Why is it always a pain to get fifteen people to agree on a place to go for dinner and then find a place that won't force you to go family style if you have so many people in your group? Every damn year we always have the same problem and end up begging people to bring home leftovers because these places don't know how to give us two bowls/plates of anything for the entire group. Instead, we end up with four of everything and nobody can finish anything and we're shoving leftovers on people. Why can't these places just let us order off the menu and pay for it instead of being locked into a menu with very limited choices that end up with me never getting what I want because I always get outvoted when it comes to picking what we get. It's no wonder I never speak up now when we plan this stuff. Birthdays in this family are a pain in the a** and we always end up fighting and this year of all years I really don't want to go out because I'm going to miss the closing ceremonies and I don't own a DVR.

I don't know why I even bother going into the Politics and In the News forums. It feels like I'm losing brain cells every time I peek in there because it's nothing more than conspiracy theories and right wing conservative elitism. I guess if you want to keep your brain in tact you should check it at the door when going into those forums.

It feels like I'm losing brain cells every time I peek in there because it's nothing more than conspiracy theories and right wing conservative elitism. I guess if you want to keep your brain in tact you should check it at the door when going into those forums.
lol yes I agree I don't talk politics... most of the time people don't respect your opinions anyway so I just avoid it...

There was one time I peeked into Politics and the forum was celebrating the fact that they don't have a single moderator or forum assistant anymore. The first thing they did, make a prommie list. xp

lol yes I agree I don't talk politics... most of the time people don't respect your opinions anyway so I just avoid it... And with the election close at hand it's bound to get pretty nasty in there so someone should have the foresight to assign a couple of people to work the forum to keep the kids in line.

And with the election close at hand it's bound to get pretty nasty in there so someone should have the foresight to assign a couple of people to work the forum to keep the kids in line.
