"That has some merit though Jessica has no experience in genetic coding, you have little and I have little prowess in nanomachine coding. We'd all ahve to get together for that and last I saw Jessica was on a rebuilding binge." Holding up a fingers. "And I would have you know if we tried this and one of them died, their blood would be on your hands and I would have license to hate you for at least three years."
"We're done...rest is up to me unless I go haywire." Indeed giving a cringe as everything came back online at once, giving him all sorts of reading as well as neurological download. "That was unpleasant. Okay, you have a mirror? I don't look goofy do I?" Letting Lillia help him to stand, wobbling and flailing a bit as he wasn't accustomed to the change in weight on his back.

"How about you look considerably less goofy then you did before. and yes you shuld know by now there is a full bodied mirror in the reception/recovery area for you to check things out. but before you leave I want a hovering and gliding test for those new jets."
putting away her surgical equipment and washing her hands lightly.
"then you two can go be happy and sunshine somewhere else."
Glancing over at her and giving a small grin.
"I wasn't thinking we'd need all of us. you can't strengthen the genetics for the monkey immunity yourself? or will that require special nonmachines to be designed for it? and we'll treat my echoes first. Cerebus both male and female. no risking the stronger, more lived ones. and certainly not your fenrirs."
tapping his chin lightly.
"I'll make you a deal. we try this, and you don't hate me, and I'll personally refrain from trying to organize your office or your room for at least a year."

"It's not as bulky." Tilting her head and studying him for a moment then reaching out to steady him as he seemed about to lose his balance. She directed him over to the mirror Jessica had pointed to and studied the two of them in it. "I think you look very nice." Her gaze wandered to the clock and she quickly calculated that the day was pretty much gone. Well, that had been a good use of time. It was never a waste to help out a friend. "Can I touch it? Jess said they were safer but I'd rather know for sure before I have my finger sliced off."

"I can. But that all has to be then coded into your standard serum nanomachines and that's not my specialty. You two can handle that with whatever paperwork it is you do." He was still trying to ease her about this by making compromises with her. He at least was barking up the right tree instead of running around it in circles. "Prepare to live and work in mess that is ankle deep."
"Goofy? How mean of you." In front of the mirror he looked at himself from a few different angles, trying to decide if he liked it all or not. "I look kinda...pretty." And pretty usually wasn't a word that was associated with him at all. It was an interesting design style to say the least. A bit of test movement, said movement being a little slow as signals were resyncing and what not. A look to Lillia and he extended his two left sided wings out. "Doesn't bother me. Am I touchable Jess?"

"Yes, your touchable. and thank you for appreciating the hard work and maybe next time you won't complain when I say it's time for an upgrade."
getting her testing instruments ready for the tests she'd requested.
"Oh good lord, it can get ankle deep?"
a slight grin and walking over to her and wrapping his arms lightly around her shoulders, and giving her a peck on the cheek.
"Everything will be fine. and it'll be helpful in the long run."

Studying him from a new angle int he mirror, she frowned. "Pretty isn't quite the word for it, Rennell. You do look very nice though. Handsome, perhaps?" No, that wasn't quite the word either. Lillia didn't consider herself a grand English brain though, so she decided to leave it all alone. "Finish with your tests and then you can come with me to Echo and show off. Besides, I want to show you what my peryton learned over the past couple of weeks."

"Yes. Yes it can get ankle deep. But that's the price you pay and if you tell me I'm exaggerating because I'm in a bad mood and hurting right now then I'm going to make sure I make the mess waist deep and let all the papers smother you." But he was ever trying to comfort her...she really didn't like herself when it was around this time. She was nothing but mean and confrontational. She liked her happy eccentric self. Not this woman.
"I will always complain because you always make me bleed and that always freaks me out." Crossing his arms and letting Lillia touch and such as she pleased. "I suppose showing off would be fun." Or would get him teased but who cared. Moving off with Jessica it was time for tests. And while he didn't have full total precise control as he did before as his aerodynamics had changed. A look to Jessica as he was hovering at the moment. "Gonna take a bit to get this all precise again. I'll put in some practice sessions."

"Oh I know your not exaggerating. just surprised it can get that way. figure Eric or someone would clean it up before it got that bad."
a small pat on her shoulder and walking over to the computer, and sending an email to jessica about the proposed idea, and for her to see if she can get some ideas and plans together.
Jessica nodded lightly.
"Yes, you better. now across the room both ways for me."
glancing at the computer and clicking the email open and giving a small nod and a grin. before moving to another window to start a batch of unprogramed nanobots to be prepared, then watching Rennell.

"Eric got himself laid up our first year here. I was left to my own devices and it all got pretty deep...and yet I was still able to find everything." Turning her attention over to the machines that were running as it gave a few beeps and she pushed a button, reaching into a containment device and pulling out a test tube. "Congratulations, it's a boy." Holding up the vial in display manner.
"Or you'll dismantle me and sic James on me too. I think I can handle that." Doing maneuvers as he was asked and getting the hang of things with passing moments. "I have to give it to you Jess. I feel like I have a lot more control and the like."

"Of course you do. the original MATU unit was designed almost entirely for hard quick military strikes. just to get you by air to point b from point a as quickly as the human body is capable of. But you need more control, maneuverability here. plus, the close quarters means your jets were alot more dangerous. this makes you less dangerous to others, gives you more control, and frankly looks better."
glancing at him and watching how he moved.
"Three times a week in holo room for terrains. that'll help with your control."

"You just have it all figured out don't you?" Still moving about though now he was deviating from direction and playing around a bit. Of course with more seneitive controls now that meant he was breaking hard and flailing some as well to keep balance and not run into walls as well. "Sounds like that'll be fun. Just please don't make James chase me around at the same time. That's just stressful."

She waited patiently, watching Rennell get used to his new appendages and such before she grasped his arm and began dragging him back out. "Say thank you and tell her to have a nice day." Even though it was mostly over. Crazy surgeries taking up all their time. "Now hurry up before Eric locks things down and you get to see nothing."

Jessica only gave a slight grin.
"You're welcome and enjoy yourselves."
she would just let it be a surprise that James had already 'altered' some of the training terrains Rennell used to sporadically shift. she thought it was a good idea for the far more sensitive controls, and it let James get his fun without 'chasing' rennell through them.
So sitting down at her desk, and looking over the nano requests and starting on basic programing. this was going to be tricky, but she enjoyed the challenge.
He looked up and gave a smile and a nod.
"wonderful. Oh and fair warning from Jessica. Rennell's surgery is done. so you know he's going to want to show it off to everyone on thier mothers."

Oh dragging meant time to stop playing and leave. "Thanicday" Smooshing the words together for his own amusement as he wandered out with Lillia though he was still quite twitchy and what not as they walked as his body was adjusting. "What are you in a hurry for? They'll be there tomorrow you know."
"Oh lord, is he going to come poking around? I can't handle him right now. I may hurt him. Or inject him with something of the tranqualizer sorts. That would be funny to see."

"well he is with your overly cheerful assistant, so I imagine she's either dragging him here, or their going somewhere else to show off before coming here. either way, he's bound to show some sometime relatively soon, I imagine."
