((Nobody I was RPing with is here anymore!))

Elrothiel walked away from the Golden Hall towards the South. She and her companions had been separated inside and they had left different ways. She had waited concealed outside for a while but as they had not reappeared she had decided to carry on alone. She knew she would have to be more careful where she went now because without anyone else to keep watch she was completely vulnerable when sleeping. She frowned. When had she become so dependent on other people? All the years she had spent in Fangorn and travelling by herself she had had to take these risks. So what had changed? She wasn't sure she would ever know the answer.

((Okay, so I'm guessing we're picking up after a handful of days or so...? Got seperated inside and until the other person returns he can be doing his own thing. My character is on his way towards you. We'll put it together.))

"Haha!" Gordo shouted as he slapped away another staggering orc spear thrust with the blade of his urgosh. He brought the jaws of the weapon back into the creatures neck in the same swing, twisting his waist hard and ramming him into his commrade. Down they went in a clattering, grunting heap. The stout dwarf reset himself and challenged the remaining trio of the small Mordor orc party. He'd made his way out of the Golden Hall three days ago and had been heading south when he began to come across scattered Mordor orcs. This was all he needed to see to know that Mordor and Isengard were incahoots. Before the fight began, he'd been dragging along Grima Wormtongue, not willing to relinquish the chance of seeing him pay for his treason and be brought to justice for all to see. He'd hoped it would put a stopper in the enemy's rush to control the realm of Rohan. But, taking advantage of the sudden attack of the orcs, Grima had slithered away.

((Ok.))

Elrothiel tensed. She could hear the sound of approaching footsteps. Her first instinct was to hide first and find out was going on but there was nowhere to hide and whoever it was couldn't be far from the crest of the hill she was climbing. She drew Naraithas and waited.

((Hello))

Aelin pulled her cloak around her tightly. She had been riding with a small group of Rohirrim for the past weeks. Helping them rid some of the villages of raiding Orc parties. But just hours ago she had said 'farewell' and departed. She was headed somewhere else, she was headed South.

Isil looked back at Sila for a moment that continued on through the woods. "Thank you. Do you get out much? I mean... I would expect that your travels would hold some sort of intrest if you've traveled so far. Where did you say you were from again?" She moved a branch out of the way and then looked at the ground seeinf orc tracks smeered every way. A look of frustration came across her face. They would, most likely, end up in a fight...

Sila followed Isil as she looked around at the trees. They were much younger and smaller than the ones that she was used to. "Of course." She said politely to her companions thank you. "And I don't really get out that much. My job never really let me before. And I'm from the great forest Greenwood, now called Mirkwood in these dark times." She drew out one of her knives as she too saw the tracks. "Where exatly are you from, Isil? You never told me eiather.

It had been a long time since anyone had asked Isil where she came from. She even had to think for a few seconds. Since she never considered any place a 'home' to her she couldn't think of a, necissarily, correct answer and so went along with the name of her birth-place. "I was born in a small town North of Minas Tirith. It was mainly a place were elvish and human married families lived."

After a while of riding, Aelin came to the ruins of an old watch tower. Since she had been riding through the night, Aelin decide to stop here and rest for a few hours. Swinging off her horse she noticed some Orc tracks. Closer inspection revealed that they where a few days old, at least.
The crumbling stone walls gave Aelin a sense of being watched. As if unseen eyes where peering out at her from the large boulders. Quickly, Aelin pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and looked around for a somewhat hidden spot to rest. She ended up finding one that if she sat in the corner she could only be seen by one side. There she opened one of the saddle bags and took out some of the food that had been neatly stashed away. Then she sat down to eat. All the while humming to a Dwarfish drinking song.

Van continued to follow the trail of the small orc party into the night when he saw fresh tracks of a either human or dwarve, it was unlikely to be elvish though possiable, with light baggage. The tracks looked no older than half hour. He looked around and saw the ruins of an old watch tower. Maybe the person had seen the party of orcs on their way here. And if theyhad, they were still alive so they could be orc freindly, so he kept his spear tight in his hands. He slowly aproached the remnaints of one of the walls and listined, he could here them softly moving. "Who dwells in these ruins?" he called out from behind the wall.

Springing to her feet, Aelin draw her sword. Someone had yelled something from the other side of the wall. Carefully, she walked around the wall. When she reached the other side she saw a man standing there, spear in hand. She couldn't tell weather he was good or bad so she didn't move any closer. "Who are you?" She asked calmly.

Van raised his spear towards the figure as the came around the wall. "It is not important who I am, as you would not of heard of me. Why is a lady here in these ruins at this hour with out any guards?" He called back at her.

Elrothiel was glad she had remained out of sight when several orcs appeared over the rise. They appeared to be fleeing from somewhere and didn't notice her at first. She used a front snap kick to send the first orc over the top sprawling back on his comrades. They fell and she had time to duck the next blade that came perilously close to her throat. Their startled cries filled the air and Elrothiel fervently prayed there were no reinforcements nearby.

She turned to duck again and as she turned brought her shining blade towards her opponent's neck. The blade bit deep, splattering her in blood. She grimaced with distaste as more orcs appeared over the hill. "Elves!" they shouted in their foul tongue and she laughed, the sunlight reflecting of her hair and she shouted aloud in the elven tongue they hated. All at once the jeers on their faces were replaced by cold hatred and Elrothiel knew they would fight harder.

She drove her blade hard through the breat plate of an orc to her left and parried the next blow with only inches to spare. She leapt back onto the rocky outcrop at the summit, hardpressed but fought on grimly. A blow caught her across the cheek and she could taste the blood. It didn't seem to be deep but it stung.

She retreated further until she was standing on the rock itself, defending blows from every direction. Another stroke and pain snaked its way up her arm. She was drenched in blood now and impossibly outnumbered but they didn't seem to be trying to kill her. She jumped a low blow aimed at her ankles and swung her sword at the orc, severing its head from its neck. They did not slow however. They trampled over their slain and came on.

Sweat and blood poured off her in rivers and she was panting hard. Her parries were also getting weaker and her attacks had virtually stopped. She refused to give in while she still had breath. Death would be nothing compared to the horrors she would face if she remained alive.

It had been a while since she had been called a lady. The word was almost refreshing. "You could say that I am on a self appointed mission. I have been searching for any who oppose Sauron. So that I could aid them in the fight." If this was a servant of the dark lord (or any who served him) she would hopefully find out now. Weather she could trust his word or not, well, that was another question.

Van lowered his spear. "If it is as it appears and you came from the north, did you happen to notice a small band of orcs? They would have been heavily armoured and coming from the south east if you crossed them." he asked her.

"I haven't seen any. But I did find some tracks around here. A few days old, maybe." She loosened her grip on her sword, slightly. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your name?" Aelin liked being to place a face with a name. And there was something unsettling about not being able to.

Van sighed. "Van, Van Kaizoku." he waited a moment and decided he could tell her what he was doing. "I've noticed a increase in orc movement in these parts. They are leaving in numbers around ten to twenty. And their equiptment has been geting larger. I dont really care what they do...I just was wondering what it was."
