Rosey fixed her hair again, plastering it back so it feathered some down her neck and so her bangs were no longer sticking up. Again, why did she put up with him? With a sigh she shifted her weight and looked at him with her head tilted some to the side and her hands crossed, hugging herself. "So, what exactly are you going to get done? I mean I know you are going to change your eye but what exctly?" He had to write it up to it was probably very specific.

"I specifically recall just now not mentioning the word pervert. Please James, I'm a scientist. I hardly call people names...often anyway." A good laugh at that but she moved on to more things. "Alright, let's speak of relationship aspects again. Come now, you're a man. You're biologically geared to chase down women over half the time, even you. Trying to catch the eyes of anybody lately?"
"Well, like I said I wanted to keep it close to my original design and all the aspects of it. I figured I would have Jessica rig up a model that incorporated all the software and stuff that I have already via a download process. But then I figured I'd treat myself and have her give me a zoom features and as well as 3D imaging features. Also have a few more specifications in the actual hardware to cater to my gun's needs." A look to her with a smile. "How's it sound?"

And she needed a moment to process that as obvious with the little look she gve him including one eye closed. Ok, zoom feature, she could definately see him saying 'Wheeeee' one day, someone ask him what he is doing and he would reply that he was playing with the zoom feature in his eye. At that thought she shook her head, "Well, it sounds good, though I am wondering why do you want to keep it close to your orginal design?" Not a bad thing, just her curiosity.

"come now. biologically geared to chase women? hardly. or maybe that's part of my brain I sacrificed for this wonderful digital memory and storage and data streaming. As for someone I'm trying to catch the eye of? no one at the moment. Probably just too many years of looking at a woman and getting a 'you monster how dare you' look back. Though lets see. if I had to pick..top two would be yourself and jessica. You're a strong woman, good looking and responsible, if unorganized. not to mention your degrees in biology could come in handy."
A small chuckle at that.
"And Jessica...well...she knows me better than nearly anyone you coudl say. after all, she gets literally inside my head."

"Simple, I don't want to have to learn a whole lot of new things. See, up here Rose bud, when we get something new put in and its a big change from an older version of whatever we had, we have to be put through test runs and then training and the like. I would prefer to be able to skip all of that if I can. So sticking to what I know is best and I'll just grit my teeth and bear it for the one or two things that are new. Better to learn a few things than a whole new system.

Jelena gave a laugh. "Most women say 'I wish I could jump inside your head and crawl around.' Jessica can do just that. I'm sure it's quite and interesting place in there. Though I think I'm honored to be in the top three range you have there. However if I had to compete with Jessica for your affections I'm afraid that woman would beat me up and break my OODDS." Another laugh as she put it into something of a junior high school scenario.
She sat back in her chair with another laugh and a smile. This was a nice little reverie from her work that was for sure. "My degrees in biology...reminds me..I have to send in that test before the due date for my PhD. Wonder where I put that thing..."

Then aslight grin at her scenario.
"Though I think your wrong about Jessica. chances are she'd schedule an appointment and then hardwire my brain so I'd belong to her or something. lord only knows what she can do with the right tools."
A small grin.
"Though..A harmless fling might not be out of consideration. Maybe if I'm such an attractive male I'll put myself on the market and see what happens."

"Maybe if I were better motivated to be organized then I would be." Yes she could counter that one. He always picked on her inability to organize anything really. Her office was a mess, her room was a mess, everything was just a mess. Mostly paperwork.
But she gave another laugh followed by a sigh and a shake of her head. "You're right. Why fight for a man when you can wire him to be yours and only yours. Quite the ingenious little plot that's for sure."
Jelena raised an eyebrow at his statements with a half smirk half smile playing on her lips. "Oh really now. Remind me to take a number then. After all, I'm sure the line for you James Moira would be composed of a lot of young little techs barely into their twenties."

Roselyn gave a shake of her head, "Which translates to you are lazy and scared." She let show her small reserved smile though it made sense. If someone went into something new like that not knowing how to use it, well they can not just find an open field to test out more dangerous things, such as weapons. It was sometimes forgotten that this was a space station, even with some of the ambience given. A few offices did not like to look outside and see space, so they put up pictures of fields to give it a different feel. There were still those that did not like that the projects were in space. "I do not like getting new things installed, but sometimes playing with them was good, when I was not being forced too, and when things were under control." A while ago in other words.

He had to smile lightly, after all, Rosey didn't like to talk of her past much and he had learned to consider it a privilege when she did so these days. "Yeah, I guess you can call me lazy and scared, I won't try to deny it, because I am." He leaned back on the railing again, casting a look out to the stars before brining his eyes to look at Rosey once more. "New things to play with are always fun provided there's that bit of comfortable safety involved." A moment of silence. "You ever things of getting your activation mechanisms replaced? Maybe so they're not so sensitive?"
"Careful James, your civilian is showing." Yes he was slipping out of that rigid military thing he was always showing. But that wasn't a bad thing really. And she feigned an old Victorian style of being flattered. "My dear Mr. Moira, how very kind of you to give me priority." A laugh as she broke the style. "Like getting front row tickets almost to the concert of your dreams."
"I can imagine it now. The hair pulling and the purse snatching. The harsh violent words being thrown about and then a circle of girls around their pocket books and shoes trying to devise a scheme so they all get a piece of you. Radiance Administration would how a cow."

A slight grin.
"So here is the real question to pose. say I decide to put myself on the block, so to speak, and you have first shot. woudl you take it, or woudl you pass so you can enjoy the twenty-something techs do battle with one another in an affort to see if they can get and keep me?"
Then a chuckle.
"Yes, the civilian side of me is showing. I do think you laced my sandwich with something."

And provided the things were voluntary. Rosey shuffled her feet a bit, looking down at them, suddenly finding them fascinating. She sighed and sent one hand to play with the end of her hair while she still looked down toeing in and out of her sandals as she often did. "Well... the way I am wired it would be a difficult procedure. There are risks, but I guess there always are. And I was modified this way so I could be modified again." And her feet wiggled into her shoes again, "I am just concerned that the original one who did this can no longer work on me. I know that he was wrong and I do not like him but I worry about others going in and trying to play with things." Though it would probably to be to her advantage since she was so sensitive.

"Hm, quite the decision there. Watch a battle to the death or claim you straight off so that I could have first dibs on you." That look of scientific analyzing crossed her features. "Or I could always claim you as my own, then flaunt you in front of the little barely twenty year olds and watch then seethe...yes that would be most fun."
Then a slight laugh from her. "I did not lace your sandwich. Why would I taint good old traveling food? I love it too much to do that."
"See, that's how I feel about my eye. The tech that used to work on me all the time died quite a while ago and I've been passed around ever since. I trusted him to take care of me and trusting someone new every time something has to be done to you is scary." Reaching over he rested an arm around her shoulders. "But it's also not so bad. And sometimes you just go to swallow that fear Rose bud. Friends help with that, I mean if you weren't going to be with me when I get thrown on the workbench, I would never go even if I went blind in that eye." A nod and a chuckle to her.
