Lixes - Post 2 Lixes continued to pull his older brother forward, wanting to get a better look at things. If they were close they would be able to hear what the elders had to say more clearly, right? They would be able to figure out what it was that was going on and they would be able to really get ready for... well, whatever it was that was coming their way. As they got closer he slowed down, feeling that he shouldn't be too excited, not when everyone else around them were acting so nervous and on edge. Instead he'd wait, watch, remain calm, and decide what he should do next after the elders spoke up. A shame that he didn't have a whole adventuring party like the one he dreamed of when he was younger. If he did they would be able to do even more if this was something that called for 'heroes' to step forward he thought to himself. Lixes did his best to keep from shifting in place as he awaited any sort of news.

Rethkk Post 2Rethkk was quite startled when someone bumped into him, seeing a blue skinned figure before him. Without much hesitation he began to laugh like he had before, half expecting the stranger to leave. That didn't happen however, which showed on his rather perplexed face. Did they actually want to speak with him? Well, that would be new if it was! ", Oh! I-... uhh..." He began to twiddle with his fingers unsure how to respond. No one really liked making short talk with him, so he wasn't quite sure how one was to respond ", No? I don't live too far from here I guess. I... I think it isn't too close though. Maybe almost half a day way? I wasn't... well... keeping track of time."

Tsallin Post 2
"Do you think this will end up in a war Ruulu? I really wish I was a bit older than I am now, more prepared, my kinfa a little older, I wanted to be ready if this ever happened to take advantage of a good standing on high ground and all that. Now the moment is here and I'm still under four feet tall."
He sounded old and a tad bitter but well there it was. One apparently did not get to choose when interesting things happened. Ruulu at least had made it to prentice. He was still struggling to get there.
She looked so tall and elegant. He was still as of yet a runt.

Ruulu Post 2
"Just because you are not tall yet does not mean you can't help in some way, if not as a warrior then as a messenger or spy. Don't underestimate yourself ever Tsallin. We will do great things soon. Don't worry. Maybe we will even find another to join our crew of two, you never know after all who will be out there."
She wondered where her Mother was, no doubt Iroia would be livid to know that her youngest daughter was out in the war by herself..well and not letting her mother get any of the action.
Ruulu squared her shoulders and worked on her patience. She wasn't alone she had Tsallin. Who was quite mature for his years. Young people grew up fast usually in tendaji.

Drexl- Post 2When they slowed down, Drexl jerked his brother back into his side. The elder not a fan of the whispers his tall build allowed him to pick up. Something was amiss...he didn't like this. He looked down to his brother. "Do not go far from me." he said with a stern look.

Jhin - 2
As he stayed near Solari the male was surveying the crowds. It seemed that there was definitely a mix of emotions. Some seemed too worried to speak, others constantly were whispering rumors, while some seemed angry and sad others were also chatting normally with friends and family. It was obvious to tell who had been affected by the rumors and by those who still had yet to realize that something was truly up. It made Jhin extremely curious and almost impatient to hear what was to be discussed.

Chapter 9: Grave Expectations
|| IC ||
Enki and Enlil exchanged worried looks after they had met with Antiope. They knew the rumors, they had listened to their own people’s fears. Antiope’s attention was drawn away from the crowd; the village chiefs, the elders, all of the higher ups in the villages were conferring. Some of them still didn’t know, and it would be up to them to decide what was best, what course they could take to prevent more people from disappearing.
Their meeting was brief, the rest of Jauhar and Tale left to talk amongst themselves, and they couldn’t help but generate rumors about what may be happening in their little huddled group. There was chatter coming from all over, was it another war, were people in danger? Some of the more zealous folks in the crowd could be heard murmuring, “I bet it has something to do with that new land across the sea.” and “I knew those people couldn’t be trusted”.
But the group of leaders broke and it was Antiope and Enlil to step forward. ”Everyone!” Antiope cleared her voice, her eyes scanning the crowd. ”Now, we have word that there are people disappearing from Jauhar.” She offered a hand in the direction of Enlil. ”And in Tale as well.”

Tsallin Post 3
"People disapearing from Jauhar... people disapearing from anywhere. Suppose it is a group..suppose the extremists are back but keeping it cooler this time? Suppose it is those bug people my Mother warned me about....." He looked at Ruulu furtively, trying to guage her reaction to the news. "I regret leaving my family alone, what if one of them is next?"
He snaked his fingers through hers for comfort. Where was his Mother, where was her Mother?

Ruulu Post 3
"Yes, I could feel something strange is going on. I don't like it. Best to send letters back with the kinfa when we can with the latest information, they are smart enough to get it to where it needs to go."
She patted her kinfa which was at her other side busily chirping quietly with his kinfa. She hated waiting for whatever was going to come. She just wanted the people to spit the stuff out and let her know what is going on.

Ikkio Post: 2 Location: Around -------------------- Ikkio assessed the leaf girl breifly, recognizing the same thing that Nyx had - mischief. Boredom. A need for a little chaos and mayhem. "Mmm. A little of both." she admitted, her posture unfolding. "It's interesting, to be sure, but to be honest half of these people..." she gestured lazily around her but mostly towards their glorious leaders, "Couldn't find their own bright white rear ends in the dark. Or brown rear ends," she achknowledged, with an almost wink at Nyx "For that matter." she sighed theatrically, "So, this meeting is probably going to be a waste of time."Maybe, maybe not. Either way, she was supposed to be here for her father. "Or maybe not." she shrugged, "Anyway." she gave Nyx a smirking smile. "I'm Ikkio, daughter of the mighty sorcerer Biroki." The way she said it, overly saccharine and mocking, showed exactly what she thought of him. He was powerful, but he was also... a jerk. "Hmm, how about you?"MissMisnomer I'm already afraid Also everything she says and does is vaguely flirtacious so make of that what you will.

Lixes - Post 3 Lixes gave a bit of a sigh, jumping up and down for a moment, before muttering about his height. That was one thing that he was definitely lacking in. Unlike Drexl who got their half Alkidike father's height Lixes was more like their Earthling father... which meant short. Giving a bit of a grumble he gave his brother a nudge in the side and said, "I can't see very well. Either pick me up on your shoulders or find a good perch where I can see better from." Before he could say much more he heard a woman start to speak in a very clear voice that carried. It was a voice that was quite impressive and held a quality to it that made him wonder if she was a hero or sorts as well. As she spoke his eyes went wide as she talked about the most basic of villain plots... stealing people away! It was something he'd actually seen in the past with his own eyes when some villain had tried to kidnap Rajani! Instantly he was at attention, head cocked to one side, as he tried to take in everything that was said so they knew what those in charge wanted them to do.

Post 3 It was nice to make some small talk, it made him feel less alone. Borra gave a genuine smile. he was a very friendly sort and if this shifter had been a child he probably would of been even more bouncy. Kids always did that for Borra, he loved their innocence and care free ways. He loved to entertain them with his silly songs and dances, but he was feeling more somber with all the adults around. And being separated from his troupe and sister wasn't helping things.
"That still seems far to me...then again any traveling seems like a chore to me." Borra stated with a chuckle, he was starting to sound like his sister who had hated every second of their traveling to Jahaur and now that they had found a place to settle was very unwilling to stray far from their 'home' of sorts. He wanted to ask more questions but found himself hushed by someone nearby as Antiope called for everyone's attention.
True the news wasn't as shocking as he was expecting, there had been many rumors flying around about the missing people but perhaps it was more the fact the rumor was being confirmed as truth was the most unsettling. Shifting he looked uncomfortable and he was hugging his chest as if trying to contain his wildly beating heart. Chewing on his lower lip he regretting not coming with Gyuri he had been so sure that he would be fine going alone...
"This..this isn't good..." He murmured mostly to himself but perhaps to the shifter he had started chatting with moments before.

Drexl- Post 3Drexl rolled his eyes as he pulled his sibling to the side. Shifting to hoist his sibling on his shoulders as he knew he could keep the other up there for a while. Lixes was light...Jerami was lighter...he took in the woman's words. This wasn't a good thing. Should they go home?

Tsallin Post 4
Tsallin wondered where everyone else was, where his brother was, was he safe, his father, what would his father think about this, he really wanted his Father's opinion for some reason, some sense of greater knowledge from the youngish theif had Tsallin's spidey senses all tingling. His Dad was smart he could figure all of this out without breaking a sweat he was sure.
He waited for the verdict to drop, soon there would be no calm no peace just chaos. How he comported himself now spoke of how he would comport himself in the future.

Ruulu Post 4
Ruulu's entire being right down to her breathing was focused on the anouncers. What did they know, what plots could she weedle out, what would this mean for her in the future. What events now could shape the world?
Did the Yaeli find some secret and needed people to test on, did the extremists dare to come out of exile and were taking their long lived rage out on the rest of tendaji? She had so many questions and she wanted answers!
Information, food, bed! Best things ever.
