James put his fingers on the next area that was under higher pressure, though nothing sexual about it he was making sure she was alright and that she didn't overstress herself...course it feeling very good to her was a bonus. Before his bioware eyes shifted to pike again.
"I think you need to come to Meta next and see just why I keep tabs on everything like I do, before we start throwing terms like 'Big Brother' around. There are perfectly valid reasons I hold the 'keys to the city' as Jelena put it."
and a glance between them.
"and what's this about playing lab rat?"

"No worries. I'm not allowed to splice humanoid thingies in any form. That puts me just a tad too close to God for most people. I'm an animal person anyway, people annoy me too badly." But another noise from her, she had to learn all these little points so she could do this herself. It was nice when everything was in proper place back there. Unfortunately that mostly came with posture and Jelena was a habitual sloucher. "Oh he made a battery thing that is charged by sound or something. I yell a lot. Therefore, he's seeing an opportunity and taking it."

Pike smiled a little at Jelena as she told him that humans were not a zone she stepped in. "Well I'm relieved." Though he raised an eyebrow when James addressed him again and so he loosely crossed his arms and have a small nod. "Alright then, I will." As long as James didn't try to hurt him for no reason at all, he would be fine with going over to the Meta. Before he could tell the man what was going on between him and Jelena the doc decided to speak up which made him nod in turn. "Yeah she could really help me test it out and with what I've heard about her, I could probably have the battery worked out and fully operational in a matter of a week or two. As long as she keeps it within arms reach away from her person, she should be fine and the test will work perfectly."

looking between them again.
"He does know how loud you can get, right? I mean he's aware he may need earplugs during this test?"
giving a grin to her and a kiss on the cheek.
"But I'll let you have your fun. and since you've been such a good girl with this bioware, I have a present for you."
holding up a little green tablet.
"I know you know what this is, so you do know how much of a pain they are to get a hold of with a certain doctor in close proxy."
Of course he'd actually asked Camp to be able to give her a painkiller if things got overly bad. and from his own touch there it was going to get pretty bad if she kept things up, which she probably will, cause the woman didn't know the phrase 'slow down'.

"Most people are." Shrugging at it. She had never really wanted to dabble in that realm. Meant human intelligence factors and mothering needed to take place. Still convinced her biological clock had shut off already. "I warned him. I don't think he believes me though. Especially if he catches me on just the right day. But you know these new techs. It's all excitment and experiments and sex. What are you gonna do with them?"
She however eyed the pill he held up for a brief moment. "By good if you mean I haven't tried to pry it out with a screwdriver then yes. I still find this whole 'settling in' process annoying." Not that she was going to look a gifthorse in the mouth and thus took it from him and popped it into her mouth, swallowing. "You're good to me." Snuggling up to his side in commonplace affection...and probably for a little support as well. "Is that the subtle, okay you need to stop now Jellybean cue?"

Pike smiled a little bit toward James. "I won't be there during the test, I trust Jelena to be careful with the battery and since I know how loud she can get I rather keep my ears in one piece thank you." By now Pike had cooled down enough and stood a bit off from the couple with his hands in his pockets. After a bit he made it over to the door and turned back to the other two. "Well thanks again Jelena, we should do this again some other time." He then pressed the button which he knew opened the door and left after waving goodbye, and Pike was happy all around at the moment, for now he had a sure way of testing out his battery. But now that he was done jogging it was time to visit a certain someone, and after remembering her room number Pike found himself back on his home ship and knocking on the door, when it opened he was lightly tugged inside as there were no words needed, then the door closed with a familiar hiss.

"Yes, that would be the subtle, slow down before you fall down. you've been running around all day so far, literally. don't think I didn't know about you chasing joey with an actual butterknife. Now's time to relax and take it easy for a little bit."
a grin at her and putting an arm about her waist with a chuckle.
"although, since you brought up sex...something on your mind?"

"Careful I take things apart when left alone with them for too long." Shaking her head as the tech wandered off. "I bet I know where he's going." But she turned her attention back to James and supressed some eye rolling. "He deserved every terror filled moment. Honest." And it was funny, who could deny her that. "I didn't bring it up, he brought it up. Like space is the ultimate aphrodisiac or something. I mean I get the allure and what not but honestly." Crossing her arms and tapping her fingers on one of them. "Admittedly though he got my gears turning. You phrase something one way and they take it another way and there goes my mind into less than scientific directions."

"Oh I know that one. But would you like to indulge or would you prefer to let you mind just travel in the gutter for awhile?"
A slight chuckle and winking at her.
"After all like I said I can have all the free time I want."

"It's been in the gutter for the better part of an hour now. I would prefer the former over the later." This time however she did roll her eyes at him. "You seem to have all the free time you want when I don't have free time, or you're making me work during your free time. I think you're plotting on me."

"I don't do the plotting thing. I'm the guy they plot for, and then point me in a direction and say 'destroy that'."
A chuckle lightly.
"But I got all the free time I want to have, and yes we've kept you busy. if you recall when we tried not keeping you busy, you were quite irrate most of the time. particularly because of certain habits."

"Press X to have him destroy. Yes I see how it is." Though she gave a light smile to him. "I was irate because no one would leave me alone. Or let me box up things I didn't want to look at, and I couldn't disable the gravity in my room either. I get all cranky. I've become fond of lack of gravity. You've got to learn to keep my busy better. And I need a shower, I have sweat and techy all over me."

"well then lets go get you a shower. and you know why we didn't let you turn off gravity it's because your still settling into your bioware upgrade. no gravity screws with that and yes it would make it take longer."
tapping her nose lightly.
"And you know how I am about people's bioware. I don't want you in discomfort any longer then absolutely needed from it."

"But the rest of my bones don't seperate from my body when I turn off gravity. How unfair is that?" Shaking her head lightly, him and his little bioware care comes first thing. It was sweet in it's own way but at the same time partially annoying. Annoying mostly because she really didn't pay attention to take care of such things. She didn't the first time and habits were hard to break. "Discomfort is an understatement somedays." Motioning him along. "Come on then, you can guard my gravity and cameras from me maiming them while I get clean."

He gave a chuckle and walked with her back to her room, and while she showered he was straightening u the mess around her bed some and cleaning up a bit before lounging on her bed.
"Still messy as ever, I see."
