Sumner barely had enough time to comprehend the situation, having had to close his eyes and brace himself as the people pushed past him, making sure to kneel and cover any extremities that may have been hurt in the stampede. Eventually though the shoving stopped and when he opened his eyes, he realized that the shadow people were still there, only going through him now, but every time they passed through him. It blocked his vision a bit, but it was a lot less chaotic.
That is, until something lit up and burst into flame. A tent it seemed, and a large reptillian-looking head roared and Sumner suddenly felt as though he were going to overheat. From almost freezing to feeling like he was on fire, though when he checked he couldn't see any flames. It was as though they were in an oven though with no way to escape. All he could do again was brace himself, unwilling to go forward and do anything until he knew that he could.

Kami had been able to avoid getting hurt too much, but he was likely to have bruises the next time he could see himself in front of a mirror. And eventually the people turned into mere shadows, and for a moment he wondered if the shadowness was caused by the light that seemed to be getting brighter by the second.
It wasn't until the dragon, or at least what he was going to call a dragon, appeared and decided that it was going to smoke everyone that he had been able to move again and mostly avoided the flames, but still feeling quite a bit of heat.
He eventually found some large rocks and planned to hide behind one of them so as to avoid the dragon's flames, but these were not very firmly planted rocks and as he pushed himself against one, it easily fell into a chasm below and put out some flames. Clearly these shadow-things could also put out the fire-light.

The flames flickered around her and she absorbed the pain she was feeling. Ah, the spirits seemed to be evolving now. Seeing the claws and hearing the roar she didn't feel fear rather she found it felt like the creature would be quite cute. Chihaya seemed to absorbed in the pain and the exciting things around her to even try attacking the monster.

Sailor Ananke, Senshi of Portals (Roll History: 3 + 8 + 7 + 8 )Flames reflected in Ananke's eyes it seemed like she got a second wind as she managed to yank the boy up back onto the stable part of the ground they were standing on. Doing that made her avoid any pain from the oncoming heat. Looking around she saw the strange figures in front of them and with a quick dash she knocked down the large rock causing the fire to be smothered out below them. Releasing the breath she was holding she looked back to the boy. "Ha thank goodness you are alright..." She glanced around for a second before she remembered. "...Adorea! Oh no..." She looked and couldn't see her companion anywhere. "She must have fell off the ledge."

Captain WolframiteHe was on fire, and he could smell himself cooking. Singing hair and fur that at his body and cling up his chest. Everything was cheering black and ember red as his skin bubbled and sizzles under his melting others. It was painful to breath and sweat was drilling off of him as a chorus of screams came to crash like cymbals over and over against his sensitive ears.
He knew their voices as they called out to him, screaming for help while also pleasing for them all to stay strong. To not say a single name. A single identity. A single word to them as they continued to dry him over..
But he wasn't chained, and in that he crossed his arms and dig his claws into his clothes and shoulders and raked down, pulling his coat off and fearing his uniform to give him relieve from the fire and sweltering pain that suffocated all air and blurred his vision to licking flames of red and yellow.
It was so hard to breathe now.
His ears twitched as he felt a hand but the screaming and pounding if his heartbeat booked in his ears and swirled like a.bubbking cauldron spilling into his chest and burning him inside and out.

Sailor PolyhymniaRoll Tally: 5+9+10+8Nia called out as it seemed Brioche ran off into the chaos, before pulling herself together (or trying her best to, at least), balling her hands up into fists at her side and taking in her surroundings. Fire everywhere, heat replacing the cold and dreary feel there had been, making it feel as if they had descended through the two concepts of hell now: fire and ice. Luckily, she happened to enjoy heat and nothing seemed to hurt her, though the light was blinding and difficult to look through. Seeing rocks off to the side, Nia went and used her leg to push over one, letting it fall until there was a poof and some of the flames were eliminated. MoonKitsune just a backfill at this point!

Daphne Emmerson4 + 7 + 1 + 10Daphne swallowed hard and did pull, managing to get herself back onto the platform, and it seemed as though she did it just in time. Suddenly it seemed that there was fire everywhere, and the girl yelped, moving to shield the cat who had helped her back up with her body and murmuring soft, comforting nonsense at him, hoping to keep him calm, though she felt anything but that emotion herself.
“We…we’re okay…you’re right. We’ll be fine. Just a little bit and we…”
There was a god damn. Mother ******** dragon on top of the circus tent, and for a moment, Daphne swore she felt her very soul leave her body. They weren’t going to be okay. Nothing would ever be okay.
But…she hadn’t burned up yet, and even as the flames looked as they were erupting everywhere, she hadn’t yet combusted.
“Damnit. Maybe we will die but…I’m not going to go out like a marshmallow!” She stood up again, drawing the fluffy cat into her arms and shoved herself against a rock, causing it to fall on top of one of the jets of flame. Maybe she could smother it? But…even better. The rock seemed to be made of something that did all the work for her.

Lazurite7 + 6 + 8 + 4 With the sudden burst of heat, the other corrupt was completely and utterly pushed out of her mind, and Lazurite hissed softly, wiping her suddenly sweating brow and scooping up her braided pigtails so that they didn’t catch fire. In this heat, she was terribly afraid of that, and with good reason, or at least she thought there was good reason for worrying.
Her eyes filled with a sudden, confused fear as she saw the…the dragon coming out of the flames that was once the tent.
The corrupt felt her mouth gaping open. This was a for real fairy tale dragon right from a book…what was the point of this!
There was no way to survive against…against a creature like that. Hesitating, the blonde looked around, a whimper sticking in the back of her throat. It was hot, and now she was very, very afraid.

5 + 4 + 10 + 6 = 25Lavendulan looked up at Tinakesite helplessly. It was as if he could neither hear nor see them even though they knelt in front of him. Whatever those images she saw... those feelings she felt… that voice she heard. It was that woman, the senshi with orange hair who had him now. Like in those memories, he was reacting as if his body was on fire, clawing at his clothes as if trying to put them out. Yes, it was undoubtedly hot in here, even she could feel the heat through her scales, but the fires were a ways away. So Laven did the only thing she could think of and put both her hands on either side of his fact to try and get him to look at her not the senshi who had hurt him. “I’m sorry,” she spoke softly then shifted into her water form. Laven lifted her hands above his head and between them she formed a globe of water then immediately let it go. If his mind wanted to make him believe that he was on fire then the only thing she could think of to get him back was to make him believe it had been put out.
