Suddenly Alina felt...a stop...she stood up very quickly and looked at everyone. "we...we are here..Mother..." she said with a slight curtsy. she turned to kakashi and blushed agian. "i...guess we will have to finish this...later." she hastily opend the gateway at the other end and said "everyone must get out first, i have to be the last one out."

Alina gave skiiy a look that would have burned him up if his power hadnet protected him. Alina didnt know this trick, she was only Accepted. opening up her bag she took out her larg cloak and warped it around her. "well hurry up please!"

Alina stood preplexed at the Aiel. at least, i think they are Aiel...siswai'M'Hael?!? Didn't that mean somthing like...Spear leader, or somthing? Sense when do Aiel have, M'Hael's?!?! maybe they are unique, like you and Mairyela that small voice in the back of her head-which she now knew to be her'voice of reason'- said, there arnt that many female wolfkin now are there? maybe they were castaways, like dupre, or maybe they ran away, like you...maybe they dont WANT to be Aiel. They didnt even Veil themselevs before they lept out of the gateway, and I know that all Aiel do THAT. she looked at...Raznon,-thats what Clarissa had called him- with a sideways tilt to her head. he smelled...unsure, and...was that..."amusment?" she said outloud. " Master Raznon...sir...are you...amused at somthing?" she left room after his name for an unspoken Gaidin because she was not sure if he was Clarissa's other Warder. everyone knew she had been green, and there was rumor she had "another" Warder besides Yurin...."may i ask why you are amused?"

Mairyela watched from where she stood as Skiiy and the Aiel jumped through the gateway. Even before Skiiy cried out his warning about the cold, she could feel the cool air swirling around her ankles. Embracing saidar, she wove the intricate pattern, tying it off in time to overhear Raznon answer Alina's question. She had also sensed an air of mingled amusement and eagerness. She was also surprised that he had used the word smell. Why smell? Could it be that he, too, is a Wolfkin? If so, I never suspected there would be any across the Spine.

Before she stepped through Alina's gateway, she muttered, "The Wheel weaves in mysterious ways." Turning to Alina, she whispered to her in passing, "You must teach me that amazing little trick you've just preformed. I have always wanted to Skim."

Stepping into the snowy environment of the Seanchan Islands next to Skiiy, she looked around. All there was to be seen was the farm that the Aiel had mentioned. Other than that, there was nothing but a field of white as far as she could see. A cold breeze from the north held the scent of pine; a forest prehaps. Stopping to take a better sniff, she deduced all she could from the area for the others. "There are people inhabiting the farm to the east, and by the smell, they're sitting down to dinner. Meat of some sort, and turnip. Also, they have an animal on guard. Don't ask me what, though. From the south there's a salty scent to the air, probably the sea." Another sniff. "There is the strong scent of people coming in from the north. It's distant, but definately human. I'm thinking it's a town, or even a city. There's also a pine forest in that direction. We'll no doubt have to go through it to reach the town."

((Book 9: Elyas and Perrin, both being Wolfkin, could not speak to each other the same way they could speak to wolves.
