I think I've managed to burn all those bridges now Tea.
My rather rabid, and less than gracefull response to recieving gifts may have discouraged people from giving me anything. sweatdrop

However, my mother always told me two things: Never get your nosed pierced and never refuse a gift given in graciousness. Thus... when my friends bought me my nostril piercing for my birthday present- what was I to do. twisted Anyway- can't be every bridge. After all, you have one, ja?

Because my mother is a prude? She still points at people with hair that isn't brown, black, blonde or red and mocks them for their color choice.

In other amusing news-
A huge group of us were doing prep work for SummerStar.
Four of us were huddled around the luminary station discussing how we were going to turn sacred symbols into luminaria.
The woman who had the different designs made a comment and we looked blankly at her.
Her response was "And you call yourselves witches!"
We glanced at one another- and shook our heads. "Actually, we don't."
One woman said "I'm a Thelemite". The other said "I'm a Priestess". They looked at me and the Thelemite said "And Tea is a... Tea!"
If she had said that to any of the other twenty people there- she wouldn't have had a contest. But she said it to the only three people there who don't call themselves that! rofl
