"Uh, sure," Anetka replied. "It's not like I got somewhere to be anyway!"
She laughed at what Cur said. She could tell he wasn't an average person, and she wondered What is he doing in Gutre of all places?
As Anetka took a seat at the bar she thought, and she thought hard.

Cur sat down beside her and ordered them drinks. He didn't make them strong. "Why have you been lounging around here? Don't you have something better to do?"
He leaned back in the chair and it seemed almost like anti-gravity how far he was leaning back.

"It's not that I don't have anything better to do it's just that I have NOTHING else to do. When you saw me I was just about to go home and sleep. I'm usuall alone for the most part. Go home alone, live alone, go out alone... Talking with you is actually a nice change." Anetka said sort of defending herself...
She took a sip of the drink placed before her.

Cur didn't touch his drink. He was rather uninterested in it. "Haven't you ever prayed to the Gods for something to do?" He asked, half serious half joking. "They could probably help."
He put the legs of his chair back on the ground and leaned on the bar looking at Anetka. "Besides... What would be the harm?" He asked with a mocking smile.

"I have prayed to the Gods, but not for something to do," Anetka said with a little chuckle. "I assume they have better things to do than give ME something to do. I prayed to them, to help me find who killed my family. I prayed for someone to find me, to save me from my loneliness."
She looked at Cur, "I guess they answered me... Strangly, though, I have noticed that you are on the 'straight-and-narrow'. You don't drink, you seem to trust the Gods, and yet you are in Gutre of all places! Tell me, who are you and why are you here?"

Cur smiled and tipped his drink, looking at the surface where his reflection resided. "So I've saved you from your loneliness?" He asked sincerely.
When she asked about who he was and why he was there he couldn't help but laugh. "I am Cur. Entertainer extrordanair!" He joked as he flipped the chair back, doing a backflip.
He wasn't about to tell her the truth. He wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. "I am here becuase you looked lonely." He said seriously.

Anetka tried very hard to keep her drink in her mouth. After she swallowed she couldn't help but laugh. It felt strange, she hadn't truly laughed in ages.
"I don't intend on totally believing you, but that was funny," she chuckled. She twirled her glass in her hand, "Not everybody wants to talk about who they are. I completely understand. It's fine. And, yes. Thank you."
Anetka didn't expect a response when she said thank you. She actualy felt a little embaressed because she had only just met Cur a little while ago.

"You look pretty when you smile." He said, a bit of joking apparent in his voice but he really did mean it.
Cur pouted. "Why don't you believe me?" He had always been a horrid liar but getting girls to like him wasn't that hard. It was just a perk of being the only humanoid male god.
"Besides, if I told you the truth I would be in a load of trouble with the gods." He winked.

"Oh, thanks," Anetka blushed. In her mind, she think she knew who Cur was by the last comment he made. Anetka yawned, although she tried to hold it back.
"I should go home now," she said as she got up from her chair. She looked at Cur and thought about hugging him, but she stopped. "Thank you. For everything."

Cur smiled and waved. "Goodnight."
He waited for her to leave before transporting himself back to God's Kingdom.

By the time Anetka reached her house the sky was pure black, no stars, no clouds, and even the moon's light wasn't as bright. She trudged up to her room, changed into something comfortable, and plopped onto her bed. Shortly after she fell asleep.

The next morning, Anetka had an unusual though. "I'll go exploring today." She hadn't left the city in ages, and she wasn't sure why this thought popped into her head. She got dressed into her usual attire, her stealth clothes just in case.
She headed out the door and went to the nearest bar. She asked around for ideas about places she might like to go. Seomone finally suggested Qorintu, because people in her line of work gathered there and many were picked up in seconds and offered jobs. She'd never heard of Qorintu before, so she got full directions before heading out.
"Next stop, Qorintu," she said as she checked her pistol for amo.

Raiui leaned back in one of the chairs and put her hands behind her head. Sighing boredly, she waited to be served. When the waiter came and hurriedly placed her Root Beer on the table, she hissed and he ran off even faster than he had come. She snickered while picking up her glass.

Strale sighed as he looked around yet another bar in Gutre. He had already looked through quite a few and now found many that had good information. A few had looked promising, but they knew nothing of substance. Maybe I shouldn't have come here after all. I might as well get a drink.
Approaching the bartender, he ordered the strongest beer they had. Of course, the waiter raised an eye first at what Strale was and then what he was ordering, but got the drink anyways. Strale chuckled a little at that. Beer, or wine for that matter, didn't really affect him, no matter how strong it was. He would have to drink mass quantities to get drunk. Once the drink had arrived, he sat at a table in the corner, so he could see the whole room. This bar was more shadowy than most, so he couldn't see many of the occupants. That was a problem because he had no idea whether he should talk to them or not and whther it would be a risk. Oh well, i've asked in enough places that word should get about that i'm looking for information. Someone will come eventually, though I have no idea how long that will take. As he brooded over this, he took a big gulp of the beer, leaving half of it in his mug.

A wiery looking man who had been sitting at the end of the bar had watched the tigeral walk in and get his drink. Impressed by what he ordered the skinny looking man took a new intrest in the big cat person and polished off his beer before getting up to slink around the tavern.
Making his way over to the table the tigeral was at in a sneeky fashion, the man took the seat just infront of the other and gave a twisted smile that most shrunk away from. His face was rather common place, save for the four diaginal scars that ran across his face from right to left.
"And what, I wonder, is a big fella like you looking for in a place like this?" He said, twisting his words to make them sound like he knew more about this person than he did. But maybe he did know. From the smell of him alone one could tell he was a WereRat, which made most of the things he could tell you very valuable.
