Orphie Regulust Orphie I agree with T on this one, guys. You wouldn't say something like: "Did you see th-" I was interrupt by a scream from the neighboring room. Instead you'd say: "Did you see th-" I was interrupted by a scream from the neighboring room.
It depends on the sentence. rolleyes No, not really. Interrupt is usually used for the future, isn't it? Like, "I'm going to interrupt their wedding." But if you're talking about something that just happened, or that's happening now, you'd be like, "You interrupted me." or "I'm interrupting your conversation, aren't I?" It works if they're in the process of interrupting. Remember, it's present tense. You can't have already interrupted while interrupting. xd

Awesome Tree Owwin Hyphens and ******** quotes? I just ******** said it was ampersand time. You guys can't do s**t right & you smell bad. Well excuse me for asking for help on my writing. You are not excused it is ampersand time & I am looking for a fight! XD Writing in the present tense is hard. Is the narrator omnipotent? nevermind. First person present is even harder to write in.

Also for certain parts of the dialogue... after someone speaks, start the narration on a new like, like so:
“Well, well. Mister Roberts. How nice of you to regain consciousness.” A large man in a suit is talking to me.
to
“Well, well. Mister Roberts. How nice of you to regain consciousness.”
A large man in a suit is talking to me, etc, etc.
