That's what I thought...., Yuriko easily read Harley's shock at that, "You mentioned about 'Mister J' having undiscovered bases. Where might those be?"

Harley shook the uncomfortable thought from her head, and tried to focus again on the other woman. "All over Gotham" she replied. "He likes to claim unwanted property whenever he can. Bats usually breaks all the ones that get fixed up nice." Harley said, then shrugged a bit. "Really, he doesn't-erm, didn't even let me know about most of them."
"...what exactly do you need to find Mistah Jay for anyway?"

Yuriko sighed, "I'm completing a few tasks.... a bit bothersome I suppose, but must tend to them... finding people... Although, I did note that Gotham almost has the new Arkham finished. What if .... I can 'work' at the new facility? Perhaps you can help me fashion an identity that would be acceptable to Dr. Arkham."

Harley grinned a bit. "That was ages ago. But, if you have years of schooling and training under your belt...good references...strong resume...extremely good people skills....a total lack of fear of death....and I'm pretty sure after me they added a full mind evaluation, x-rays, no mutations or anything that might make them think that you'll end up turning into one of the patients....that sort of thing."

Harley shrugged. "With my profession, it was just kind of the perfect place. After that, I stuck around with Mistah Jay. Now....well, already have a name for myself here, might as well add onto it."

Harley was quiet for a beat, then tried to shrug again. "Well...as you can see, my new place is Joker-free. I haven't seen him in months, and I'm trying to establish myself as a real leading lady. No more number-two. As for Batman, he really hasn't bothered me yet. Actually...I haven't seen him in months either." Nor had she heard about the Killer Batman. She had been talking to Casper at that time...then driving back home...and then went right to bed after that.

Yuriko nodded, still laying across Harley studying her features, "True. But I have heard about a fake Batman who has been killing a number of mobsters recently."
Lady Deathstrike slightly adjusted herself where Harley wouldn't be uncomfortable.

Harley blinked. "A fake Batsy? Actually killing people?" Jeez leweez...good thing they got their big score tonight. Wouldn't be doing anything real big for a while now. "Well he can consider himself dead once the real thing shows up again. Bats doesn't really take kindly to anyone making him look bad. Well....more so than usual."

Yuriko had an impluse to play with Harley's pigtails. ......
Where did that come from? Deathstrike pushed that thought back, "True. Although, from what I've seen this guy is very good at what he does. If he chose to, he'd be a top notch assassin. That is the right term?"

Harley frowned. "Sounds right to me." she replied. Then she shook the uneasy thought from her mind. "Well, the real Bat's had quite a few good assassins gunning for him. And Joker manages to get out of all kinds of scrapes practically unscathed. If the guy hasn't already....erm....offed either of them, then it's good to say this guy will be the one to disappear soon." she replied, then tried to snap her fingers. "Betcha that's part of the reason Mistah Jay's hiding. Normally he'd be out playing a prank on Batman, but if the guy's killing, then Joker'd be one of the guys a Bat would go for. He's probably planing something big."

Meanwhile, around another building in Gotham, quite a few of Gotham's finest were choking, giggling and doing what they could to completely evacuate from the building. A barely visible purple cloud was rolling out of any opening the building had. A light mixture of laughing gas and natural gas. Just the thing to really set things up for the big kicker.
The Red Hood chuckled silently to himself as he lowered himself down the empty elevator shaft to the basement level. He reached the basement, and opened a trap door that led into the sewers. The door closed, and a few silent moments passed.
And then....
...boom.
EXIT Red Hood to UNDERGROUND HIDEOUT

As Red Hood moved through the sewers, a shadow moved silently, some ways away from him. It crept along the side of the tunnel Red Hood was in, assessing it's new target. All it had had to eat for the past few days... Was sewer rats. This looked much better...
Goddammit... You're makin' me a ********' cannibal? James Howlett thought, and the symbiote just laughed in his mind.
Wolvenom was on the prowl again.
