One thing was safe to say, at least other people in the current place knew better than to lower their own guards. For some it could have been casual in their demeanor. For some, it could have been for mysterious purposes and goals, that Therese had no care to dwell upon. She herself had been another story. Keeping one's guard up while around potential rivals and strangers was a must if one wished to survive. Being careful, and calculated was the main iteria on her behalf. Perhaps her own observations would soon enough bring a sort of result. That was by chance of an arrival to her direction. From gazing the room, her eyes had fallen upon the woman with the crimson hues, approaching with quite the grace, kicking it in the heels she wore upon her feet. Even the way her pigtails cascaded behind her steps added the hint of elegance one would expect from a possibly higher styled life style. That was only based on what Therese could actually conclude, without prying into the woman's actual life. "Good day," Her hello one of etiquette.
The tune of that would change to confusion, as the reason for the woman's approach had left her speechless. Appreciate her up close and personal? The largest case scenario had to have been from a passing of earlier glancing about. That had to be it. There was no mind on her behalf to the other woman's point of view on the world, or how she expected the world's reaction to be. This was not her business, though it did bring out the more curious side of Therese. Based on the woman's voice, she was definitely not from around these parts. That explained so much, based on the presence alone. "Thank you for your compliment upon my eyes miss. I must admit it is habit to see the variety of those around. As usual, it has resulted with a pleasant surprise." Speaking a compliment in her own, ethereal sort of way, Therese would indeed be more unsure based on the gesture Rosaline would make with her hand. Did this girl believe she was royalty? Or was she actually royalty? Based on the angle of Rosaline's hand, it was aware that a simple handshake would have a possible result of insult. This clearly showed culture to be both interesting, but kind of like walking on glass. Any wrongful step resulting in despair and insult at any given time.
The most Therese could do in this kind of situation was to take her own hand, gently rest her fingers and upper palm under Rosaline's hand, and bow her head down to her direction, her head lowered, but nowhere near kissing the hand itself. Hopefully this would properly suffice, or at least be a decent attempt in a proper greeting. Considering she knew almost nothing on Rosaline's culture. The last thing she had wished to impose on the diplomat was a question asking where she was from. Hooray by the fact that Rosaline had said so on her own accord afterwards, her name and title included. "My, that is quite the long but pretty name." The whole introduction had explained so much!!!!! Thankfully there were no need for repeating oneself, Therese having learnt english from her father. "Ah... My apologies for being rather dubious towards you your grace. I am Therese Nightingheart, with no special title of my own aside from my family name." Speaking to royalty was an interesting change of pace, that much could be admitted. There were no issues with her keeping calm and composed as usual, with only a minor wonderment now as to why a princess had chosen this party to attend.

After finishing her small plate of food, she stood back up not being very satisfied with what she had gotten so far, more was needed to satisfy her stomach. As she walked back to the table she drank the remaining part of her drink as she tossed it in the trash and walked back to the food table. As she was walking towards the food table without realizing she was walking towards a person in her haste she moved side ways quickly just before she was about to run into a pink haired girl. Luckily she had only slightly bumped into her as she moved away from her a little bit and made a small bow. "Ah v..very sorry I...I didn't realize I saw you! I was just being hungry, sorry again." She said quickly before moving closer to the food table to see what was there, but she started to take some of the little sandwiches there as she took a bite to try out the taste. It wasn't long before she ended up liking it, then something caught the corner of her eye as she turned to see a little girl with bunny ears as she muttered. "Ah cute bunny ears..." Without realizing she was practically staring at the brown haired girl's ears, it stood out among the other people here so she was quite interested.
The singer turned musician was definitely pissed at Dannis and her partner. Why wouldn't they be, too? After all, Dannis got in front of the mic and simply outdid every little musical piece they mustered to sing at such a lofty event. Not to toot a horn, but they were welcome and it had drawn in a crowd. It was when they attempted to sing themselves that the shade wrote itself. Dannis and Alex had ninety-nine problems, but pitch certainly wasn't one. As Dannis walked down the steps, there was someone among the crowd that simply caught her eyes.
"Bad fashion statement. Terrible choice in shoes, flat or otherwise. Wears colors of the Winter when it's Spring. Sports the typical sidesweep loosely braided hair and...what is up with the umbrella? Has rain been in the forecast because it certainly would improve such dull choice in attire."
All thoughts to herself, of course. Judging by that fashion statement down to the camera, it was clear to understand this woman was some kind of journalist. Not a good one, but one no less. She was willing to assume a blogger as a result. Dannis smiled and posed for another picture, just to make this young woman's day in saying she got a photo. Then, Dannis left it up to Alex to handle some of the lightweight.
With a tap to her shoulder, Alex appeared behind the girl with an imposing size and height.
"Trying to get up and close to the lovely Dannis Haughton, eh, pequena (little one)? Not trying to harass her, are you?"

The pink haired female was quite the energetic type. While Artemis didn’t show it, her more high pitched and louder tone in talking made her cringe. IT was not out of annoyance, but merely because of her “rabbit” ears. While she hadn’t mentioned it, her fake ears worked like normal ears, being connected to her implant she was pretty much hearing everything going on with her fake ears instead of her implants. This consequently meant that the sounds picked up were slightly amplified, so everything would be transmitted to her real “ears” as slightly louder than in reality. This helped catch conversations from a further distance, or in her case, ear certain mechanic workings better. Her rabbit ears were still far from what she wanted them to be capable of, but for now they would suffice. The brunette for now would prefer if no one know that her rabbit ears actually had a function besides aesthetic. They didn’t need to know. It was for her and her alone. Sadly she just was going to have to bear with people’s voices being a little on the loud side.
A slight smile grew on her face as the compliments somewhat continued. The smile in reality was mildly forced but it still seemed natural. ”Thank you. It is quite amusing.”
The conversation shifted towards food and unfortunately she did not seem to know the answer. They were going to have to be “that” type of guest that hunted for the food it would seem. ”Guess we look then,” Arty began as she started to move in a direction she hoped food would be in, but before she could even take a step she was interrupted by someone running into Miss Pinky. Once again her ears were complimented which feed her ego a little more. ”Thankssssss…..” she trailed off as she noticed the new girl eating. ”Do.. you know where the food is!?” She leaned close to her in a loud whisper as if the food was some secret treasure that shouldn’t be spoken of too loudly.

Dannis truly was the walking definition of perfection, at least in Kris’ eyes. She walked with poise, and her style was… inspiring. Despite the way she felt about this idol, she still wouldn’t change her styling choices. She liked being the oddball. It was part of what made her her, like a potential wannabe Cindy Lauper, or so she wished. Kris was far from cool. PErhaps her sense of fashion was a cry for attention? In a way it was. She was terrible at breaking the ice, or trying to randomly talk to someone. Her clothing choice often made people come talk to her, even if it was to “mock” but, words bounced off her. She didn’t care what people thought.
As she took a few photos of the modern day Wonder Woman, she did notice a glance, one that was perhaps judging her. Kristine did not care. she had received much worse looks in the past. There was no way she could live up to someone like Dannis and she knew it. No reason to feel bad about it. She was who she was. Someone was bound to like it? … Eventually…
Camera in front of her face she snapped a picture but as she did so she was blocked by a large… hunk of a man!? Heart fluttering she looked up from the lense to see the Idol’s bodyguard trying to be threatening but all Kris’ saw was a sexy beast that deserved her attention a bit more than Dannis. The woman was amazing no doubt but not her type. ”Ha-ha-harass?” She uttered softly like a meek lamb trying to delay its slaughter. ”I…”
She was interrupted by her “partner”. His hand shooting in front of her mouth to keep her from speaking. ”I told you to take photographs and not talk to anyone? But I guess that is too hard of a task for someone like you.” He uttered from behind clenched teeth, though Alex was sure to hear it. Kris was a little peeved by this. She knew how to be professional! Maybe she was a little awkward but that didn’t meant she didn’t know how to do her job. She wasn’t going to “harass” anyone… at least not here… that's what her blog was for after all! An urge to lick his hand to get it off her mouth came but fortunately he removed it before she could.
”We are just here to take some images of the party guests for a news snippet. Nothing more. I apologize for my co-worker.”
Having never been invited to many things in his life, he was puzzled when the invite showed in his P.O. Box. Taking it out of the envelope, he saw it was to a party. He has made up in his mind he wasn't going to go. Not like there was going to be anyone he knew or who would care of his presence. As the days went by leading up to the event, the invite just sat on his coffee table in the living room of his one bedroom apartment. He had contemplated many times on weather or not to go to the party. On the day of is when he decided it would be best to show up.
Getting dressed, he made his way there on his motorized scooter. Parking it outside of the event, he took the key out and put it in the pocket of his slacks. Fixing his clothing, he walked up to the bouncer presenting his invite. "I think the invite says parts on it." Waiting until he was let in, he would find himself food, a drink, and a seat in the corner of the room. There were pretty ladies everywhere. Not much of a male presence was in the place. It didn't matter because he would have rather not make a fool out of himself at this event. He was having doubt of if he should have even came.
Rosaline giggled as Therese spoke, she was already enjoying this conversation. She knew proper manners fitting of a proper lady. Her own crimson eyes caught every movement and reaction with keen interest. "Nightingheart, a unique name in its own right. I can see you are a proper lady. Your manners are quite posh, something I appreciate. Proper manners are the foundation of being a lady, wouldn't you concur Miss Nightingheart?" She posed her question in more of a statement. A clear sign of her station in life. She was used to being right and those around her simply agreeing with her. Though her crimson eyes slightly narrowed as she stated this "question". Would Therese understand? It was a test to evaluate her intelligence. She didn't want to talk to some yes man. She knew she was better than other people but that didn't mean she couldn't find anyone who wasn't competent. Therese showed promise, she greeted her well despite not knowing about her or how to greet her. Not to mention apologizing for not being able to greet her as expected. She was perhaps something special in this crowd of nobodies. A diamond surrounded by useless plain rocks.
Regardless of her answer to the question Rosaline would speak again. "Please your grace is too formal for mates if you must use a formal term, call me Princess. Or call me Rosaline if that suits you. It is solely up to you Miss Nightingheart. What is your age if you don't mind me asking? Between two ladies it should be fine to say so yes?" She moved a little closer and leaned in to whisper the question too Therese. A giggle escaped her lips as she finished and she pulled back slightly though it seemed she kept the distance close between them. She seemed to be doing this on purpose as if everything she did had some reason behind it. The close distance allowed Rosaline eyes to take in the person in front of her. Not to mention even smell what kind of perfume she wore assuming she wore some. It might also throw the girl off her guard and make her more honest. She liked the honesty, lies were easy to spot. She prefered to not have to call out someone on lies.

================= Natsumi Yukihara ================= "Expect the unexpected~!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Food had sounded utterly fantastic by the point. All of this food talking had at least calmed Natsumi down onto a more civil level without knowing a thing about the real reason for the rabbit ears. At least for the sake of Artemis's ears, Natsumi's companion could be somewhat at ease. For the most part there had been someone who had finished singing on the stage, which hopefully would add to the atmosphere better. They had done brilliantly. That would help with Artemis even getting that reprise for all the loud laughter. This helped both of them in that case, though now Natsumi began trying to brainstorm. HRRRMMMm..... There was surely one here! How exciting to get searching!! It was like a mild treasure hunt all on it's own! The grand escapade for the sacred food~!!!!! She could taste the possibilities already~! Maybe eclairs!? croissants with the creamy cheese or strawberry fillings!? oh myy~!!!! Maybe even CAKE. Oh woe was them! The food was calling!!! Where for art thou food!?
How entertaining time had become. Being bumped into, Natsumi had jolted like a cat hitting water, bringing her hands up in the form of a karate move. Er... Not that she knew any karate, but the reflex was there indeed. When she had realized it was actually by the shy girl she could barely see the face of, the pink haired woman could not help but gush, bringing her... Eccentric form back to normal. Ooopsies~! There was an apology and everything! For someone so soft spoken, she was quite the spee walker. Natsumi would of course blow it of with a simple shake of her head, giggling in response before speaking. "Tis no problemo~!!! There are so many people, it was bound to have happened at some point~! No better way to mingle at an event like this than by getting all collision ahah~ I merely jest on that last part." That was when the food hit the nostrils. Oh~! They were closer then they had thought all this time? Natsumi could only raise a brow in surprise, before her gaze had wavered to the sandwich in the new comers hand. Was that... One of those finger sandwiches she had been guessing about??? The most she could do about it was randomly twirl, her left foot being the dominate one for the spin. "Yes oooh yes please guide us both so~! I wish to partake posthaste on something yummy yummy~!"
Oh? The greeting had been passable? That had certainly helped ease the tension off her shoulders. Therese could see that Rosaline was passing it, based on the demeanor given. A huge relief on her shoulders to maintain her own demeanor away from negativity. Being asked based on this kind of topic, Therese could agree to her point of view. "Ah, that is very true. I have learnt through the years, one must have that edge of etiquette and wit in order to survive. I can concur that much based on a few times, where I needed those two attributes, plus a demeanor of stone, in order to pass what must be done. I must admit, I more lean to trusting my wit and intellect that I am able to properly get by. Etiquette of a lady I find is indeed the foundation, but also only part of that balance towards how being a lady must be." Straightforward on answer, and direct as she was able. The statement had indeed come off as a question, but an easily answerable one. The one lesson in life she had to learn the hard way had been resolved by the use of her mind and slick tongue of speech. Therese of course had left that small bit out of her own answer, knowing the consequences fully well enough, as her mouth had caused her into some forms of trouble, at the aspect of being too honest for her own good.
For however result her answer would have been, Therese was pleased to know there was a certain way she was able to properly speak Rosaline's name. Having to ave tried to remember her whole name would have only been a result of possible fail. Rosaline was a beautiful name on it's own, though Princess would seem to be more proper in it's likeliness when addressing royalty. Her companion was surely here for a good time just like her, and surely using the princess label would not allow to give her companion a good chance to relax as much. Rosaline it was. Name wise was no problem, nor was speaking of one's age. Therese could admit to the moon and back again she was but merely a young woman. Almost 20 at that. "There is no problem to answer a reasonable question for sure. I am currently 19, only just embracing into the years of adulthood." When answering this, it was easy to see the Princess closing in, for what purpose she was unsure. The matter of her speaking, while lavishing to a giggle only added more curiosity then earlier before. This made Therese glad she wore perfume as per usual, the apple, jasmine, and vanilla scent lingering sweetly like a tiny caress. This kind of interesting concept had her wish to see how far or how long her companion was going to be doing this. She of course had no mind to return questions as well. "I must wonder this about you as well Rosaline. Your complexion alone, I was wishing to guess around 17 and 18, but I was unsure if I would be way off the mark." 『Prologue: Blood of a Company 』
▨✥▨
The scene was set. People who were invited was still filtering in but the patrons of honor were all put into place. There were some missing pieces but they would arrive in due time. A car would pull up, the sound of a Harry Potter Symphony blasting as he sipped his wine. Pregaming? No. It was more a toast. A glass to celebrate. Tonight was going to be successful. Or was it already a success. Slithering out of his limo after it came to a full stop, the dark cane smacked against the pavement, assisting his glorious stride. With each step, it felt as if a viper was getting closer and closer to it’s prey. Going up to the door, the security didn’t hesitate to let him in. Just by his mere walk alone, they knew who he was and what he has done. Walking past the security, he found them to be unfitting. His eyes held a low somber anger that sizzled with heat from the sight. Who invited some of these hoodlums? Some of them had the same vibe. The same stench as that girl who had to be cleaned up off the sidewalk at the festival. Taking out his pocket watch, the broadcast would occur soon. In due time. But first. Some magic. Looking at the various storm riding blogs and twitter feeds there was one that caught his eye. Some blogger was here? Well. That usually wouldn’t cause an issue but there was something on her feed that caught his eye. Luckily, it wasn’t anything too major in detail. Do to that, he didn’t worry. Not like it mattered. At the next minute, the second hand would meet the 12 on the clock and the plug was pulled. The storm riding network was down and TwitterFingers was un-avaliable. Connection to the storm riding world gone. Checking his phone, he tried to access the blog and it gave him a 404 error. With that, he would nod and continue on. Soon, his slithering made make it to the table that had Misses Melrose and an unoccupied seat. Moving the name over, he would take a seat by Miss Melrose. “Hello Madam. Nice to see true beauty at this establishment. You was contacted too about the company?” He questions with sincerity before taking a seat. Prince’s spot taken. Where was Prince anyways?
Voice Message
Psshhh..Pshhhhh *lots of static before calming down* Hey… I don’t have much time but. Just letting you know, I… will be leaving town for a while. Don’t worry about me. Just do me a favor. Become the best Lather road rider for me? Also…..Just know. I truly considered you a friend. You was someone I could hang with, have fun with, and your heathen attitude never left a dull moment…Fly High, you little Nightingale Heathen. See you around” It was Kai. The flame road rider who was leader of Cosplay Knights. It seemed from the message he was giving her a goodbye message but something seemed off. It seemed he was struggling for breath. Was he getting choked up? Sadness? Why did it sound like he was not coming back? Was he getting deported? It could raise alarms. Then again, he was a cosplayer. So, 9/10 he probably was going and doing cosplay work. Yet, why did he not call?
Things seemed to be so calm at this party. She thought by now a fight would have done broken out, but no. It has been civil. Everyone was mingling, eating, and having a nice time. More and more people where staring to fill the hall. Her eyes snapped up as a gentleman entered the VIP section and made his way to her table. "That is who the name tag belongs to." She thought to herself. At first, she was going to open her mouth and introduce herself, but it seems he beat her to the punch. He was complimenting her. Very gentleman like. Maybe they could make a nice conversation at the table. "Hello." She spoke kindly greeting him back. "Why yes I was. I was summoned with a pretty special invitation. I am curious as to why, but I guess I'll learn soon." She extended her hand. "Sonya Melrose. CEO of Melrose Investments." She properly introduced herself to her table guest.
The more Therese spoke the more Rosaline was coming to like this girl. She was turning out to be that diamond in the rough after all. "Bloody brilliant Miss Nightingheart. Very well said indeed. I'll make a diplomat out of you yet." A playful hit to Therese and some more giggles as she spoke. As she answered her next question with no fear, one that can only come from a girl still in the prime of her youth. "The prime of youth no? Well, I think you look positively blinding. At first, it was your brilliant eyes that caught my attention, then I noticed your dress and I had to come over. I like your fashion, not to mention that perfume you are wearing, it is bloody intoxicating."Rosaline was certainly being quite flirty though she was enjoying herself so she didn't mind to do so. Regardless of if her new acquaintance was receptive to the same gender or not didn't matter. It was fun for her and that was what mattered.
Rosaline saw fit to answer Therese's question. She was off the mark but most people generally were. "You are off the mark on this one but don't be disappointed, I've never had anyone guess my age correctly. I am only 15 years old. Hard to believe I know." She suddenly twirled around in a circle, her dress catching the air a bit. It was as if she was letting Therese get a good look at her. "Many wonder how I am a diplomat at my age. I'm sure you are thinking the same thing. I can assure you I'm quite qualified for the job. My status did not land me this job, though it certainly made it easier. My talent and intelligence got me my position. I finished a college degree by age thirteen, not but two years ago." What she was saying often surprised people, finishing through high school then college by age thirteen was not some easy task anyone could do. It took a certain level of genius to do so. "I hope you are not to taken aback. I rather like speaking with you though once some people learn my age they get a certain way. I think jealousy or threatened is generally how they seem to feel."
Japan was to cold for her liking, as Napua adjusted her jacket, she couldn't shake the feeling that this party was a bad idea. Something about it just felt off, sure it could be that on the invitation had made a point to mention her country was gone. True she was one of the lucky ones, the strike had ignored Hawaii thus her family was safe, but so many others hadn't been so fortunate. Could this be a trap? Set up to get rid of the remaining riders from US. That would be a great strategy, after all Japan was the leader in AT technology now they didn't want vengeful riders getting it and seeking to return the favor of destruction. This thought was still dancing about her mind as he taxi arrived at the location. Giving a sizeable tip Napua got out with her ATa in her messenger bag. Watching others go into the event she felt her attire might not be up to par. After all she had opted out of traditional business casual, adopting a black blouse cargo capris and a stylish jacket. This thought danced around her mind as she approached the entrance. "Aloha braddah da password is parts but seriously dats easy anybody could go en guess dat." She laughed while the guard with no sense of humor stepped aside allowing her to enter. Napua decided to play she "accidentally" bumped him with her hips as stepped by, "sorry these things get one mind of da're own." She stated still laughing as he glared at her while the Hawaiian girl made her way inside. The party itself certainly had its fair share of interesting people, a few women with white hair, a girl with bunny ears and so much more. "Brah dis place da kine fancy but small'kine dull. It needs some flare." She said to herself looking over the event.
"Chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiihuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!" The very loud exclamation rang out through the party as the local girl decided to start things off her way. "Aloha everybody howzit? Dis place look mo like one party my pops tutu going foa den da'kine foa stormriders. No can dat is junk, we get choke people and grinds let's make dis place one rager braddahs and siatahs!" As she spoke to the whole room Napua would keep her eyes on the guards, last thing she needed was to get tossed out after just getting there. However the idea of a fancy dress patty was full enough for her to consider banging her head into the wall.
『Prologue: Blood of a Company 』
▨✥▨
Making his way into the party from a side door, he slipped in among the people that had gathered in the hall. He would be in the shadows and he made his way to the stage. As he prepared, the MC grabbed a microphone and tapped it to make sure it worked and to get the guests attention. “Hello.” she said into the microphone as it echoed of the walls of the hall. “Welcome to the Cyber Customs Solutions Tournament Party! I am your host and Secretary of Cyber Customs Solutions. There will be a presentation in a few minutes on some new technology the company is working on. I am hoping that this presentation will motivate some of our special guest we have invited to invest in Cyber Customs as we made advances in air treck technology. Please continue to enjoy the food and music.” Someone came on stage and whispered in her ear and she nodded. She held the microphone at a distance so that they conversation couldn’t be heard through it.
Soon a tumbler was rolled onto the stage and it had little pieces of paper in it. The person she was having a conversation with wrapped up the conversation and left the stage. “Alright lovely guests. I have been informed that we have some prizes to give away. Everyone that received an invitation name has been put into this tumbler. It has been told that I am to turn the handle and pull a name from it. What would be a better time than now to pull the first name?” Walking over to the tumbler, she would turn the handle a few times and pull out a name. “Alright. Our first prize goes to Napuaonalani Keopuhiwa Jones. Miss Jones! Come get your prize!” She waited on stage as the prize was brought up on stage in a nice gift box. She would take a hold of the gift box and wait for the person whom name she called to come up on stage and claim their prize. The person who won would have their hand shaken, picture taken and would be escorted off the stage. “Well that is all for our first raffle. Please stick around. We have two more prizes to give away. For now, the presentation shall begin. " She would then exit the stage.
With the lady gone, the CEO came to the stage. A projector started to come down behind him. It was time for the presentation. “As promised, it is time to present the latest technology that the company is working on. Thanks to a few partners, we have been able to obtain the necessary parts needed for this project. Please sit back and enjoy. I am willing to answer all questions at the end of the presentation.” He said before the light were dimmed and the first slide became visible. On the projector was just simple introduction with their name and his name. On it. “My name is Wan Zexi. I am CEO and founder of Cyber Customs Solutions, a Chinese company that with the blessings of the Japanese Government. Special thanks to Mr. Naito of the current Prime Minister Cabinet. We are a company specializing in rare air trek technology. Our first line of products are going to be ambitious but we have good plans. Please note, at this time everything here is confidential and under a NDA. Please do not let this information leave this party. If done so, we will pursue legal actions. Moving on. Our first line are going to be the Regalia line. (Pauses for moment). Yes, the Regalia line. Admittedly they aren’t going to be as powerful as the regular regalias, but they are going to be strong. Reasoning behind this? Our view is that Storm Riders need integrity. Rules. Laws to live by. The current system of storm riding is made by thugs. Bets? Raised stakes with no fairness. Is it fair competing to be king when you are at disadvantage by not having equal tech? The person at the top should be about the skill not holding the top spot because they have such a powerful…tool. That’s not the best. That’s just a clown who got lucky! We are doing this to promote equality. To equalize the scales. The best part about this line, they going to be just like the original designs of the regalia. Thanks to some “generous” donations of the regalias to us to help with the goals, we have this.” He would then stop his speech to flip to the next slide which would become a rotating hologram of the prototype versions of the mass produced regalia they were making. All were there except a few. “As you can tell, we got most roads covered. All except there Sonia and Pledge. Which hopefully those kings would come forward and help us with our mission goals.”
If it wasn’t obvious, there was something strange with his speech. Would riders really want equalized field? That’s not how things work. Did they really have the ability to replicate regalia power? That was unheard of. More importantly, the regalia. Generous donations? Who gave up their crowns willingly to some makeshift company. The company could have riders that won the regalia but…no one has mentioned any type of changing of the crown. There been no recent king matches either. That’s huge! Could one imagine the backlash that would happen if the outside world found out what they were doing? Of course they would probably find out eventually but it easier contain the masses when you have a working product to appease the culture. Sure, some who are hardcore storm riders may disagree with the philosophy but would the storm riding nation really get that upset over their idea of fairness? Maybe, if they knew the truth. All of the truth. At the base of it all, this could be seen as an attack on the storm riding culture and corporate take over. While corporations were already in the storm riding world with air trek technology, none before have tried to manipulate and change the culture. Change how things work. Change the balance. It always was a storm rider’s world with the cooperation. Would the world stand for this?!
“I understand probably be some questions. WE gathered you all here for feedback and most importantly donations for our cause. On the tables are boxes where you can write donation checks or make a pledge amount. Of course compensation will occur if you do help us. Now, any questions? I will answer them all” he would then pause and take the questions in. (If you have any questions. Put them in your post and he will answer them. Even if someone else asks a question, asks yours and any follow up questions in your post. The next mod post will answer all questions asked by rpcs. ) He wasn’t worried. He knew who all was there. He knew, that if anyone tried leak information. He would find them. He would look through all that was invited and weed them out. Now, if only someone had some type of hidden blog and was anonymous on there. Be awkward right? The night was going to be a special one and the best part, this was just part of the festivities that was going on.
Everything had been going fairly smoothly, she wouldn't be noticed by anyone and she was rather grateful for that. Being one of the few high ranking riders within the community usually put a spotlight on one's activities yet she never really had to suffer that. Keeping her hands on her lap as they overlapped each other, squeezing lightly as her anxiety played a sonata on her nerves leaving her mildly jumpy, especially when some random woman started to yell, it was getting to the point where she wasn't going to be able to stand this much longer. Thankfully she would be offered respite as the party host appeared, made his announcements and called out a raffle winner before going on to....a presentation. Almond eyes widened in shock and mild terror at the man's remarks, the sight of mismatched eyes and a rubied smile made her freeze into a statue. Blinking as tears threatened to make their appearance she would stand stiffly holding her elbows in a feeble attempt to hold herself together, 'What did I say about that confidence?" the idle whisper of her mentor curled through her mind forcing her to breath out slow and take steady steps towards the exit. Her mother had a hand in this if every regalia with the exception of Pledge and Sonia were there, why would her mother give up the object she vied for so heavily? That made no sense to her. There was something bigger going on and it sent shivers down her spine. Without a word and possibly a few rough shoves from the petite rider she would make her way out as to not have to deal with either people or the idea her mother might be up to something again.
