The Knights we obviously shocked as their weapons began to melt but they were determined to escape...and survive. Quickly, they tossed their weapons towards the Elemental causing them panic and attempted, again, to run. Now without weapons, they had little option.
In their terror they screamed out,
"Beast, be gone!"

~Jynx reached the City of Paris~
"Phew, finally, i wounder what kind of things go on in this City, and how many things i can steal...."
~She smiles and begins to think to herself, the bag on her shoulder carried her Rogue outfit, so when ever she steals no one know's its her. She begins to walk to the nearest Inn and asks for a room, Not knowing what's happening in Paris~

Sam skidded to a halt and spun on his heels "ah, there you are." he said and stepped forward "let me be the first to say; you look like crap." he added and knelt down beside her. He scratched his head once and leaned forward "when we get outside, I'll let you hit me" he said and scooped her up in his arms and slowly moved to the door, breathing heavily under her weight.
Erin stepped back and let her sword slide back into it's sheathe as the gaurds panicked and run. She chuckled lightly and turned to Veronica "that was pretty funny, but, was it really necessary?" she asked and tilted her head to the right.

You can't take the sky from me. Salem stepped in front of the knights.
"Now gentlemen, we cant have you running off now can we? I think we should all take a moment to stop and talk abo-"
He was cut off by one of the knights smiting him hard in the side of the head knocking sideways a little, Salem stumbled a bit and removed the glove on his right hand.
" That, good sir was very rude, and my patience for such things wears thin"
He grabbed the man's helmet the metal rusted on contact and became brittle, Salem's hand broke through the brittle rusted metal and grabbed the man's throat. The man sputtered and gasped for air, looking strait into Salem's eyes, glossed over black from the use of his ability, a black ooze like Allure had seen when Salem was fixing the holes in his skin began to creep out from the small holes in his stitched skin like water flowing from a cracked damn.
He released the now lifeless man from his grip and the man fell to the floor in a battered lump.
The ooze pulled back into Salem's skin and his eyes returned to their normal grey as he adjusted his coat, standing straighter then before and pulling his glove back on.
He turned to the other knight.
" Now then, lets try this again shall we?"

Knight 1 -
He was abosolutely terrifies after seeing his comrade killed within seconds right before his eyes. While walking backwards he said in words barely understandable due to his terrible panic,
"W-w-why do you torment u-us? Leave me be...After what I've witnessed, you all really are m-monsters.."

Veronica, turned to look at Erin," can't i play with them, make them think they have a chance?" she turned back in time to see Salem kill one of them, as the man spook, she snapped out of it, her eyes growing back to a midnight blue and her wings hiding. she gasped and turned with her hands in her face hiding

You can't take the sky from me. Salem laughed and stepped towards the man, grabbing hold of the skin at his own neck he broke the stitches as he spoke.
" Boy these people are not monsters from what Ive seen of them. But if monsters is what you'd like to see-"
He paused breaking the last stitch and starting the pull the skin off, revealing the black substance underneath. He stepped forward and as he did the grass beneath his feet withered and died, the tree branches above him groaned and browned as the life from them was withered away. Salem's own clothing grew tattered as the threads aged and snapped bits fell from his jacket and pants, only his cane seemed un-affected.
When next he spoke his voice was several tones deeper, with a hint of a gurgling tone to it as though he was speaking through water.
" -Then I shall abide you!"
He made to pull the rest of the skin from his head.

Erin stepped toward Veronica and raised her hand "are you... all right?" she asked and looked to Salem, as he made his 'reveal'. She fought the urge to vomit and clasped her hands over her mouth "what are you?" she muttered and stood up, stepping backward in the process.

Allure grew in an instant panic from Salem change. She'd never seen him like this. A new form revealed that was truely frightful.
She answered Erin,
"He's one who draws blood though...he is more than I'd imagined..."
At this rate, the knight would be killed mercilesly. She felt the need to act and used wind force to shoot her wearly body towards Salem and drew her sword.
She knew it unwise to touch Salem, especially when he was like this. Having nothing else available, she saw only one option.
At intense speed, she raced towards Salem and wacked him square in the left side of his head with the back of her sword. The speed added a force to it that wasn't enough to damage the skull, but still rather powerful.
Immediately after, she pivoted to avoid running into him head on. It was incredibly risky and was only centemeters away from making contact at some points.
Throughout all this, she mumbled while moving,
"I'm sorry Salem. I can't stand by and let you do this. Proving them right...will not help anyone. Forgive me."
It was barely audible but she was sure she was close enough for him to hear.

You can't take the sky from me. Salem, after almost letting the death inside him take over out of anger remembered only hearing something pleasant, though he could not remember the words exactly, before instantly going unconscious and slumping to the ground.
His skin seemed to pull itself back down on its own and threads of the same black ooze crossed through the holes from the broken stitches. holding the skin back in place. He laid there in a heap.

The Knight rushed off at the chance. Completely terrified ofwhat might happen if he wasted a moment and was out of sight.
Allure felt idiotic after seeing his disappearence. 'Hurting an ally and letting the enemy get get away....I really didn't think this through..'
She knelt down besides Salem to check where she hit. There was no sign that he was hrt badly so she hoped.
The house was now fine. Mildly burnt but still in one piece.
Still, troubles were far from over.

You can't take the sky from me. Salem rolled over and groaned. Although he didnt feel pain, his head seemed to roll to one side. he realized the skin had been torn severely at the point of impact and that was causing his head to effectively be about 3 inches left of where it should be. He quickly repaired it and stood.
" Madam Allure I think I would be correct in assuming it was you who dealt me that pleasant little blow to the skull?"

Allure was surrised to see Salem already awake again but worried that he still was not his typical self so acted with caution.
"That I did and I'm terribly sorry. It's all I could think to do...Are you alright now?"

" Then Madam it would appear I am in your debt, as are everyone within this city, pray tell are you familiar with the city of Pi-Chin-ye? "
He didn't allow her time to answer.
" I shouldn't expect you are, it was a city in the Nom province of central china around forty years ago, had near five thousand residents, all of who'm. I killed. in less than an hour. That thing inside me, that animal, it Is death, it is age and it is hunger. Should it be unleashed as it almost was it will consume every, living, thing, plant, Human, bacteria anything that stirs with life, It will consume and destroy in a matter of seconds. It IS death. Ihave seen it unleashed once... I swore never again. I almost lost control this night... had you not stopped me when you did... there would be no stopping me..."

Cobra had been content after his and Ace's original scare to let them run off to their superiors. Being a man of peace more or less, he had no need or want to kill, but when he saw Salem corrode through one of the Soldier's helmets and drain his life, he rushed forward to stop him, only to be cut short by Allure who had the same idea. Cobra really had no idea who this man was on the ground, but from the looks of it, he seemed to be a necromancer of sorts, someone who Cobra would have considered opposite spectrum to himself...a corrupter of life. His judgment was harsh, but it was internal. He held his concerns behind his mostly hidden face and approached with Allure and looked down at the dead guard with sorrow.
"Every time this happens they become more and more right about people who wield elemental powers. You sir need to control yourself. I don't know much about you, but Allure must trust you for some reason, but if I see you even reaching out to another person in this way again, rest assured I'll do what I have to do to stop you. I won't sit idly by as you suck the life from people...I don't care if your friend or foe...no one deserves that."
