I cannot say I've formed an honest general opinion of it, not having seen it.
...I just don't like the part of the fanbase that takes it too far in trying to defend the very series. 
Chucking a brick at someone's head? Stalking/strangling someone? Punching someone inna nerts because they say they dislike it? As funny as the last example may be, that is NOT on.

SlR PRIZE I like Twilight. Haters gonna hate. Me too, but generally I tear into haters because though there are legit reasons to hate Twilight, haters they never have them. Contemplating buying that item, even though it is lame, it is adorable! Also, I am not a crazy fan because I enjoy mocking Twilight too much.

I'm almost thinking Harry Potter, but then again...Apparently the Inheritance Cycle fandom was so bad that the antis had to start their own site in order to talk about it, but I've never heard of physical violence there. I've also met some positively insane Death Note fans, but again I haven't heard of actual violence over it.
