Olandrik's eye twitched a little hearing Hitana mention the fire feather. "Yes it is a real item. Usually shed from the oldest phoenix that bows to no one not even dragons or other phoenix's unless they have done something to get the ancient one's approval.

If even a powerless human holds it they can use fire for a time but every time it is used it burns the feather up a little more. until there is nothing left and it turns to ash. It is a temporary use item of magic and very valuable to the right person. But no this is no mere feather that is inside Sardin Hitana." Olandrik said smirking.

Magar laughs "No putting one in his gavelda fish sandwich would be funny one bite and his mouth bursts into fire like how a human eats a really spicy pepper they can run around looking for water or anything to drink to put the fire feeling out. No there are special rare elemental stones that fall from time to time known as the sun tear and moon tear. It is well if you dear sacred child of the sun, Sister to the sacred child of the moon.

If I wished to turn you into a fire elemental I would just merge 3 sun tears into your body. Head, heart and stomach. And once those gems sync with your body you would be fire nearly all the time needing to seek and master the ability to encase your elemental power into a solid unburnable composite to look human once more. I was there when Olandrik was away helping a town with an disgruntled earth elemental chasing them from a mine. And one shot down from the sun and was absorbed into his body. So thus a sun tear imbued him with the fire and powers of a phoenix.

And why the demon queen put that mark upon him to keep the stronger powers sealed away. Which in turn prevents him from becoming a vampire, But in doing so he can't basically die or is really hard to kill. But i just thought I would explain how this happened." Olandrik sighed frowning shaking his head. "And you decide to just now tell me this? I would think this sort of thing would have warrented a sooner telling of it." Olandrik said.

Magar the fire elemental lord laughed at the renewing question "Nope it was a triple inverted spiral seal even if the power that is sealed grows inside his body, the seal will get stronger in reaction to the power it seals, which also added allows him to tap into this power at will.

Yet he seems not fully aware of the reason he has the powers of a phoenix. Yet he know he can use them and does when needed. Though not trained in the use of abilities like it or not trained by a master that is a phoenix. To use even a small bit of his phoenix powers other then self revival when he should normally be dead. But to revive someone else, or to heal a minor wound it takes alot ou of him it seems." Magnar explained. Or at least he tried o explain.

Olandrik on the other hand laughed at the related part. "No we are not related, We just. Well when I was a youngling, A child for human measurements, I met and grew up around Magar and his siblings. you could say we are old childhood friends."

Sardin grunted and winced sitting up in his human form and grunted. "We still need supplies from the town for Synda Hitana so we still need to go there." He said shifting to sit up.

Olandrik and Magar went stiff eyeing each other when Hitana said that about the prophecy and the beast of shadow flame. Olandrik first spoke after a moment of Awkward silence. "Where did you hear that from Hitana?" He asked his tone was solid and strong but neither joking or stern. More of a single tone of sincerity as he looked to Hitana.

Magar shot Afir a look and simply said "No it's not just a story like the boogieman story. It's not fake and is real. Depending on the outcome it could be very bad." Magar's tone was just like Olandrik's

Olandrik sighed and grunted. "Probably someone who misread the prophecy that was recorded by the mage council. It does mention that one with strong fire will if they are allowed to live and indulge in dark urges their heart will become corrupted and they will... Well basically they become like that male demon. Out to cause trouble and loves killing innocent people. That is basically what it means as for the light it seeks to snuff out is the light of good." Olandrik said and Magar nodded a bit.

Sardin spoke softly having heard it though being held down by the three fire fairies sighed. "A doomsday prophet reading prophecy wrong and blowing it out of proportion. Remember the scare when people acted crazy years ago about the world going to end just because some ancient race that no longer lives by the ways the did back when the calendar they had made went to a date that just ended like 6 or 7 years ago?

It was the reason people believed the world was going to end because that calender ended like december of that year yet the world goes on past that. It is just that old race of people the math concept they used did not account for anything beyond that date. It wasn't them saying "Hey this culture is long dead and we have a calender that ends on this day because the world ends on the last day of december on the year our calendar goes up to. So prepare to watch the end of the world happen on the next day!" it wasn't that it is just that was hoew far the math went up to they used. If that culture still lived for like 100 years more the calender they made would end 100 years from that date.

It just means how far they calculated ahead of their time. Yet some people read into this ancient culture that died off 800 years before their calender ended, That it was a foretelling of the end of the world which it wasn't. But the beast of shadows flame has a twin the beast of sacred light. And it doesn't necessarily have to be fire. I heard the same the beast of shadow's breath, and the beast of sacred earth will wage war against the other One fighting to bring chaos into the world darkness to cover the land like it does in the dark lands where all the demons reside.

Which just means the two beasts can be of any element. The whole prophecy goes like this "When the world withers to barely hold life two sacred beasts shall arise one of darkness and one of light. They will be hard to discern from the other from the uninformed eye, One will work to spread darkness to cover the world and one will work to engulf the world in light, Once they realize neither shall win this fight a great eternal lasting peace in the heavens will reside two thrones, One that follows the day and light the other dwelling in the darkness of night.

Two lands identical in every way down to the smallest detail. Traveling flowing across the sky one being the new sun, the other being the new moon. The war that will cost much hardship on the world will rage in small influential battles one side trying to gain strength over the other to finally be rid of the other. But neither shall grow more powerful than the other. The light lead and ruled by the sacred beast of light will inspire people to goodness in their hearts and minds, While the sacred beast will inspire treachery and deceit in the hearts and minds of the people of the world. In their attempts to gain more power.

But unknown to each it will maintain the balance between light and shadow reviving the world as long as the balance remains even." That is the whole prophecy which was foretold by a 4 year old little girl who stands as the ruler of the darklands now." Sardin said looking towards Aliada then was tackled again and forced down to the floor of the wagon again.

Olandrik sighed and closed his eyes nodding "Yes that is what is told of the prophecy though not many can read it all or fully understand it and like that ancient culture misunderstand the meaning of it. The prophecy ultimately speaks of keeping the world in eternal balance and keeping it revitalized. Instead of these drylands spreading which can be a sign of the prophecy starting it will grow like it once had long ago." Olandrik said sighing then bopped Sardin on the head with a sleep spell knocking him out.

Olandrik thought a moment then spoke mentally to Aliada. "I know that Aliada, About the connection to my mind. She heard someone misunderstand the prophecy you spoke when you was just a child. I think she fears her to be the beast of Shadows flame. And Was worried her sister was the light referred to in the prophecy. Or that is my understanding of it. And don't mind her Hitana is not used to dealing with many others." He said mentally to Aliada before answering Hitana.

"Well Hitana everyone with powers over elements or any kind of powerful ability has to be careful using it, So that care should be placed upon anyone with powers. If the power goes to their head it can taint them. And making them do things against those who strive to do good. And We thank you for the offer Aliada on the escort but we can manage the area has not fully recovered and there is still danger traveling with the sun overhead we are just waiting til night fall before we continue on to the town." Olandrik said nodding softly.

Magar nodded about the explanation Olandrik gave. "Indeed there will always be a chance you could become the shadow beast of prophecy Hitana. If you let darkness and your power control you, Same with everyone holding power here including us elemental lords. That male demon with the darkness and want to just open up and kill for fun, As dark as his want for war is the prophecy speaks that which would make him look like a small human child throwing a mild tantrum.

This is the difference between a normal war mongering demon and the beast of shadow. I an Olandrik are soldiers for the mage council and we do what we can to keep that from happening to anyone. It is our jobs to do as needed to keep the harmonic balance over elements and powers." Magar explained hoping his explanation was easy for Hitana to understand.

Olandrik sighed. "I will do what I can to keep her or Lyra safe from that. It is why I gave them a special tool it will restrain their power automatically if they start becoming a shadow beast." Olandrik thought a bit and then snickered at Hitana's response.

"No more like grew up inside of one and not neither had proper training in use of their powers. Most the things both can do the learned on their own. Their father was enchanted by their mother and when the spell broke he killed heir mother ready to attack them before they chased him out Hitana attacking with fire balls making him jump out of the cave high up.

No one was able to find them because of the barrier their mother had up on the cave they called home. All they know about how to use their power they learned by themselves. Which at the level they are is amazing no one actually properly trained your Nieces Aliada." Olandrik said out loud and loud enough Hitana should have heard what he referenced Aliada as.

Olandrik sighed. "We will have to take it slowly but I am sure she will do fine. And picking on her isn't wise. She has amazing strength if I didn't know better I would say she has well 5 times the strength of a normal human. And she does the immortality ritual to keep her human though immortal. And neither of her parents had dragon blood or anything else that could count for the added strength." He said watching Aliada.
