes towards the voices. The petals whirled around at Focht's Feet, as they dropped onto the ground. Sai was still a good distance away and have yet noticed that he was hearing His Voice.

Focht looked down at the swirling petals, watching them circle his feet. Maybe he was getting soft, but for some reason he cracked a slight smile. When she did finally see him, there were signs of ash from the trees brushing against him; his hands were very well coated in ash; his shirt was hanging off of one of his weapons stuck in something a fair distance away.

When Focht came to her sight, She stopped softly to a gentle stroll. Seeing focht is like christmas for a child, Her heart beats excitedly. She took several steps towards him, as her eyes trailed his ashed body from his surroundings. She remained quiet as she didnt know what words to say, it has been quite a while since she has seen him last.

Focht continued to smile, guessing she was close enough to see him now from the sound of her footsteps. He didn't turn to look at her though, remaining focused on the job at hand. The one delimma he had currently was the best way to get the roof and everything else to fit together without the use of nails. Cutting pieces to fit into each other was the best idea he had come up with so far, but exactly how to do that was escaping him for the moment. Being distracted didn't help either.

Focht was right not to like Renku and while Renku seemed rather calm at the moment the rage and contained violence that was his very being stormed underneath his almost amused expression. Renku stood there for quite awhile, giving Kuro the chance to run. He uncurled his fingers, each bone cracking almost eerily, the sound carrying easily across the garden.
He felt the fast paced aura running in the forest and his cold heart gave a shuddering leap in excitement. So, she had gained use of her limbs faster than expected. He smiled and began his walk to the forest, there was no need to rush, by the end of the night, she would be his.

Focht noticed Renku leaving but decided it was not his place to get involved. Sitting down in a kneeling position facing the structure he was working on, resting his hands on his thighs with palms facing up. He closed his eyes and bowed his head, relaxing. If he was going to get his current project done right, he needed to think. His tail curled in next to his left side and his wolf like ears flattened as he tried to meditate and clear his head.

Sai saw Focht plain in her sight, She wasn't around much to be able to hide. She did though walk by a pile of tree stumps, and glanced at them. She didnt know what to say, or how to approach him. In a sense she was scared, not of him, just of the time in between, that erased the words from her lips. She took a few steps forward and stopped a few yards from him. Her eyes trailed his body once more before She kneeled down a bit to tear off a piece from the bottom of her dress. "Is it long before your next break?"

Focht couldn't help but smile as she kneeled next to him. He didn't turn to look at her as she spoke, but his ears did stand upright and alert.
"I can take one right now if you want me to. Just trying to figure out the best way to proceed from here."
With her arrival, Focht soon forgot about Renku and what was going on in the forest. Also, an idea came to him about how to get the outer cover done for this project.

She smiled a bit as she stood up once more beside him. her guanlet hand glowed a fair blue, as she raised it up a bit. The motion of her hand was as if she was grabbing air. She opened the palm of her hand, and within it was a small ball of Water she collected from the moisture in the air. it wasn't bigger than and inch in Diameter. She dropped the ball of water onto the rag of her dress she tore off, so that it was moist. perhaps you could spare some time away with me, now? She asked softly as she handed him the moisten rag, so that he may wipe his face and hands, as he was facing his back at her.

Focht accepted the rag, cleaned his face and hands up with it. Standing up again, he wondered if he should give the rag back or hold on to it.
"Sure, besides, I think I could use your help with this."
He turned to face her and smiled.
