Well gang I won't be able to do Towns again until hopefully Friday night. It seems our internet at my house not being picked up by our modem and I don't know if I screwed up trying to get a new modem activated with our service. I had slow service Sunday, had it go out on me Monday and got it back for the night, but it went out again on us around one PM and now we can't get it back. Comcast says they can't send someone out to fix it until Friday and I begged and pleaded with the guy to try and get an earlier time but he wouldn't do it. So now I have to use the WIFI at places like the Library, Barnes & Noble, and Panera Bread for a few hours at a time to get onto the net if there's no way to plug in my computer. You'd think Barnes and Noble would have a place to plug in your computer so you could do more than three hours of work at a time.
At any rate that's my situation here.

Does anyone know if there is a list (complete or not) of all the dusty rose colored items on Gaia? I've taken a fancy to that color since it isn't quite so pink, but more on the side of pastel burgundy. If you can even think of an item that has that color, it would be helpful.
I already have:
Charming Majokko Dorobo MPP Macaron MPP Sprinkles Workshop Flora (not sure if this one counts) Princesse Honore Perfumed Bower

Heading home for a while and then I'll try and be on for a couple of hours later on this afternoon or after supper. I'm getting low on my battery here because I jumped on over to a Panera near me for a while and wasn't able to plug in.

The partial list at least gave me a look at some stuff I might be able to afford in the future. Most of that stuff is way over my price range though. Cel is poor right now. As much as I hate the idea of selling off more of my invo, I may have to. Thanks for the list.

Rookie detective has those boots in a dusty rose, Spring Tide Bunny, there is a leg warmer in a deep rose color in Loyal's I believe, and on the more expensive side Rookie's pursuit has a bag and a beige jacket trimmed in that color, and it's recolor use's that color a little more, also several of those Duchess dresses from that prom rig item have that color,

lol I just ignore the Rini like hair myself, I totally jumped on Rookie since I loved the MC it comes from, it is a nice new shade of pink. Such is the pains of not liking froufrou magical girl stuff on gaia (totally does NOT have that problem).
I'm just not really the magical girl type. I'm more of the temple priestess/fantasy fighter type. If I'm not going with one of those themes, it's more of a Sunday, on the town, sort of look. (Obviously with typical Gaia flare > since when do people wear wings in reality besides Halloween or comic cons? wink)

Had one heck of a time finding anything in my invo that would match the ice hair. Bought Charming Majokko Dorobo while it is affordable. If you do a market search with the parameters of between 1 and 10 mil as the price limit, you'd be surprised what all pops up. That is pretty much how I shop now. xd

Ugh those pigtails was so happy to see them recolored but the light one, it was so sad the cream does not match my hair at all it's closer to this hat's color.crying I wan't pigtails that match this hair!!!!!!! I have like 15 of those still from opening up Nirvana 2 gate's. That't a pretty smart way to shop I just buy cheap stuff from item rig's that catch my eye/ or if i like an item a wish list it to stalk it till it get's cheaper as of right now I have 2 animal items and an item that I think would give me a better legolas hair. (I was gifted rosamund's yearning right before I was ready to buy it), but I should give that a try and see what pop's up.
Pretty much everything on my wishlist is stuff I'd like to have, and I do keep my eye on the number of listings (usually how I decide whether or not to buy). I just can't afford any of it. Sure, I could list all my stuff cheap and have it sell fast, but I'd be losing gold and effectively cheating myself out of greater funds. So I wait.
I will buy rig items that have gone down, but again, I have to have the funds for it. Most of the recolors happening lately are ones I want and can't afford.
My most desperate option would be to sell half the stuff I own to buy other items, but I just can't bring myself to do that.
Believe me, I get the hair color thing. I wish they'd look at the colors they used for past item hair styles instead of doing the same color set (which hardly matches any of the old stuff). Personally, I think they've gone a bit too recolor crazy.

Hey guys I'm having way more problems than I had originally anticipated. My laptop has now picked this time to go so weird and strange on me that I can't access anything. The screen is so messed up and it's jumping all around and unreadable and the display is very messed up. Unfortunately I don't have a way to plug it into another computer monitor to check out if it's the graphics card or the monitor itself because our other computer is an all in one model. So I don't know when I'll be able to get back into going into towns right now. I have the Comcast guy coming tomorrow to check my internet issues and hopefully I can have someone at least look at the laptop and tell me if it can be salvaged and for how much. I'm not opposed to buying a new one and then getting someone to get the hard drive out of this one and seeing what can be done about transferring all of my files to a new laptop.
This issue is so weird that I don't even know how to begin to describe what's going on with the laptop to even see if it's the graphics or something else. All I did was plug the thing into a lamp with a plug at the library and *BOOM* it went very screwy the moment I pushed the power button. It was working fine a few hours ago so this is very strange. I could very well be in the market for a new laptop and if this one can be salvaged we can have it around for my mom to do all of her scanning on. So until I get things fixed don't expect to be seeing me in Towns at night for a while.
