Sodain going out of the front door of the inn walking down the street looking around seen the guards that came out the back with her and the dark staff. "hmm wonder what they going to do with her. kinda looks like they arrested her." He muttered as he looked around.

The general thought about it. "I shall inform the Arclight of this, watch her and keep her here, if she arrived with an animal seize it as well, for shadows might have a corrupt mount, or a shape shifter from the shadows." He said using a wall mounted video phone to call the Arclight.

Sodain watched the guards a bit seeing them looking around a lot. As if looking for damage from the storm.

Sodain watched a bit and then seen Guards dragging a lizard on a cart with it chained down it was still out cold but then Niados woke up staring at Sodain he growled somehow slipping out of the chains, probable shrinking himself enough then back to regular size lunging out the cart spinning lashing his tail knocking guards back then charged at Sodain ready to attack.

Sodain jumped over using his palm with a fire barrier briefly looking to jump and tap the Lizard's back catapulting himself behind as a fire blast toppled Niados and Sodain took a defensive stance Ready for Niados's next attack as a bolt hits Sodain in the back He falls forward vision blurred and the same thing happened to Niados. Sodain seen Niados take two hits of the bolt looking like lightning shooting across the air from a large masked individual behind an odd mask. Sodain watched Niados succumb an dragged back rechained and the cart went past as Sodain felt himself being tried to be picked up but then he is roped and dragged somehow being rather heavy. Too heavy a normal person to pick up but then he wasn't aware of anything else.

Later Sodain woke up inside a cell with bars of light He just got around when a robot brought a tray in passing through the bars unaffected handed the tray to Sodain who took it feeling rather hungry and began to eat the food. By the time Sodain looked up the robot was gone.

The inn keeper and his wife both looked at each other then shook their heads "Sorry we have not seen him all morning."

Sodain looked out the cell and seen Arosa in another cell across from him. "Looks like we will be ere a while." Sodain said yawning having got up just before.

"Not all but some still do work." Sodain said softly rubbing it some still work.

"Oh you can just walk around though you should be back before nightfall. There is a curfew if you're caught looking around at night you might get arrested unless you have good reason." the innkeeper said.

The innkeeper nodded, "Yeah there is a curfew because unlike other towns this city doesn't have an energy shield and there are things that lurk in the clear nights, oddly it's safe on stormy nights it's like what ever roams at night does not like the rain or something like that. So there is a curfew to protect the citizens." He said.

Sodain sighed. "I seen him earlier when I was in and out of consciousness I seem a person in dark colored robes, with a box and a mechanical voice, I heard someone call this person the Arclight. I overheard them talk about a race. I guess he might be in a race. They might put you in the race too." Sodain said thinking about things.

The innkeeper helped her wash the dishes. "I don't its as simple as that. there have been abductions something swooping down from the sky screeching a horrible sounding screech grabbing people who had been walking around at night but then the Arclight came and started up the guards training people about 25 years ago. And had those who didn't have any special fighting skills to be indoors by sunset. every once in a while you will hear the screech but no one has come up missing since the Arclight came." He said.

Sodain sighed. "I have heard rumors of a town giving prisoners anything they wanted if they won, including their freedom if they won enough races, but there are 3 towns out of the 5 largest that holds races so I am not sure if it is this one." Sodain said and sighed adding. "plus I don't think this Arclight person is male, They didn't smell male, or at least not fully male. There was a scent of possibly both genders coming from this person." Sodain said knowing his insinuation might mean the Arclight could be a dragon born of both genders. Or a mutation among humans. "But I do know it's because of the Arclight my powers and your own are on the fritz." Sodain said softly.

The innkeeper nodded and smiled. "Oh they have races at least three times a day at the coliseum they even have a place you can put a little money down to try winning more."

Sodain laughed. "Oh yes she is in a safe place, the power block is oddly only inside the walls of this town." Sodain laughed a bit before wincing holding his right arm as it surged changing into a humanoid dragon claw like thing. it seemed he was having trouble keeping his human form.
