Kareswen glanced up at the sun. The man's claim was interesting, but if this turned out to be a trap and he had allies nearby, she had already stayed too long. "I better get going." She said abruptly. "If I were you I'd go through near the gates where the security is laxer. There's a rock face to the south that is easy to climb from the bottom and juts out, making you more difficult to see. It gets harder as you go up and the orcs are too clumsy to make the climb so I'd recommend you took a stout rope minimum. It's a dangerous route." She nodded again, scanning the horizon. She couldn't see anything suspicious, but that didn't mean anything. "Farewell." She said formally.

Kareswen watched him go, biting her lip in indecision. She fidgeted in the saddle, hesitating and then swore under her breath. With a short sigh she followed, heading eastwards. "Wait." She called after him.

Kareswen looked down, then swung herself out of the saddle, leading the horse as she caught him up. "It's not a climb you could make alone." She muttered, wondering exactly when she had lost her sanity. "I'd better come as well."

Kareswen gave him a sharp look, suspecting sarcasm, but didn't answer as she followed.

"You can put your packs on the horse if you want." She added, as if sensing his discomfort. "It might make things easier."

"You're welcome." Kareswen replied, pleased that he had accepted the offer.

As if sensing his gaze, Kareswen turned to meet it, surveying him frankly. If he was allowed to openly look at her, she couldn't see any reason for him to object to her doing it. Her eyes traced his features, his posture and finally his clothes. He looked genuine enough, she reflected.
