He got in the boat and sat next to Emiri, he reached for his belt and let out his swablu out " Swablu, scan the skies for any pokemon that might be heading out way. Suddenly a murkcrow flew over to Alex whit whit a note from his mother, he took the Murkcrow and got it into a pokeball.

Kaya felt the burning sense of loss, just as Brayden did. He'd really been looking forward to meeting his lover's family at last and now this had to happen to him. He knew it wasn't anywhere near as strong in him as it was in the Water Trainer's heart, but the pain was still shared.
"I haven't been back to Pastoria even once since I started my journey. I can't say it's pathetic. I'm sure the orphanage staff might miss me, but they aren't supposed to expect me to come back, right? I don't really know what it's like for family to want to see you again." His heart sank into his stomach as those words left his mouth. Such a blatant lie. How could he keep doing this? He had to tell his friends the truth after this was over. Now wasn't the time.
"They'll be fine, Bray. If the sword had been able to actually destroy anything, why would the events in the past have affected the future? Everything will go back to normal once we smash that stupid sword back into tiny little pieces." He wasn't so sure of that, himself but it who wouldn't say something to try and encourage others. And themselves.
"Lance will never have another chance to do this again. We'll make sure of it." He could feel the power swelling within him at the outrages Lance had causes so many times already.
He followed his lover onto the pier, taking his hand and leading the way onto the ship's deck when they reached the end. "Let's go find him and end this, once and for all."

Emiri clung to the railing, sitting on the inner edge of the deck, away from the edge facing the water, as everyone around her conversed and such being on the boat, pokemon even more so than their trainers. Her only focus was Gyarados swimming along side the boat, following by Emiri's side. Thankfully she hadn't gotten sea sick, that was the least of her worries, because of how nervous she was of being out on the water. She almost hadn't seen Alex sit next to her, letting out his Swablu, because she was so focused on not focusing on being on a boat.
Occassionally she would look up to the open sea sky, seeing various pokemon flying about, which was more than enough for her to focus on flying. Her focus was almost shot when she heard the eerily familure roar of a pokemon flying over head. At the roar, Emiri flashed back to the fossils in Pewter City, looking up to find a massive Aerodactyl flying over the boat, casting a shadow that was as big as the boat. Emiri watched in wonderment at the near mythilogical pokemon, wondering what it would be like to train with one. Watching it as it soared through the sky over the boat, it shifted its direction, though it still seemed like it was heading in their general direction.

Emiri had been watching the other Aerodactyl in the distance, before noticing another overhead, belonging to one of the trainers that was traveling with them. Emiri hadn't moved her gaze from the Aerodactyl she was watching, but her gaze slightly followed as someone sat in front of her. Looking to the trainer in front of her, low and behold it was the one with the Aerodactyl, that seemed less than pleased to be under his ownership, but also the trainer with the Charmander that she noted. Emiri looked to him, clearly her nervous demeanor reflecting in her eyes.
"Hello. You're the Sinnoh trainer with the Charmander, right," she offered as a small greeting, anything to keep her mind off being on a boat.

"Well, yes I was I suppose," Emiri said, reffering to staying in the outskirts of the group durring introductions.
"It's nice to meet you Kage. My name is Emiri," she said, trying to return an eased smile, as she caught sight of Gyarados swimming next to the boat.
"My starter is a Charmander too, well to say the least. She's a Charmeleon now," Emiri said, trying to strike up maybe a small conversation to keep her mind on other things.

As the ship took off in pursuit of the Kingdra when the dragons had recovered enough to return to their master, Bray watched the ocean pass by, leaning over the railing. He allowed Zeke, Taise, Reva, and Luc to follow along beside the boat, and the group even played a bit. Brayden was a bit surprised to find that Luc could keep up with the ship, but the Magikarp proved that he could do so quite easily. The fish had noticed Emiri's Gyarados, but stayed a reasonable distance away from him for the time being.
However, Zeke had spotted Aku's Wartortle, and was noticeably bolder than the Magikarp. Zeke propelled himself through the waves, and then proceeded to try to initiate a game of tag, darting past the other turtle with a wide grin of challenge.
Brayden watched his Pokemon for a while, before heading back to take a seat, trying to ignore his fears for the time being. He needed to stay focused for whatever was to come, he was sure of that. No matter how much he felt the opposite, Brayden needed to remain strong. The others were just as worried about the situation as he was. And fretting over things wasn't going to do anyone any good.
'Don't worry boss, we'll kick his butt,' Ariadne chimed in mentally from her Pokeball. Brayden didn't think it in him, but he did chuckle quietly at that.
The water trainer sat back, watching the others. He felt a bit bad for not being more outgoing with him. Usually he was excited about meeting new people in his journey. He just hoped he'd get a chance to chat with them a bit.

Aku watched as Brayden's pokemon initiated the game of tag. With a laugh he cheered on, "Go get 'im wartortle!" Aku looked off into the distance at the looming island. The only thought in his mind was how much more fun they could have after this whole scandal was taken care of. It was a great thing to make friends.. even if the circumstances you found them were dire.. It hadn't been a long trip as of yet, but Emiri was slightly getting used to the idea of being on a boat, but still not at all comfortable with it. While she kept her mind on other things, she had a few exchanges with Gyarados, trying to keep her talking to pokemon on the down low, and watched as other pokemon followed along side their ship from air and sea.
The vastness of it all, the seemingly never ending scape of the open water was something Emiri had never fathomed before. From every angle it looked as if the water went on forever in each direction, and with it, so did the sky. She had never seen the ocean before, living on a small ranch in Pallet Town, but knew along the way of her travels, it would come up eventually, but not as soon as it did, or under the circumstances either. But in any case, she was intruiged by it all, only wondering now when she would be able to see snow for the first time.
