The hoops of course ended any rally she had early, setting her ablaze once more, tangled in the burning hoops she tried to claw free before simply laying down and letting the fire consume. Screw this. She was done for the day. Cricket was getting grouchy about this anyway.

Only one more attempt a day.
That was the ultimate deal Cricket had laid down. She was sick of seeing Sammy show up burned, shot, and half dead every hour of the day so the nurse had laid down the law. Only one attempt a day, should failure happen, fine, but appear twice in the Infirmary from this course and she was likely to just leave the poor ghoul in her bad state.
So it was onto plan B. Getting help, what better place to start then with someone who had just as much interest in talking to Nox as she did?
As a result she stood at the edge of the course arms crossed waiting for Israfel to arrive. When the Siren finally did she offered a wave. "Thanks for coming. This course is umm... frankly just as piss awful hard as it was the first time really."

Flying to the area, Israfel took his sweet time to join Sammy on the course. Mostly because he kept just..looking at it. As if it was some cryptic puzzle he had to solve. When he attempted to get to her, the smell of singed feathers could be had as a very frazzled Israfel scooted over to the zombie ghoul.
"This course is on fire." A simple enough observation. "You're going to die."
A morbid observation.

"Ten times Israfel, ten. Eleven if you count the first time this place was opened to us to test ourselves against. What's twelve compared to that?" She gesture to the gnomes now, "They even started a betting pool how long it will take me to pass or just flat out give up. Some of the more ambitious ones have even taken to sabotage."
As a case in point she started to sprint towards the hurdles, she took a running leap just as a hail of small arms fire filled the air, a stray round slipped between her shoulders spinning her just as she went to jump landing halfway onto the burning hurdle.
She barely sighed as the flames took her down again. She simply waved to Israfel before vanishing in a mist of purple.

Another day another try.
She took a running start for the hurdles once more, her body ignorant to all pain as she tested the limits of her FEAR. What started out as a good idea with good intentions quickly back fired. While she felt no pain, she didn't feel the flames licking her legs on the first jump which soon spread to her whole body before she could even finish the first set of hurdles.

She was falling, right towards a burning hurdle, it was going to suck, she knew it would. It would really really suck.

Sammy ignored his whining objections.
She was too busy punching burning fish skitters out of the air to care
When she finally reached the end she practically fell over face first laughing hysterically. "JACK ******** DAMN WE DID IT ISRA!" She spread her arms and legs out in a celebration of a pose while still laying down, it was like an undead starfish in the dirt. "We ********... we did it. We did it."
