Secret Kirari Cuwen Ever winced when Amaryllis started talking about the war. She thought she was going to start trying to convince her to help again, even though she had already agreed to. She thought that the gods were so desperate that they were sending ghosts to talk with her now. However, when Amaryllis tied the war to Ares, she breathed a small sigh of relief. Thankfully, this was all about Ares. She was sad when Amaryllis said that she should give Ares space and not contact him, but really, she had been thinking the same thing in the back of her mind. It was really comforting to know that if she did this and Ares came around, he would be able to make up for it and give even more of himself. That would make the time apart a little easier. This was what was best for Ares, so Ever would be able to do it. She looked back up at Amaryllis and smiled sadly. "Thank you, Amaryllis, for coming here and telling me this. I know it's taken a lot to do that." Amaryllis smiled thinly. "When your Beloved cannot see for themselves, sometimes you must guide them. Sometimes guiding them means to clear their path so they shan't stumble and fall." Her form began to fade, the glow dimming and her entity becoming translucent. "Remember that, Evermore. Sometimes all one needs is nothing, nothing at all. There are things that one must do for oneself."{{I love your avi, Secret! biggrin }} Ever nodded as she watched Amaryllis fade from view. Ever really wished there was a way she could help her, but hopefully the after life would provide the reward she deserved. Ever sighed when Amaryllis was gone and she turned her head to look at Ares. After a few moments of staring at him, she leaned down, kissed his cheek softly, and then slowly, sadly, got off of the bed. She leaned down and placed the white chocolate rose she had brought with her on Ares' nightstand by his bed. It was one of the roses from the group that Ares' had given to her. Finally, Ever turned around and concentrated on her room at Bai Ching. Since she was on Mt. Olympus, she was almost immediately teleported back to her room without hardly any effort given on her part. When she opened her eyes when she felt her feet touch ground again, she saw Raven perched on her desk. Even though she only looked like a ball of light, her glow was soft and seemed sympathetic. Even though Raven did not like Ares, she loved Ever and wanted to be there for her. She felt bad for the young Fury. As Ever laid back down on her bed, Raven went over and settled on Ever's shoulder again. She started to hum softly and soothingly.

Nikolaus was sipping wine from a goblet as he heard her words. Placing it back down upon the table he looked over at Ari with his insane blue eyes. "Tun nicht Sie mögen es? Hat mein Preis anderes Ersuchen um ihre spezielle Mahlzeit? " He asked with a smirk on his lips. A servant began bringing out the salads to begin the ceremonial dinner. Over to the side of the table some were building a large fire to throw offerings of food, to gain the attention of Asgard and most importantly Odin. If he was pleased with his offerings Nikolaus planned to ask for what he needed in exchange for the willfully given life of Ari.

Albtraum Der Angst Musica laid unconscious on the ground, cold and in great pain. That blow to his head wasn't to be messed with, it caused him a lot of damage and would take days to get over it. There had been magic in it, so it was no normal physical wound. Upon opening his eyes he pushed himself off the ground and looked around him with blurry eyes. He was alone, and it was still dark out. Ari nor Nikolaus's aura were anywhere in the vicinity, and silently he cursed to himself for that. Holding on to his aching head he began walking away from the horrendous lake and to the school, he was in no condition to teleport or even just walk home. He'd sleep outside the school and talk to someone in the morning about what had happened.
As he was approaching the school he sensed someone outside as well, and it was a student nonetheless. It wasn't a student he was familiar with, but still a student. Walking over to her from behind he looked down curiously. It was quite late, so what was she doing out here? Surely she hadn't been allowed out here, and besides it wasn't safe here anymore. Gripping his bleeding and aching head he coughed to get her attention. Then he began speaking in his deep German accented voice that drove many mad. He wasn't intently speaking seductively, it just kinda happens sometimes. "Isn't it a bit late to be outside? It's not safe to be alone you know." If she could sense aura she would know he was part God, he was too weak to try and suppress his aura. His icy blue eyes were also a bit of a give away, they revealed much of his power. Nita's eye began to twitch as she felt a presence behind her. Not entirely human, she thought to herself before turning to look in the direction of the voice. She must have lost track of time. It wasn't this dark before she'd began meditating. Her amber eyes looked into his, and her voice took a low tone; she wasn't used to talking to men. "Um. Yes... I'm sorry. I should be going." She stood and unwound her bag strap from her leg, turning on her heal to walk away.

Musica watched her get up and groaned slightly at the pain from his pounding and bleeding head. He swayed on his feet and almost fell as he stood up. Taking off his tank top he tore some strips of it off to wrap around his head as he stood there. Then he looked over to the girl to see she'd not gotten far, and he didn't want her to go. He felt the need to introduce himself, and he simply hated being alone in the darkness. "Wait, you don't have to go. I was merely speculating. Please, tell me your name." He felt desperate, he'd lost Tyler to Nikolaus and son would be losing Ari as well. Tomorrow was a while away, he needed some unknowing company to distract him. Take him away from his pain and sorrow. Sure he would only be using her, but he had to do something. Besides, he really didn't what she would think of his temporary kindness.

Ari raised an eyebrow, looking tons cooler and far braver than she felt on the inside. ” Ich will nicht alles haben Sie mir anbieten,” she said. Some near-human looking demons sitting near her snickered, glancing to Nikolaus and trying not to laugh. ’She’s got sass, that one,’ one guaffed, gently punching Nikolaus on the arm, ’Where’d you find her at?’ Ari just looked away. He wasn’t there… he wasn’t coming. He wasn’t coming because he was scared of the dark. Too scared to save her? She hoped Nikolaus couldn’t read the pain in her eyes.

Nikolaus merely ignored his underlings speaking to him as he watched Ari. She displayed strength, yet within she was shattering. He felt pity boil up in his stomach, and actually thought of himself as a liberator to her. He'd be removing her from her pain, which for some reason caused him pain. "Es würde die klugen Junge sein, eine, zum dieser Mahlzeit zu genießen. Sie wissen nie, wann eine Mahlzeit Ihre dauern ist." He said smiling as he placed a forkful of the gourmet salad into his mouth. After chewing it and sipping more wine from his goblet, he then spoke more than he'd planned. "Ihre Liebe kommt nicht, ärgert sich nicht über ihr. Er ist nichts aber ein spineless Weakling, ein Körper ohne Seele." He wanted her pain to calm, because he couldn't stand the pain she was causing him from. Nikolaus didn't realize it, but it was because of their connection he felt this pain. His magic lived within her, so she was a part of him.
((Translation 1: It would be wise young one to enjoy this meal. You never know when one meal will be your last.
Translation 2: Your love is not coming, do not fret yourself over it. He is nothing but a spineless weakling, a body with no soul.

No doubt about it, pain flashed across her face as if he’d slapped her. She also saw something in his eyes… pain as well? Their bond was strong, and she could sense the light-magic he’d given her flare up again, as it always did when they were close. She gasped a little. Nikolaus had given her sight… not Musica. She felt her heart tearing, and this pain was worse than dying. ” Er ist nicht schwach,” she said clearly, ” Er unterdrückte sie, nicht wahr?” The demon’s eyes narrowed… she was walking a dangerous line.
She wore her pain openly on her face now. Ari wasn’t trying to guilt trip him, but let him know how she honestly felt in the hope of maybe getting an honest answer from him. One that wasn’t in riddles.
(#1: He’s not weak. He suppressed you, didn’t he? #2: ... but I freed you. I guess it was you that had all the passion for me, no? Musica seemed distant afterwards. Or was that all a game too? I guess I will forever be remembered as a means to an end.)

{{Yeah. For those of you who are using another language, can you put the translation at the bottom of the page in OoC like Rrine does, please? Thank you! biggrin }}
{{And for those of us kind of 'stuck' on what to do, I'm going to go ahead and move the story forward to the next day, Sunday, I think. Those of you still RPing the night before, please feel free, as usual, to take your time finishing that scene and then just jump in the next day whenever you want. smile }}
Ever slowly woke up the next morning at around 10. Usually she got up earlier, but after all that had happened recently, she was surprised she was up as early as she was. She had almost expected to sleep the entire day away.
When she started to get up, Raven flitted off of her shoulder and landed on the desk. "Good to see you're up! You go shower and get ready, and then we can stop by Akira's room and then go down for breakfast! That's what both of you need!"
Ever smiled and chuckled softly at her familiar. "Alright, Raven. I'll be right out."
About half an hour later, Ever emerged from the bathroom with towel-dried hair and a pair of jeans on along with an army-green long-sleeved light shirt on. She didn't want to blow dry her hair since that wasn't good for it, even if she was a goddess.
She smiled as she stood by the desk and waited for Raven to hop up on her shoulder. When she did, she walked out of her room and walked to Akira's room. Kilala must have left Ever's room to go to Akira's late in the night.
Facing the door, Ever raised her hand and rapped three times.

His eyes were heavy as he sent the demons a mental warning to leave the girl be. Death was coming her way, might as well let her enjoy the bit of time she would have alive. "Ich lasse zu, dass er Energie dann hatte. Jetzt ist er wenig Whelp ohne mich ein pathetisches und ein verloren. Mich zu haben war herum für ihn als außen besser, aber das war kein gutes für auch nicht von uns." He swiveled the wine within the goblet slowly, thinking deeply or at least appearing so. What would it matter to reveal himself to her? She was a dead woman walking, so his secrets would die along with her. He said clearly in monotones. The creatures around the table expressed nothing, being too ignorant to understand the enormity of the situation. Or even the language itself.
((Translation 1: I will admit that he had power then. Now he is a pathetic and lost little whelp without me. Having me around was better for him than without, but that was no good for either of us. Translation 2: You were the chance for us to both get what we wanted. Freedom from each other. You had an appeal to you that I admit I desired more than he. I had more control than you all thought, and manipulated his mind into caring for you. With us both feeling emotion at the same time it gave me an opening to escape. Without me your meaningless to him. Not that I did not consider making you my girl, but I can already see you would not like that. A real pity. ))

After a couple of minutes, Akira opened the door with a bright, sleepy smile.
"Hey! Morning. I'm just gonna finish combing my hair, kay?" the girl greeted/asked, before walking back to her desk, picking up her brush, and continuing to brush her long dirty blond hair, careful not to hit her dog ears.
Kilala was curled up on the made up bed, still sleeping soundlessly, and smiling as a patch of sunlight from the window shined over her spot.
"You know, we got a hell of a lot to talk about today, plus, we gotta go to the room!" Akira reminded Evermore with a grin, eager to learn about her element and real parents.
"Oh, do you want me to heal those faint hand prints by the way?" she asked, putting away the brush and walking over, inspecting her best friend's face carefully, but not invading personal space.

Ari laughed. ” Devious. She took a grape off a bunch in the middle of the table and popped it into her mouth. She gave him a sly smile, and a wink. She wasn’t terribly hungry, but felt that it was polite to eat something. She also pitied him, deep down. "It's borderline pathetic," she mused, taking another grape, "Talking with you made me realize just what I was missing. It was all right before my eyes!"
(#1: Clever. I see that I underestimated you... a mistake on my part. As for not wanting to be your girl... I'm unsure. After you were gone from Musica, I was frightened to tell him something. I was scared to tell him that I was connected to you, and secondly, that I had lost most of my feelings for him. We didn't click like those first few days, I could tell. I grew frustrated, and thought that I must be mistaken. Infatuation, one might call it. Guess we were both wrong. Now I'm a dead-woman. Ironic isn't it?)

{{Question again! I like to think that these questions of mine in OoC from time to time help clear up any confusion others might have as well. Otherwise, I would just as them in PM. smile So, is Ari just lying to Nikolaus about not having feelings for Musica? Because she had actually seemed to have a lot of feelings for him, even at the party. And just a little bit ago, she gave herself to Nikolaus in order to protect Musica, even though they've only known each other for a few days. Is she just lying to Nikolaus right now?}}

His head rested on his hand as he listened to her speech. It was all meaningless ramble to him now, she'd made her first choice and so it would remain. After their deal he could no longer go back after his body until she was dead. Whether or not she begged him, as much as he might want to, he would finish the task and gain his power. Hell, without his yin he'd come to caring less about Beauty anymore and more on power. Maybe that was Musica's evil from the start, his killing of innocent average people. He carefully watched her more free like behavior, wondering just what he had missed. If these were her attempts to change his mind they were quite pathetic. "No matter what you've realized, your fate is sealed. Your going to grant me what I desire most in exchange for your willingly given soul. It may not be willing now, but it was given to me with the deal. Your soul is mine to give." He then began dining on the bowls of soup the demons brought out for them, even if Ari wouldn't eat any she still was given a bowl.
