Tahki dipped, dived, rolled and flipped with elegance only a Gryphon could possibly have.
Sadly for Sammy she did not have such grace and as the two raced towards the monster Sammy was lost. A wave of fire coming too close caused her to flinch and plumit from Tahki's back.
When Tahki flipped upside again with a shrill shriek of terror, she turned to find her new friend gone.
Tahki was not amused,

What. The Jacking. Hell. Was. That. Thing. AND MOREOVER WHAT WAS IT DOING HERE???
It definitely looked more like it belonged in Halloween!! After having narrowly dodged the flames that burst out, all the lightning dragon really wanted to do now was KEEP AVOIDING THEM. Shiiiiiiiiiittttttt

Tybalt didn't like the looks of this cloud. In fact, he was down right terrified. "I... I don't think it's the ninja..."

Riley watched a jet of fire come barrelling her way. The flames flickered in the reflection of her eyes, and she barely managed to sink a little further into the water before she was engulfed completely. When the smoke cleared, there was nothing left but some charred pieces of something that looked eerily like fried calamari.
This too dissipated into particles, and she was off to re-animate at the infirmary.

Watching the clouds, Jericho emitted a low growl, though his eyes widened as he found himself staring at a much LARGER dragon. The red dragon was easily dwarfed by the monstrosity and he had to wonder if this was on par with an elder... One thing was for certain, there likely wasn't much he could do against it without FEAR in his arsenal.
Avoiding the first set of flames, he glanced down to see that some of the students were now gone. But he wasn't done yet. He did his best to do some aerial maneuvers to avoid getting blasted by the damn beast.
Fire might not hurt him normally, but he wasn't about to test out his flame resistance here.

"C'mon!" West said, dropping Yaya's arm in favor of her hand and dodging to the side, trying his damnedest not to be immolated.

If Alwine had shrieked before... well, let's just say that the ghoul was auditioning for the part of a banshee.
"Tha... that's not Jingleberry!!"
She could barely get the sentence out before flames roared down towards her like a waterfall. Alwine was happy that she was clumsy, for once, because falling back on her rear was a very good thing... given that the area where she had been standing was a nice charred color.
She struggled up to her feet to continue her dodging dance.

"AMRITA." Lizzy yelled just as the thing descended, glad to see that her friend had managed to dodge the flames, "RUN. RUN NOW." Then, realizing that the Undead had a terrible fear of everything fire-related, the Demoness grabbed her hand, squeezed it, and started to drag her away, "Scream and run if it makes you feel better! BUT MOVE."

Christof would have been amazed by his new acquaintances heroic dodging, if he had not been consumed by a firey blast the moment he looked up from his shoe laces.
Firey wings and the scorching blast would be seared into his eyes and nightmares even after he reanimates in the infirmary.

The scream that followed the appearance of the.. What. The. Jack. Was. That. Thing!?! Destroyer of worlds!??
When West grabbed her hand she hastily hiked up the length of her coats, running along with him as he dodged and ducked around the fire that was rainig down around them. All she could do was hold on for dear life and hole to Hecate the boil leading her knew what he was doing.

Tybalt nearly squeaked. That was definitely not a ninja! That was more like a impossibly huge demon cat! Oh Jack! Of all the possible things to come across! Why THAT!?
He didn't stop to think long. Soon after it appeared, it had them running frantically about, trying to dodge it's flames. "BLOODYMARYCANDLEJACKLKDGJNDLGJKSGN! WE'RE SCREWED!"

Mandy would later rave and smash things over her anger at how she froze at the terrifying sight of the monsterous dragon but now all she could do is let out an ear splitting scream of terror and pain as the flames burnt her to little more than ashes.
Her last coherent thought was that she wished the others would safletly get away from the beast.

Barth's own obliteration snuck up on him.
He had somehow failed to notice the giant christmas kitten dragon the size of a mountain.
He really should have followed Colette. He was going to. Pay better attention to survival instincts instead of legs next time, that was the lesson here.

PHASE 2: If normal Death Charms were about the size of a large Demon Cat (with miniature toy hills), this creature was an abomination of an abomination. It was probably the mother Death Charm, out to get revenge on the students who would carry away its spawn. Its glowing eyes locked on the handful of students left as it stretched out its wings, challenging.
" Pain. Agony. My hatred burns through the lands of Joy. Christmas heaves with my torment. Its wretched gingerbread houses quake beneath my rage. But at last, the whole of Christmas will break! And all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings! "
Heralding its cries were fireballs. Massive fireballs falling from the sky, dissipating quite a few who were in their line of sight.
RULES:
- If you rolled A 100 OR LESS your student is back in the infirmary. This is an INSTANT KO, no pumpkin pills, nothing. Poof! You do get to unlock this awesome Feat of Strength for attempting to be heroic, though. - If you rolled 101 or HIGHER we are on to Phase 2. Try you best to dodge the fireballs and roll THREE 100 sided dice. Good luck survivors!
