Interesting, I've always been given the option to invite whatever random individual I've wanted to weddings, but then again, I suppose that I get a bit of a pass because I was a relative. Though, I've considered bringing a dude along just to completely ******** with them.



However, in other news, I really ******** want to stab this god damn a**. So I only asked in January for him to write me a reference letter. I told him I needed it by the end of Feb, well that didn't happen. So I continue to keep asking him about it, and let him know that I absolutely must ******** have it turned in by the 29th of March. So he tells me he has it written and just needs to type it up the week before the 29th. So I give him the e-mail and all and inform him once again that I need it by the 29th. So I get an e-mail from him today telling me he just e-mailed it to the person today. TODAY! THE ******** 2nd of April! I'm so ******** glad that I'm most likely not going to get a GA position because he couldn't ******** make ten god damn minutes to type something up and e-mail it. If you couldn't ******** be bothered to get it in by the deadline you didn't have to ******** agree to write the damn letter in the first place. I'm just so ******** sick and tired of getting screwed over by other people.

It's bad enough that our advisor won't ever accept that we've made a decision or ever shut the bloody ******** up when we're trying to have a meeting. If you want me to put together that e-zine then shut the ******** up, get me the information I ask for, and don't ******** change the plan every time we talk. The English Society is not your ******** little pet to do whatever the ******** you want.

On that note, I think I'm going to go ahead and schedule a mental breakdown. That and I think I'll drop out and become a bum. Luckily, at this point, I'm guaranteed to graduate even if I stop showing up to class.

And to continue on the note of that advisor? WOULD HE EVER ******** LISTEN! She specifically said that A. we had readers that could only be there at certain times and B. that she herself couldn't be there because she had class. Thus, C. we need the information on when the musicians are going to be there so that we can D. make a schedule that gets people there and reading when they can actually be there. It's not so ******** hard to do if you'd just give us the ******** information we ******** asked you for. And to ******** accuse me of trying to usurp control of the event when I remind you of the s**t you should have already known is kind of ironic when you won't let her run the ******** event unless she does it in your stupid ******** pissed together manner that doesn't actually work for anybody.

And you want to know why nobody comes to meetings or why they don't go to events? Because you won't shut the ******** up and because you won't ever help us to put on the events people actually want to ******** go to. They don't want to go to your stupid moon city readings for authors they've never heard of on topics they don't give a s**t about. We're not here to be your little ******** patsies.



Honestly, I don't see how one of our meetings isn't going to devolve into me chewing his a** out next semester. In fact, I should probably start a pool. His is the way of stupid and fail and mine is the path of possibly actually getting something students would be interested in. I don't think he's ever even, I dunno, tried asking students what they'd be interested in, as if that's such a novel ******** concept.

Why am I inside? It's almost 80 outside. I should be outside. Oh, wait, 'cause I'm too lazy to go anywhere. That's why.

I just got the urge to go put on all of my old items I used to always wear.

And I turned 25, today. That's probably officially ******** old to be hanging around Gaia.

and it was 80whatever here today, too, and NOT humid, and with a lovely breeze to take the edge off, in other words PERFECT weather, and I couldn't go outside and enjoy it because my new tattoo is about 48 hours old and mustn't go out in the sun. I ran out to the drugstore at lunchtime and was out of doors for about 5 minutes altogether. qfd
