Okay... I'm just going to ask my questions again:PrincessMeg Okay. I'm just a bit confused KT.
So, after the current term is over, I'm a 5th year? Because Angil just said she'd appoint Teepet and I as Prefects (I think...) And you need to be a 5th year to be a Prefect.
So, does that mean in the middle of the year (now) we move up a year? I'm just so confused about this.
And, I so feel like a bad Junior Prefect. I kind of just mope around. I don't really understand what to give out points for... Well, I haven't seen students do anything amazing to get points. Or like, helping my Head of House. Eh...
EDIT: Okay, what exactly is a "term"? Is it a year?
Because in reality (at my school) there are 4 terms in the year. Between every term we get reports. There are 2 semesters. Every semester contains 2 terms. At the end of every semester there are exams, and some people switch timtables (courses).
I know it's different everywhere in the world, but I'd just like you to clarify what a "term" is in this guild. Haha... sweatdrop

That's all. Don't worry, you'll still be a junior prefect if you arent old enough to be called a prefect. But I'll have more things for you to do. Trust me.

I received this PM today... Matwix_2006 I've created a Beauxbatons one (which, no one has done before) and wondering if we could link sites, then hopefully someone could create a durmstrang one, so there would be roleplays for 3 different schools? Just a thaught. ((by the way, I'm asking at many other Harry Potter role play places aswell, just incase you say no)) So what do you guys think? I told her that I think it's a good idea, but I told her I'd ask you guys (my guild) for your input 3nodding
Here's the link for the Guild: Click Me!

OK... I'm sorta getting you all off-track... we're supposed to be working on our next term...
Angil has agreed about the mule account idea, and I'm pretty sure she was the only objecting party... so my next questions are...
Do we want this mule to be male or female?I vote boy...because we need more guys and it might attract more of them...maybe? also...just because it sounds like fun to balance us out...my only hesitance is that it feels like that would be a bit patriarchal. But, the way I see it, if we're going to be him...then that means it's not really like a guy being better than a woman... Do we want to give him/her a good RP character/background?That sounds like way too much fun to pass up to me...and I think Angil liked that idea too...but I want to know everyone else's opinion too... What do we want the name of this Gaia person to be (their log-in name)? So we can make it and start working on those thread re-makes.Are we all agreeing that this mule will be captain and headmaster/mistress of the guild? And I suppose, since Pinkie left the guild to me, I'll go back to Vice Captain. Do we mods want to make-up a sort of schedule of when we'll check the PMs of this account. Since, trust me, the captain of this guild gets a lot of PMs from lost/angry members. Or dose one of us want to do it. I don't think I'd have a problem with doing it...I'm already used to checking my other mule accounts.
And then whatever you guys think of...

Here's my original post from a while back... KTweirdchick Problems That Arise in o0Pinkie0o Leaving: No Head who isn't in a House: Let me make it known that I am definitely NOT leaving my position as Head of Hufflepuff. I like it there and I have no desire to give up my House Pride Personally, I liked having the 4 heads and then the Captain who was in charge and posed a non-house-biased picture Maybe us 4 could create a single Mule that all 4 heads will have access to and it will have Mod powersI realize that this is often frowned upon, but it seems like a logical solution It will also enable:all 4 of us to have access to to the same things, I think the current mods have more than earned it give the mods the ability to edit things even when the Captain(s) are unavailablegive a single house-less figure for members to associate with (I think we can all do our best not to be biased while using the account and even if we do it unintentionally, it'll be a 4-way bias) make my life a lot easier in a sense that I will not be required to do things on top of all my other duties just because I'm the only one with Captain-ship I hate to think about it, but if I ever seem to disappear without word, or if any mods seem have disappeared and I'm unavailable, we can ensure that the guild wont die because we will be able to continuously update positions and what-not When we let a non-mod run an event, instead of temporary mod-ship, we can give them the password of the mule (after making them agree not to destroy the guild, mule, or in any way take advantage of our trust) We've had a pretty honest guild, so far, I don't think that we will have too many problems with that The Intro Thread: Should I make a new one, or should we keep the old one? if I'm going to make a new one, do we want it to be exactly the same, or do we want to improve on it possibly make it more simple I've gotten a lot of complaints about people not wanting to read everything in the entrance hall we could make a more elaborate thread and leave it here We could also make a quick post about when to post in the entrance hall, who can post (again in what situations), and what is OK to post (for example:we can tell teachers or guild club-type-thing leaders they can post when they make a new lesson or something like that, but they cannot post them in say the "scream" format and if they choose to make a simple image or post every lesson that there are new lessons for their class, but they can't be 600X600 pixels, because that's madness, people go there to see what's new, they don't need a 600X600 pixel image to do it) The Contest Thread: who's going to be in charge of it, now that pinkie is gone? what are we going to do about the current unfinished contests?people sent money to pinkie with their vote unless no one has told me, pinkie left neither money nor vote count with us the members have been waiting for quite a bit, I think it would be extremely rude to not finish-up this contest...and especially if it doesn't get finished up before the end of term Other Threads that Pinkie made: Should I/we re-make them? The Great Hall The Giggling Pear Guild Banners and Linklist Quidditch Team and Rules Harry Potter FanArt Thread The Staff Room The Library The Hospital Wing "Harry Potter Roleplay" since I'm the Hufflepuff Head, it would be weird if I Re-created multiple a-house-discriminatory threads...
That's all that I can think of for now, tell me if you think of anything else. But other than that, what do you think we should do?

Also, I was hoping we could work out an idea I'd like to get going for next term... A few of you noticed that I posted a bunch of guild-post statistics a while ago... I was wondering if anyone thought it would be a good idea to award the top poster for the term like 50 points... maybe 50 to the house with the most posts, 25 to the student (mods excluded) top poster or maybe 10 points each time a student passes a multiple of 1000 posts (ie:1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, etc.) or a multiple or 500 or something... since, right now, the only way to earn points is homework... and that's just not really some people's cup of tea... some like the discussion forum, some like the games... but yea... I want to give points for high post numbers next term... sweatdrop

sounds good to me. The only thing I am worried about is that having the other guild is supposed to be an all boys guild and there arent many boys around.
