i dunno how big a ship we'll have.
The Outlaw Star was about 90 meters.
The Falcon was about 56.
Serenity was 58.
The Karrde was 125.
So somewhere between 50 Meters and 125 meters would be the best.

In addition, we got to figure out the ship's history and how the heroes get it.
And if we're gonna have rival factions, then we'll need ships for them too.

Hm. Then why don't we rip off the Katana fleet?
Not the actual Katana fleet, jus' the idea.
For example, you know how Black Sun pretty much fell apart after Prince Xizor was killed? That could be how the separate factions come up. The controlling force is taken out, and all the rabble are seeking to take over, rip out their own chunk, or simply escape. Doesn't have to be Black Sun, just an idea.

We already have the Factions involved in this RP. We have the Republic (The Law) The Hutts (The Crimelords) and then the Outlaws themselves stuck in the middle. I don't see where your analogy even comes into play here.

There are three powers in space. The Space Forces (Republic Navy), the Pirates (The Hutt Syndicates) and the Outlaws. I'm guessing thats what Nelo thought when he wanted to put it in the past.
