My dog ate some of that peanut butter that's supposedly contaminated with salmonella. o_o
I ate some as well, though I haven't gotten sick from it yet. Here's hoping I won't.
I doubt that most people that eat all these contaminated products actually get sick. They probably wouldn't have even recalled it if there wasn't the possibility of too many people getting sick, and some dying, then sueing the company for millions in reprecussions.
Hell, the formula they use on Fight Club to describe these situations can be used in this situation too. If the amount to fix the problem is more than the amount than the number of lawsuits at X amount of dollars each, then the company probably won't do a recall.
