I have my laptop scanning for malware. It's been on like, since 4pm, and the scan started at 7.
Surely there must be some reliable free antivirus software out there. the one that came with this laptop expired a month or two ago.

My dad uses AVG Anti-Virus free edition and that works great for him too.

For that, does Free=something-day trial version?No, both of those programs are 100% permanently free for home use. The only time it's not free is if you want to use it for a business or organization, or if for some reason you want a licensed copy. I think paying for it gets you extra features, but the basic virus scan is always free.

Yeah they better give us some kick a** bows and arrows or somethint. If I have to suffer a fat ugly cupid at the top of my screen for a month I want more than a reused joke.

Regulust Not just any cupid a fat and hairy one. That really doesn't even bother me that much. If they are gonna bother with a holiday at all at least put some effort into it though. Also just because items are free doesn't mean they have to suck. These kids suffer your stupid ads. Come on jerks.
