She nodded yawning looking at it then tested it out nodding edning the barrier. "Interesting this is. Thank you. So shall we get some rest or just go grab Roberta and run?" She asked curiously.
Arosa was exhausted panting and moved out of Roberta's room after she failed many times to open a portal and was feeling exhausted. Moving she went to get back ther room.

Sodain smirked a bit. "I thought you would like it." he said looking at the room seeing only one bed he frowned as it was a large bed meant for two people. "seems we are meant to share the bed." He smirked a bit at Lita snickering. "you take the bed, I will sleep on the sofa near the fireplace." He said sure it would ease her feelings.
Niados was in the room having slipped inside through the window and was sitting in a chair for when she would enter.

"You sure? Thank you, that's nice of you." Lita said smiling and laid down yawning going to sleep.
Arosa once back in the room jumped eeing him and stared sighing. "My magic didn't work. It's got to be something in this city. Maybe we should just grab the girl and run for it. What do you think?" She asked curiously, looking at Niados.

Niados shook his head. "that might not be a good idea, the guards in the streets have increased, I barely avoided getting spotted getting in here. there has got to be like 500 guards within 5 minutes, and it's a steady flow." He said sighing. "The guards all have the same logo of the royal crest of the 12 divines of Syna."

Arosa sighed muttering soft curses. "Dang it, now what do we do? Our powers won't work and if we are seen we'll be under arrest for sure." She said sighing trying to think of how they could do this.

Niados sighed. "I might have a plan on how to at least get out of the city but it will take a little while and I will need your cuff." he said holding the crystal of his cuff, if Arosa let him he would get to work trying to rig it into a mini teleport device. "There could be a way I can alter the cuff into a mini teleporter for two people so we can get out of this city and figure a way to get the girl as well." Niados said softly.

She nodded softly, moving closer and held her wrist out with her cuff so he could see what he could do with it. "Don't worry, do as you need to. I'm just here so don't worry. I hope you can make it work as a teleporter. I'm sick of this place limiting our powers to null. And after I tried so much this staff I was told to use here is useless as well, it doesn't work in this....whatever it is." She said laying the staff down beside her.

Niados looked at the staff as he worked. "Hmm I think the staff might be fake. That or broken it looks like a gem is missing, in fact looks like the setting for the gem is missing too." He finished the adjustments a bit sighing. "Well I did all I could to change it, though it needs a shock charge to activate it. That is if it will even work with what ever is going on. if it works we need to report this null effect and about getting devices that work like magic but run on science." Niados said.

Arosa nodded softly. "So....are you staying here or you going to start fighting with me so we can teleport out and try coming back for her? Or are we going to try sending me out with her?" Arosa whispered softly, curious to how the plan was going to go down.

Niados laughed. "I am not sticking around here more then I need to without my tools. Had I known this was going to happen I would have brought my toys." He said throwing a punch at Arosa.

Arosa gave a soft yelp ducking and frowned glaring and went to punch him back. "Oh please like anyone wants to be with you and your toys." she said softly snapping at him.

When the cuff would shock her if it did Niados clung tightly to Arosa after ducking her punch Niados closed his eyes as he clung to Arosa. After a few minutes he opened his eyes sighing letting her go staring at the cuff. "why the hell didn't it work...It should have worked I did everything right. And my toys you like playing with Arosa those fire shooting gauntlets are just one of the toys I refered to." as he watched the cuff fiddling with it there was a big shock and a quick flash that made Niados shoot out the window smoking he lay there stunned as if struck by lightning having been sent back into his lizard form and stuck ended up stuck in that form a while.

Arosa winced trying not to yell and moved didn't know why it didn't work. She was going to answer before screaming when the shock happened, falling back and groaned, her head hurting and her arm of the cuff looking like it was singed. "Niados......." She muttered wincing, trying to get her body to get up but some reason she felt exhausted and heavy, her head feeling foggy as thunder rumbled outside.
What was with this town? She didn't know and was wondering what was happening and why the cuff did as it did.

the cuff ended up getting damaged and burnt out. Niados was found by guards and put a rope around his neck dragging him into the barn closing it and locking it on the outside as he was out cold in the lizard mount form.
Sodain waited till Lita went to sleep, tucking her in good and being not sleepy headed outside to just look around unaware of the guards.

She moaned as soldiers heard the scream and saw the window broken, the curtins blowing out in the storm. Two nodded moving in through the back door heading up to see who had screamed and if they okay. Getting there they paused seeing her passed out on the ground with a burnt up arm. One pointed seeing the dark staff.
The other nodded moving forwards, picking her up as the other grabbed the staff and they left, using back stairs so be out of sight of the main stairs, the hidden ways not known by customers as Arosa was out cold from the shock and blast.
