 It bugs me just how much publicity has gone into these coming Olympics. Seems I can't go anywhere without being reminded of Vancouver 2010.
Just think, if all that energy and money went toward promoting a cause that actually mattered...

Generally I think all major sports are pointless; the Olympics just bug me the most because they're not ongoing. Whenever they come into town it's a big deal like a carnival and everyone is more than happy to shell out 1500 or more (Before airfare and hotel) for a seat at a single event when they could have bought their entire ******** offices season passes to a local hockey team instead.
Also, 'proud sponsors' of the Olympics. If you need sponsors to pay for your country to host the Olympics, maybe you should have thought about that before you made that ridiculous bid for the rights to host the Olympics. stare
