Selene smiled back, relieved that Kristopher was alright with staying in the dorm. "O-okay.." She reached into her pocket for her wallet to pay for her drink, but froze and her jaw dropped when he pulled out money. Fifty dollars? She stared at him for a minute, then looked down at her latte. After a moment, she slowly took a sip from it without looking at anyone.. She blinked and shrugged kinda before answering his question. "M-music..?" Her tone was slightly questioning.. But she really did love music. It was one of the few things that usually didn't scare her, except books.

Kristopher took a sip from his mocha as he listened to Selene. "Really? What kind do you like? Personally, I'm into rock." He stared at the tabletop as he traced an invisible line. He did this whenever he was around someone he was nervous about.
Kristopher sipped his cup of mocha while he listened to Selene. "Really?" He said, putting down the cup, "What kind? Personally, I like soft rock. And jazz." Chris traced an invisible line on the tabletop as he spoke. He did that whenever he was nervous... and he had never personally spoken to someone else, much less a girl.

Selene nodded and nervously sipped her latte before glancing around. She half shrugged and mumbled, "A-anything s-s-soothing.." She really wasn't particular when it came to music.. As long as it was quiet and helped calm her down, she usually liked it. She sipped her drink again and looked down at the table, frowning slightly.
Kristopher smiled as he took another huge sip of mocha from his cup. "Interesting..." He smiled as he thought of his younger brother, always so timid and shy. He'd always ask for Chris to be quieter. Chris chuckled quietly, then sighed.

Selene watched with wide eyes as Kristopher practically gulped down his drink.. At least, that's what it looked like to her. She nodded nervously, then took another small sip of her latte. It was her habit to drink slowly.. She tilted her head with a quizzical look when he chuckled, wondering what he was thinking about that was so funny.. But she decided not to ask. Her gaze slid away from him and to her right, towards a window. She stared outside for a minute, then murmured softly, "I-it's r-r-raining.." That was true. It had just started to rain outside.. It made her glad to be inside, but she knew they'd have to walk through it to get to the dorms. She sighed a little, wishing she had brought an umbrella.
Hikaru arrived at the cafe with Arturia. He only spoke during their walk to answer any questions she had, but he did not ask anything or start up a conversation. Once inside he pointed to an empty booth near a window. He walked over to it and sat across from Arturia. He picked up the menu and right away turned to the drink section. He looked at all the different types of tea that they had and was deciding which one to get. Hikaru was a picky eater and drinker so there were very few options on the list that seemed interesting to him.

Arturia enjoyed the nice walk over to the cafe with Hikaru, especially enjoying the fact that she was able to somewhat freely socialize with someone her own age. She hadn't had any freedom like she was experiencing now in many years. To be able to freely walk around with someone she hadn't known all her life, to be able to enjoy herself. When they had arrived at the cafe, Arturia turned her attention to Hikaru as he pointed to an empty booth by the window,
"Sure, that booth is fine!"
When they sat down in the booth, Arturia looked around at their surroundings in the cafe. There were others in the cafe at the moment, a girl and a boy, making Arturia wonder if they were acquaintances, like her and Hikaru, who were getting something to eat or if they were friends. Arturia smelled something from the kitchen and closed her eyes as she breathed in the scent, finally concluding what the smell was in a joyous voice,
"Mmm, cookies. Hikaru! Do you smell it?"
Cookies were a childhood favorite of Arturia's and never failed to excite her as they once had. She smiled at the memory of her making cookies with her brother before finally picking up a menu to look it over.Sandwiches, entrees, drinks, desserts, appetizers. What kind of sandwiches do they have?She looked over the small selection of sandwiches the cafe had and immediately decided to order a sourdough bread peppered-turkey sandwich which included lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. After deciding on her sandwich, Arturia looked at the drinks, specifically the cold teas they had. She murmured to herself as she looked at each tea,
"Cold teas, hm, what kind..oh? Iced green tea? Or a peach lemonade green tea? Wow, didn't think they would have green tea here." xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Arturia continued to look at the menu, forgetting Hikaru was sitting across from her.
Hikaru looked up from the menu slightly and looked at Arturia. He didn't get what was so exciting about the smell of cookies. He didn't say a word to her about the cookie smell, he simply looked back down at the menu.
"Green tea is good but I'm rather disappointed that all this green tea seems to be Chinese green tea."
Hikaru preferred green tea from his home land but since this was the only green tea he'd endure. Hikaru usually wouldn't accept food that wasn't to his exact liking but he had Chinese tea before and it was good, just not the best in his mind. "Can't believe that I have to endure this. I think that there should be more tea on this menu." He said before placing the menu down.

Arturia had noticed Hikaru didn't respond to her question but didn't mind, too busy contemplating what drink to order. She looked up from the menu when Hikaru commented on the green tea they had at the cafe.
"Oh? How did you know it's not Japanese green tea? Though that is disappointing to hear it's not Japanese green tea."
Arturia being the secret green tea fanatic she was, had her aunt and uncle in Japan send over green tea leaves every month. She put the menu down, grabbed her bag, and looked for her bag of green tea. Arturia always carried enough green tea for 4 people, as to why, no reason. When she found the bag she plopped it on the table and smiled,
"Well, good thing I always have green tea leaves with me! If you're wondering why on earth I would have it with me the reason is because I have my aunt and uncle send me green tea leaves every month. Ever since I was little, I would visit their home in the summer and drink green tea whenever. Oh yea, heh, anyways, did you want iced or hot green tea?"
When asked about how he knew that the leaves were different he held up the menu and showed Arturia the tea page. "There's pictures of the tea leaves and I know all the leaves native to Japan and none of these are them. Also some of the descriptions of the tea specifically say where the leaves ate from." He answered plainly before Arturia put green tea leaves in front of him. He put down the menu and looked inside the bag, he could tell that these leaves were from Japan.
He didn't understand why Arturia was being so friendly, was it just for the sake of manners? Then again he often pretended to be so nice and caring, why, simply because it was interesting how no one knew that he was faking. "The cookie smell that you mentioned before...I suppose it smells decent..." Hikaru said, finally responding to her earlier question. He figured that ignoring her might have been a bit rude, he didn't feel bad about he just recognized it as poor manners.
"As for the tea I prefer to drink it hot. I don't know though if the cafe will allow us to use our own tea leaves. "

Arturia hadn't noticed the menu's detailed description which entailed the tea's origins. To her own self, she found it humorous that the person whom she was notoriously known as back home hadn't noticed such a small detail. This forced her to smile a bit and then respond,
"Ah I see. Silly me, for not looking carefully. I'm impressed you can tell by looking at the pictures of the leaves. I suppose I've always lived a fairly easy life back home and never noticed such detail. But I certainly do enjoy Japanese green tea, it's the best in my opinion."
Arturia was about to turn her attention back to the menu when Hikaru responded to her previous question from earlier. She was glad he decided to answer her question now, although as to why he decided to now and not earlier didn't concern her much. Her stomach growled in response to the thought of food and the heart-warming scent of cookies.
"Hot green tea for both of us it is then! Oh don't worry about that, I'll just ask for a pot of hot water. I have a special brewing strainer with me. And yes even that I have with me."
Stepping into the Cafe. Madi looked around for a brief moment before deciding she wanted to take a seat outside. Walking back out and over to a small table with two seats, she sat down and began looking over a small paper menu with different drinks. Ordering a simple chocolate chip coffee she smiled to the waiter then placed her hands together and sat in silence. What would the day bring? Anything exciting? Anything new? Or if anything at all? Who knew. Certainly she didn't.

Charles kept walking and stopped when coming up to a cafe, maybe a quick drink would be good before he went to his job. Plus he was only suppose to set his stuff up there was no actual important things he had to do. Charles walked inside and stood in the line for a few minutes before he was in front of the line. Paying for coffee they brought it in a few more minutes and he was walking out when he saw someone. Charles looked at the female for a few seconds before walking over and sitting across for her. Saying nothing for a while as he drank his coffee he said. "Why hello there....may I ask are you a student?" Charles said then continued drinking his coffee.
Raising her head to look at the person who decided to sit across from her, Madi herself didn't speak before nodding slowly, "That I am." She said taking a quick drink of her own coffee, "I wanted to get something to start by day off rather well." Placing her cup down then looking at him for a moment she titled her head to the side, "Why do you ask?"
