Sokai? I can accept this. And every pairing is unfair to someone else' preferences, Alice.

And that's the point of my rant. Although I know I'm not supporting all pairings in the series, I still respect everyone's opinions because its theirs and I have my own. I've been hearing a lot of people talk about SoKai and then posts responding to it negatively that I have had enough and suggested that there should not be an official pairing in the series. There's way too many people shipping different pairings. So here I am hoping that there really wouldn't be any, but even if a canonical pairing does emerge in the 3rd KH, I'd keep on respecting because it's not my place to demand.

I'm neutral on the matter, myself. I don't actually like Kingdom Hearts...Or Final Fantasy...Btw, your avi is really nice, Alice.

You know for as religious as a friend of mine is I am apalled that she would champion and condone a group of people who have said several times that they want to kill a member of congress and other state and federal employees on national television. I'm beginning to wonder if all of that is nothing but show on her part and she only pretends to be religious. How can anyone condone breaking the no kill Commandment?

Good question.
Doesn't lipservice faith just irk you? I'm not perfect in my faith, but I'm not going to break commandments like that.
Sadly, there are more and more people these days who just practice lipservice religion and don't want to actively try to be better people.

Oh exactly. It does irk me to no end. I make no ifs ands or buts about being an NPC mostly because, like my one sister is trying to get her daughter to understand, sometimes it's not the religion you practice that's not the right fit for you but the place in which you practice it. If your local place of worship is nothing more than a revolving door for clergy and doesn't connect with the congregation in a way that makes the teachings of your faith better relate to the modern world then it's not the right place of worship for you. It's at that point where you "shop around" for a better place to practice your faith.

I'm more like Hyde from That 70s Show. While I grew up Catholic and I acknowledge the Judeo Christian faiths and the teachings they have I tend to live a life more in line with some of the Eastern philosophies of Buddhism and Shintoism. I don't really believe in the whole middle man philosophy of praying away your wrong doings because it doesn't allow for personal ownership of what you do wrong in the world. That's what I don't really like, people who are all "God will tell me when I've done something wrong. I've prayed to Him and He has absolved all of my wrongdoings." Or they simply switch from one branch of Christianity to another and call that a clean slate for all the infidelity and misguided deeds in their lives. Bugs me to no end and I guess that's why I can't follow a particular political way of thinking because they use religion as their "Get out of responsibility free" card.

I'm far from perfect and I know there are some minor Commandments I've broken. Who hasn't broken Honor thy father and mother at least once in their lives?

That's the thing. To just say "I've prayed and that should do it," doesn't cut it. If you do wrong, God may forgive you for your sins, but that doesn't mean you just do whatever you want to again. The sin may be erased from His book, but you still have to clean up the poop, so to speak. It means you also need to apologize to those whom you have wronged, whether they would forgive you or not. Then it is your responsibility to make all efforts to not commit that sin again. So many people breeze over that fact and think they're good to go. It is irritating when people take the "I can keep doing it as long as I pray for forgiveness every time" attitude.

I can understand the wrong fit on a place of worship. So many churches are dead or on their last leg that you feel absolutely no spiritual presence. However, the same can happen at these overblown churches that have practically done away with hymnals and have turned into some Christian rock concert. We went to our old church for Easter last year since we were too late to get to our usual place. I will never go there again. I felt no spiritual renewal there, and it was like some rubbing elbows convention. That place has really gone down hill and lost the point of the Christian mission.

I've broken "honor they parents" and "thou shalt not lie" my fair share, but never with the though that I can just keep dong it. I don't like to make those mistakes, and I do feel remorse afterward and try to not make the same mistake again. To be human is to err.

Okay you lot, the theme for the Fantasy Month is updated! Feel free to join in the dress up and perhaps include some Easter elements in it too! (I know I did; look at the little chick by my feet. Adorable, isn't he?)

Happy Easter, BFAA!

Thanks. I figured I'd buy one or two things for my animal base if I could get them for under 10 mil. That's pretty much the only way I'll ever be able to have a kitten star. I'm curious to see what will come out of the Crosstitch animal contest.

Yeah I splurged on my animal base recently as well, I look forward to crossstich as well I would use the base more often if I there were more clothing options for gold.
