People say they're leaving, but most won't. It's just talk. When you're hooked on a site, you're hooked. It's not because of the color, or font size, or even the navigation (which IMO was pretty bad before).
The font thing never bothered me, but the quoting layout did. Looks like we've gotten that fixed now too.

I don't really mind it, all I think that it should have a border around the edge so it doesn't make it so plain.
