Meldisse Question: After I take the test.... and I get and ID made... Who would make that ID for me?.... Also if I send that person a pic for the ID can she tell me if that pic has already been used? P.S. If this question has been asked before... You can just give me the link to the answer.... Thanks ^^ Hi Meldisse, before you can have an ID made, you must advance to maid first. Feel free to PM me with your request when you have reached maid status, I would be happy to make an ID for you. If you prefer someone else to make it, please post your request in the ID-card thread. Ok, so I have a question of my own: How does a maiko find an onee-san? I know the geisha does the choosing, but how would a maiko become known among the geisha? My character only knows one, and she already has two maiko.

Ack! I'm so sorry that I'm back so quickly with another question!
My character was just sorted into an Okiya, but I'm unsure of what to do from there. Should she wait until she's spoken to to start cleaning, or should she just guess at what needs done? (Unlike me, she's a hard worker, hehee!)

I was placed in Mizunoyuri Okiya... Where do I go? Where is the geisha over me, and where is the the onee-san? (( and I would be better if you pmed me the infromation, so that I am able to find it mrgreen ))

Lexi, it sounds like you'll be a maid along with me! Our Okiya is found under the ' Geisha- Related RPG Forum" and specifically in the Mizunoyuri area. I'll PM you with the information to be sure you get it!

I feel like I'm constantly bugging people with questions- ack! sweatdrop
When a person eventually becomes a geisha and adopts a little sister, would it be appropriate for them to pass on some of their kimono to the sister? I know that the guild itself cannot afford one for each member, but I imagine it would create a nice sense of community if we were able to do this.

From the timing of things, I think that the sorting is being done whenever the heads of the okiyas have time to do it. I know the waiting can be kind of nerve-wracking, though! Please feel free to join in the 'Discussion of Geisha/ Japan" area until you are sorted! (And after you're sorted, too, of course!) I'm sure, from your profile, that you'll end up in a wonderful okiya!

Now what do I do ?.? This is kinda my first time doing a RPG like this..... Im in need of a little help....

No worries! I think we all feel that way when entering into a new situation! What I did was to have my character enter into the Okiya (yours is here) and start having my character clean stuff while waiting for instruction from senior maids, maiko, geiko or the head of the okiya. If you more help in knowing what to write, please let me know and I'll be happy to PM you wish some examples!
